What happens if you bounce a Jade Golem? Does it transform when it lands in your hand or does it transform at the moment it's summoned to the board?
You wouldn't want to have an 11+ Jade Golem on the board and have your opponent play Vanish or Sap. The Rogue mirror match could have some interesting consequences. Kidnapper might even finally be useful for something.
It looks like they designed it specifically to not be affected by silences and bouncing works they way you would expect. The mana cost never goes over 10 (unless it gets hit with freeze trap) and the cost and stats stay the same when it gets bounced.
RIP Rogue? Are you guys forgetting how Rogue can play cards that summon Jade Golems multiple times through cards like Shadowstep and Shadowcaster?
these combos are not for meta.
most likely fun deck
Lol, people always say that before a new type of deck eventually get's created.... I'm not saying it's good, but those are not gimmick cards, and when you have enough reason to use shadow step effects (including brew-masters), and can create enough value, they start getting pretty powerful.
Certainly. Rogue has many tools to brake the game with jade golem mechanic. It is not clear yet those cards will be playable now but there is room to bullshit. :D
But it will fit better in Ramp druid deck i guess.
Is this the real deal or just a theory cuz I don't think that you can summon more than 10 jade golems in one game and it would be too strong to deal with especially Druid would be a god. This mechanic is too strong for this game.
Nah, it's not. We first need to see what kind of cards the mechanic gets (All the ones revealed thus far are Commons (Not always a indication of quality, but look at Grimestreet Enforcer vs Grimestreet Outfitter)) , and even then all these cards are is big dumb muscle.
And big dumb muscle can win you games, but it's almost always outclassed.

The mechanic isn't too strong, its just that if you can blend it right with the right control decks it will be outright scary to play against... Im in :D
no it is too strong bro if you look at mana curve of summoning cards you can summon a 7/7 8/8 and 9/9 jade golem at one turn there is not a single control deck that can handle with those shit. Other classes will play more aggro decks in no time to deal with this.

You have to get the majority of the Golems over 5 health by turn 6 or you're just going to die to Dragon Priest. Rogue is not going to have fun dealing with curvestone Priest.
Not to mention all the aggro decks smorcing you. Golem is an anti control mechanic in an aggro and mid meta. That's a problem .
As soon as Jade Golem was revealed, Kel'Thuzad went Wild for the night, fuck being polite Shaman Reincarnate Jade Lotus will be potentially really strong

Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!

Yeah, I should have caught the mana cost.
What I'm curious about, though, is the "summon" part. "Play" inherently incorporates "summon". When you "play" a card, it "summons" a minion.
Strictly speaking, when you play a Jade Golem from your hand, it should buff itself to the "current Jade Golem level" when it is summoned to the board.
If that's true, it means that Shadowcaster, for instance, would be a lot more interesting. Likewise, bouncing an existing Jade Golem and replaying it.
Um, DUDE! How is a control deck supposed to deal with that? Seeing as the Jade Golems go up to 30/30, there's no way to get around those golems other than going face. Perhaps Blade of C'Thun and Shadowcaster new meta?
Yes, sure. Give rogue more shitty mechanics that doesn't fit with the class... better delete the class, fucking Mr. Brode.
What happens if you use Gang Upon a Jade Golem?
Does the Golem grows if we copy with faceless manipulator?
How does this fit in with Shaman at ALL? I feel like it works very poorly with the overload mechanic.
Seems balanced
Golden Heroes(Ordered by acquired): Hunter. Paladin. Warlock. Mage. Shaman(hehe thanx blizz free-be) Warrior and Druid.

Rogue cannot play any long term mechanic because she die before turn 8.
Nice try but probably rogue will forced to play miracle for all eternity.
Jade Lotus decks will brutally murder Control Warrior, maybe even more than Control Priest does
