    Fun fact:

I played reno and had sorc. apprentice. and then the cost at aviator bob are reduced. so i could just buy everything. was insane. it was combi of sorc apprentice + the treasure that makes your spells cost health. i doubt it is intended this way?

i had this too but he had the 5/4 that causes mistargeting and i removed my flame waker. 😂

Lol. Ok boomer... Jk but really I'm sure all those concerns can be addressed. The invokes make a better early game galakrond makes another later game bomb... You don't have to play him on curve... Overall it just seems more powerful... We'll see

There is obviously synergy between the two, but that does not come without a cost. So let's say you do merge the two ideas. You are going to have to cut a lot of the value generating minions or your tempo based battlecry minions in order to make room for the invoke stuff. So you will either be cutting out your late game value generation, or your late game burst options via those battlecry damage minions.

Lets say you cut the value and go all in on tempo. You're probably going to do very well with the board leading up to your massive galakrond turn. And yes if the 4 8/8s don't get wiped out that is probably the win. But if this fails, the deck has absolutely zero gas.

Now let's say you cut your tempo, mutates, direct damage battlecry minions. You'll have a much better time again control, but your aggro matchup is going to become severely worse, and your burst reach will be much lower.

Dont get me wrong, I am no psychic. There may be some perfect balance of both that leads to some insane deck, but I feel people forget how small 30 card decks really are. There are going to be a TON of enticing cards to put into this galakrond hybrid shaman deck, and you won't even come close to fitting them all in.

     that dude gets it

Obviously you lose the quest hero power, but at some point 4 8/8s with rush and a 5/2 weapon are good

I do not understand why shaman doesn't get any wild shudderwock battlecry support. I am disappointed.

And all those shaman cards are so aparted rush shit. Because of shaman is powerfull in standart they give useless rush cards ti it which is bad af :DDD

And I think all aside from that all those shaman cards won't see play in wild. I can't see any place.

2 8/8 rushes from shudderwok not good enough for you?

Ie there is no competition between quest and this because obviously you run them together for the incredible synergy. Not to mention then shudderwok can also summon 8/8 rushes along with the 4 8/8s galakrond summons with the quest.

So, it's Whirlwind and kind of Claw glued together... seems overcosted.

You're undervaluing the "glued together" aspect. Value comes at a cost. And then think about it as swipe that deals 1 less initial damage but at one less cost and it developed your galakrond. Absolutely costed correctly.

It deals the same exact amount of damage as swipe to enemy minions

Amazing how underestimated this seems to be. 2/1 rush is better than warlocks. It has applications of being better than warriors in that it leaves a body if you don't attack with it. And most importantly, this is tied with warriors as being the best for the early stages of invoke development. This allows you to play those understated invoke minions in the early-mid game while allowing you to help keep aggro at bay. On top of that, two 8/8s with rush essentially says "the board is mine now" save a few situations.

Pretty shocked at the negative reviews on this. Wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being the best galakrond.

I don't think it's strong enough to compete with the quest tho

What makes you think it competes. 4 8/8 rush minions seem pretty good

Well let's not get carried away here, just two 8/8 minions with rush, which is still insane. Lol my god if it were 4 there would be 0 question whatsoever.

But there is 4 if you run it with the quest.... Plus shamans double invoke is a battle cry so you have u5 cost battlecry that creates 4 2/1 after quest completion

Leeroy + Grave Rune + Holy smite on Leeroy is 18 damage

Sure but it is not that good when you think about it, because Priest already has Leeroy + Embalming Ritual + Wretched Reclaimer which is also 18 with 9 mana.

You mean you have twice the chance to pull this off? Add in reckless Rocketeer and you have a pretty consistent combo

It should unfreeze minions... At least according to English. Frozen is a noun in this context which implies the state of being frozen won't exist.

This also creates the possibility to make your early game neutrals.... Then play this to increase the over all average value of your deck on mid to late game....

This is 10 times better than surrender to madness. There is no comparison. As others have mentioned this always ultra cheap decks to ramp minions it also gives boosts to a mid-range deck that uses a lot of early game spell support. Not sure if it's good or not but there is a lot more opportunity with this card and the surrender comparison is an extremely bad one.

People really undervalue Jaraxxus, he is actually very good at ramping up your whole board, and generally while you want a couple massive minions you want your whole board to be at least decently strong, and often translates to improving your board with +5/5 or +6/6 per turn. It makes your end-game consistent, even if not Uber-powerful. Just grab a wrath weaver, mal'ganis and an annihilian battlemaster and you're set.

Who I'm surprised about is yogg-sauron, whose stat bonuses are meagre at best even in the early game and even worse because they are random and often hit minions that are anti-synergistic, and yet ranks second??? HOW?

Because he allows extra early game minions and earlier then while still getting a minion. In other words he has good economy. The start bump helps too but his main advantage is economy
