Posted Jun 27, 2018 (Spiteful Nerf)All they needed to do was make the "Your cards cost (5)" effect override cost reductions, and this would have kept it's intended function without giant insanity.
Instead they outright destroyed it for anything outside the giant exploit while making it too weak to really bother with.
If it is going to cost eight, the least they could do would be to give it decent stats for that cost.
Blizzard is notoriously awful with Hearthstone nerfs.

Posted Mar 8, 2018 (Patches Nerf)It is noteworthy that there is actually a flaw in design for Naga Sea Witch that makes her weaker than she could be. Naga Sea Witch, while prevalent in control decks, functions very much like a combo card. In a Naga deck, you need significant card draw. You absolutely need Naga to start the combo. Naga does not win by herself so you also need the giants to go along with her.
Naga is essentially the combo equivalent of a proper control card like Dragonhatcher and Y'shaarj.
