Certain cards in Hearthstone are practically always going to change in power over time, whether for strength or weakness. N'Zoth, the Corruptor is a card that seems to only get better over time. With more and more Deathrattle cards being put into the game and introduced in expansions, N'Zoth, the Corruptor's power only seems to grow in both viability and finishing power. Eventually, N'Zoth, the Corruptor should be viable in every class, whether it's in the best strategy or not.
Every single Deathrattle will only influence the power of this Old God. Even in Arena(while he's still in there), N'Zoth, the Corruptor will be influenced by even the worst of Deathrattle minions. All sorts of potential for Deathrattles in Wild exists.
I like deathrattle because I like to know that even if my enemy gets a board clear, I get a whole mess of effects that give me fuel/minions/healing/damage in exchange.

Look at this thing and let me know what you think!
Counterexample: Marin the Fox, transform removal, and similar. Particularly Psychic Scream, which is extremely good against it. Also if Blizz make more strong cards like Bomb Squad that have the deathrattle as a downside, they're effectively weakening N'zoth.
As long as you have the option to not include Bomb Squad in your list, how does it in any way weaken N'Zoth, the Corruptor? You'd need ways to give terrible deathrattle minions to your opponent to make N'Zoth, the Corruptor weaker. Marin the Fox as you mentioned could work if it was played.
Your arguments are actually a fallacy although I do believe N’Zoth is a very strong and interesting card.
Imagine this scenario: The next ten expansions has very strong cards but almost no useful deathrattles. Maybe there’s a single really good one. In this scenario N’Zoth will be completely outplayed because people do not want to play the subpar Sludge Belcher, the subpar Piloted Shredder etc. etc.
There are other possible scenarios. However given infinite time then N’Zoth should be unplayble because it doesn’t do enough for 10 mana.
Given anything less than infinite time then anything can happen but I believe it will stay a really good card for a very long time and then somehow be forgotten. Kind of like Dr. 7.

Assuming that a very strong variant of Bomb squad was printed/played, then by playing N'zoth you're forgoing the option to use that card, effectively weakening N'zoth. AM I making sense here? You'll always have the option to use it, but if you're forgoing an even more powerful effect that's stapled to a painful deathrattle, that effectively weakens N'zoth.
Ok, I understand what you are saying.
The OP's argument is that N'Zoth, the Corruptor will get stronger whether it's in the best strategy or not; which I agree it will. Like you say though, there may come cards that are so strong and that have anti-synergy with N'Zoth, the Corruptor, that you don't want him in your deck; which I also agree with. But that is kind of beside the point of the OP I think.
Your example with cards like Marin the Fox does counter the OP's argument though, as that can be played against N'Zoth, the Corruptor; effectively giving it a weak (as in not hard) counter.
It's also noteworthy to say that N'zoth's power can increase only so much, as you can bring back at most 6 minions at once and you can fit a limited amount of Deathrattle minions in your deck.
HS is happy to abandon any theme or type once you've sunk your money in it (elementals, I'm looking at you.) Almost. I crafted N'Zoth maybe a year ago on the OP's theory, and until this month, was just wrong. Now I look smarter, apparently 'cause deathrattle is too much fun for them to simply toss it overboard, and at least in wild, N'Zoth IS going to be a good investment. Awaken too, maybe.
I'd guess we aren't near the limit of N'Zoth's power - voidlord is a big reason he's back in vogue, and it's not the ideal deathrattle card, since it dilutes the pool of demon's for the warlock DK to bring back.
Elemental have gotten steady love since Un’goro, just not OP’d tier 1 deck stuff. If you want to try and make that argument look no further then freeze shaman... *cries looking at Moorabi*
It's a verstaile, neutral, board swinging finisher card which can be used to bring back minions of your choice (i.e. the ones you have in your deck). It is and always will be powerful. The power hasn't really increased, it was off the charts to begin with.

I completely disagree with OP that Weasel Tunneler is "not usable." Why, just this morning I N'Zoth'd a full 6 weasels against a Mill Warrior in one of the most satisfying victorious in memory.

Not the Best, but There.
Now, obviously not all Deathrattle minions are viable. Minions like Ticking Abomination, Weasel Tunneler and The Beast are definitely not usable. In contrast, other Deathrattle minions that do see play, are not very viable in N'Zoth, the Corruptor decks either due to N'Zoth, the Corruptor's defensive nature as a 10-Cost card.
Overall Deathrattle Support
So far, only a few cards have been made to support an overall Deathrattle strategy. These cards can be used in N'Zoth, the Corruptor decks. Play Dead, Roll the Bones, Unearthed Raptor, Spiritsinger Umbra, Awaken the Makers and Corpse Widow are all very good support for Deathrattle decks.
Every Deathrattle Matters
Every single Deathrattle will only influence the power of this Old God. Even in Arena(while he's still in there), N'Zoth, the Corruptor will be influenced by even the worst of Deathrattle minions. All sorts of potential for Deathrattles in Wild exists.

Same with barnes, reno, brann, DK's, etc
