As we've seen in the past, Blizzard does care a little bit about the Wild balance and they did indeed nerf Naga Sea Witch and Aviana that were already wild exclusives, along with the problematic Shadowboxer and Dreadsteed aswell as soon to be only wild exclusive Patches the Pirate, Raza the Chained.
Also some of the nerfs meant mostly for Standard did impact the Wild balance a lot; for example cards like : Leeching Poison for Kingsbane rogue, Flametongue Totem for Even shamans, Cold Blood for Aggro odd-rogues and Level Up! for those pesky Oddladins...
Wich wild cards would you like to see nerfed for the balance of the Wild meta ?
I've made a small list of cards that Wild players know to hate because of their obnoxious effects :
If I am not mistaken, the most winning wild decks are the less skill demanding ( brainless aggro ) and the most oppressives decks are the mana cheating decks ( like Big Priest with Barnes on 3 or 4 or Voidcaller warlock into Mal'Ganis / Voidcaller / Doomguard ).
If you've watched the 2019 Wild Open matches a bit, you may have noticed that nearly every single person brought Odd pal and Even sham to the tournament ( often with Even sham being banned ). This is why I chose those cards that I would like to see nerfed, I think that if they indeed ever get nerfed, it would benefit the Wild meta balance.
Do you agree with my picks ? Wich other wild cards would you like to see nerfed ?
I mostly want resurrect effects for priest to be re-thought. Outside of the spellstone which require a bit more resources, I dislike being able to cheat out huge, fully-statted minions with lower cost cards like Resurrect, Onyx Bishop, Eternal Servitude et cetera.
Outside of that, it'd be nice to see Coldlight Oracle re-worked to be harder to force milling. Possibly some kind of interaction with other murlocs like...90% of the other murloc cards?
None, with the possible rare exception being a slight tuning of Barnes' mana cost (Kingsbane Mill already got rekted ;) )
I've seen that T5 is often incapable of not out right killing nerfed cards (Warsong Commander anyone) and I'd rather not one day wake up to see many fun decks/cards of mine dead upon login as a result of some wild competitive deck being nerfed. The moment nerfs happen consistently in wild is probably when some problem related to this would also start popping up.
I don’t think anything, nothing in Wild is really THAT oppressive right now. I think in time with new cards things will balance themselves out. Last thing that was ridiculous was Star Aligner Druid
Barnes because big priest is literally the same as naga sea witch. It's just boring to play against unless you're playing aggressive.
Something that hurts even shaman, in wild it's very annoying to deal with. If you wipe their entire board, they'll just refill it with 4mana 7/7s, and sea giants. Don't forget crackle dealing 7 damage every time because of spell power totem.
I think Devolve gives Even Shaman way too much game against other aggro decks. I wouldn't mind seeing the cost raised to 3 mana, so it's still reasonably efficient "aoe" but doesn't cripple decks playing against Genn.

I agree with this. Although I'm thoroughly sick of Barnes I 'get' that it's an interesting card with cool interactions. I would love to see some tweaking of Big Priest's ability to just highroll with resurrect effects.
Perhaps something like Resurrect having the card text changed to "Summon a random minion that died this game". It would completely destroy the card I think, but I don't think it would kill the archetype (see standard for example).
Barnes: 4 mana 3/4 Battlecry: summon a 1/1 “Actor” and give it text from a random minion in your deck.
I Think that both these changes are good ideas, I do prefer the "Actor" idea of Ibbinx better because Barnes would still be great in more deathrattly decks like big rogue or deathrattle/reno hunter, still playable in Big Priest while significantly reducing the power level of any rez effect afterwards !
You are missing the point of wild. The fun of it is that you may play against Barnes, then against Sylvanas and after that a Jade Priest.... The fun of it is being hard as f***, having tons of powerful cards to play....
Odd paladin isn't even a tier 1 deck. Even shaman probably isn't either.
The strongest warlock deck right now is even warlock. Nerfing Voidcaller will only make that deck stronger.
The only nerf I agree with, as usual, is the Barnes nerf. I feel like every other nerf is just you trying to nerf cards for the sake of nerfing decks without even looking at how prevalent or oppressive they are. Tournaments don't even say half the story of ladder by the way.
Basing your nerfs on tournament results is a terrible idea.

Enough with be, if the resurrect spells would summon not a friendly minion but just a minion that died. Or only minions costing equal or less then their casting cost.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Card Proposed Nerf Target
- Barnes : 5 mana 3/3 or 6 mana 3/4 would be a decent nerf Big Priests
- Voidcaller : 5 or 6 mana would be in par with the 6 mana Possessed Lackey Warlock demon decks
- Quartermaster : 6 mana Odd-ladins
- Muster for Battle : summon two Recruits Odd-ladins
- Thing from Below : "buff" to 5 mana or nerf to 7 mana Even Shamans

Barnes 4 mana 3/4, summon a 1/1 copy of a minion in your deck that costs 5 or less.
barnes 12 mana
but on a serious note ye make barnes + voidcaller cost more mana
Barnes: 4 mana 3/4 Battlecry: summon a 1/1 “Actor” and give it text from a random minion in your deck.
The need to NUKE 3 cards from wild meaning you get double full dust back HOF style and the disappear from the game for-evvvahhh!
Barns, and his even / odd asshole friends.
I enjoy.

Your ideas are really in line with Blizzard's philosophy of killing nerfed cards.
Everything. I want to play only vanilla minions on curve.
"A bargain forged in blood and shadow"
You are missing the point of wild. The fun of it is that you may play against Barnes, then against Sylvanas and after that a Jade Priest.... The fun of it is being hard as f***, having tons of powerful cards to play....
So my answer is: live wild as it is.
So did you like being rekt by Naga Sea Witch or aviana kun decks ? sometimes, killing a card is good for the balance...
