Tough call! Remember that Kathrena Winterwisp is not the most versatile of legendaries. If you get bored with recruit and deathrattle hunter, or the decks fall out of the meta, 3 legendaries is a fairly steep price, especially since Nat Pagle is classic.
Explanation - control warlock player here, who is pleased with his ladder deck and looks for something more casual. I always had a thing for Hero cards and when I saw the warrior one for the first time, I immediately felt in love with it. The problem is - I don't know if I want to craft the whole deck supporting it. I took a look at an example list on vSsyndicate and my God is this deck expensive.
I can probably spare myself the second Supercollider, but I'm still missing 1x Shield Slam, 2x Reckless Flurry, BGH, Zilliax and Baku the Mooneater. I have some dust, I can also DE some bad cards, but I don't know if it's worth investing a huge portion of my collection into this deck. As a disclaimer to this statement, I know that I'll be able to create a lot more (competitive) decks - Odd Rogue, -//- Pala, -//- Hunter, Pogo Hopper Rogue and almost every control warrior from now on, but this will leave me with no spared dust for my other desirables. I want to play with the aforementioned "forgotten gems" even if they don't necessarily create tier 1 decks.

With Archbishop Benedictus and maybe Raza the Chained I will improve my Thief Priest. With Zola the Gorgon (and Archbishop) I could build the standard Quest Priest and also dane's factory mage. I also want to give Burgle Rogue a try, but I'm missing Tess Greymane (and some Preparations). I also planned playing an N'Zoth warrior deck, which featured Sneed's Old Shredder and surprise, suprise I miss this legendary. If I craft it, I could also add it in my Renohuner.
So, what's your opinion for this? I would also need some wild players' thoughts.
kthx
I think working your way towards control warrior with Dr. Boom is by far the best option. Similar decks have been strong throughout most of HS history, and it works in this meta, in several variations.
The other cards you menion are Johnny (MTG term for creative deckbuilders) cards that will make you eat a lot of losses trying to mke them work. You can make a brag thread if you succeed, but I do not guarantee it will happen, even with a lot of effort.
Thx all for the replies but I will write another post if the admin doesn't mind. I probably shouldn't post, since I already got my answers, but I will do it nevertheless. If someone finds it annoying, they can always ignore it. :)
Also not unimportant, dr Boom decks are hella fun.
Yes, I know. But the main reason to craft Dr. Boom, Mad Geniuswas to play mech decks in the first place and since most of the mechs are kinda crappy/slow in standard, I wanted to try out a Mech Deathrattle deck in wild, which features both the hero card and Sneed's Old Shredder. And I will finally be able to use Gorillabot A-3 in my decks as well, which I waited for a very long time to do it.
The odd warrior control list looks fun, but it doesn't concentrate on the hero card, but rather on the controlling strategy. And don't get me wrong, I respect control warr as a competitive deck, but I didn't aim to create myself yet another ladder deck. I bolded a specific sentence in the previous post, claiming that I'm looking for something more casual.
No one should try to convince me, that dust-wise it's way better to aim for the secure deck and the secure components. I was aware from the start, that I could craft high-tier legendaries and be able to create various competitive and semi-competitive decks with them. But I'm threw with the ladder. I don't really care that much about my competitive games and how much I will succeed in ranked. I just want to have fun.
Some consider Valeera the Hollow to be a slow, low-impactful card and thus a low-tier legendary. Despite this, I crafted her in KoFT mainly because I wanted to have fun and I got it. I know, that if I follow the advice people gave me, my investments will go on safe cards, but I don't know if I will get bored with those decks fast. That's my concern. :D
Hello guys...I have 1600 dust for one legendary to craft...I'm wondering if I should craft The Soularium for zoolock cause on Hs replay, it's not event Tier 1 deck anymore....Electra Stormsurge is my option no. 2, but I don't thinkk that Shudderwock shaman is strong enought to ladder to legend... FOr odd paladin i miss only Leeroy, but i don't really like that deck and i don' wanna play it till legend....what do you think is better right now forr laddering up standard meta??

Check the list in the OP and go from there! Leeroy Jenkins is a great craft, way ahead of your other options.
If you are looking for a yes/no answer then I would argue "no". It is versatile and quite weak. It is also a parasitic design (look it up) which can be translated into "This card will not receive much feedback in the future and will not be a sleeper card that can suddenly become more powerful."

I would save the dust for something else.
Every mech that will be added to the game is a support for Zilliax. Aside from that, Zilliax is good enough that you can run it in many decks standalone without any other mechs.
Need advice. I am owning about 80-90% legendaries so I don't urgently need dust or anything, but have Duskfallen Aviana, Subject 9, Toki the Time thinker, Morabi, Temporus and (Harbinger Celestia, Dr. Morrigan) My princip is usually to disentchant all goldens except legendaries or if i it is with discover or to get some random cards like Academic Espionage... But since those are useles I need advice if i disentchant them and make the other ones that I am missing or do you think some may be usefull someday(even wild)
Ps Will wait with Boomsday cards so that i dont get the same one again... Tnx
Just chill imo. When you know for sure what you want to craft, you can consider dusting. It might save you a preorder some day!
Thanks for the feedback. New cards take some time to show their true colors...
The Storm Bringer and Mecha'thun are being demoted to tier 3. They have fallen off from some initial success, as you pointed out.
As far as crafting advice goes, it is a choice to rate neutral cards slightly higher than class cards for their versatility. As Dr. Boom, Mad Genius is not in a stable tier 1 deck yet and The Soularium can easily be replaced in Zoo, they belong in tier 2 for the time being.

The Soularium isn't ''Game breaking'' because it only draws you cards after all, however, it is ABSOLUTELY nuts in Zoolock.
The only real reason it can be replaced is because Warlock can already draw massive amount of cards. IMO it's one of those cards that can be replaceable even though it's tier 1. It's kinda similar to Leeroy.. sure you can replace him in your Odd Rogue deck, that doesn't mean he isn't tier 1, the Soularium and Leeroy should see play 100% of the times in their respective decks if the user has them in their collection.

That is not accurate. The Soularium is not played in many popular versions of zoolock, and the card always had a fairly low "played" winrate. If the zoo is a clear tier 1 and The Soularium is an indesputable staple (like Prince Keleseth is) then he will be bumped to tier 1, but noone has suggested that yet.
Leeroy Jenkins is a clear tier 1 craft as he is classic, and playable in many decks.

How can you not play soularium in Zoo if you own the card ? That makes no sense to me lol. The only reason you can justify not playing it is if you can't afford it.
IMO the soularium will see play until the end of time in zoolock.

Hey, so I have a

Hi.
Same question as in title. IMO Zilliax is pretty versatile legendary. What do you guys think?
Thanks in advance! :)
As always: It depends on your situation.
If you are looking for a yes/no answer then I would argue "no". It is versatile and quite weak. It is also a parasitic design (look it up) which can be translated into "This card will not receive much feedback in the future and will not be a sleeper card that can suddenly become more powerful."

he's good in any mech deck and he's neutral.
--> yes, if you got the dust and use mechs.
Yes, he is tier 1 here for a reason.

Small typo found : You put Kalimos, Primal Lord in the Kobolds section when he's actually from Un'Goro
Erm, Dr. Boom, Mad Genius (staple in any current Warr list) and The Soularium (Staple in Zoo) in the same tier with memes like Mecha'thun and The Storm Bringer?
Just no.

You guys can play the Harbinger deck in my Signature! ^^
It saw some play in mill rogue back in the time (in competition with refreshment vendor).
