Fantastic card! 6 mana for 9/7 is crazy value! They need to deal with it ASAP. And removes one card that could be used against my The Lich King for example. And fucks up Big Priest ress pool a bit with a useless 3/3.
I run this card in all my N'Zoth Rattle decks!

Just bought 7 packs with money and got this wondurfull card AGAIN!! Jesus christ, it sucks, cant think of a good deck to slap it in.

I am also cursed/blessed with a golden The Beast. Playing it in priest N'zoth. He's a heavy hitter. Zero instances of BGH, but he has been stolen by Sylvanas a couple of times. Makes me sad. Might work up the courage to dust him someday. So pretty. Also, golden Finkle Einhorn!

I also got a golden one yesterday with the tavern. :) I will craft it, I don't think it worth keeping, I can get mutch more better cards from the 1600 dust.
The Beast is one of those legendaries that rarely sees play (like Gruul) .
let's first count the math : 9/7 for 6 mana , 9+7=16===>8 is this car's actual mana cost and a 3/3 for your opponent when it dies
He is designed for different situations : 1)hit and kill a minion guaranteed at turn 7 2)Aggro decks ... specielly hunters and warriors who can give this dude a charge does ending in 9+ damage
the 9/7 is a really strong body for a 6mana card , but due to the 3/3 getting summoned for you opponent players call this card bad
you can silence him if you're playing priest , or just run an owl to silence it so that you could not give your opponent a 3/3
your opponent can transform him , but they will lose the 3/3 they were going to get when this guy is gonna die , so they try to kill him as soon as possible due to having alot of attack (9 means 30% of your opponent's full health and that's huge of course)
a 3/3 is no problem specially those classes which have lots of AoE (Area Of Effect) like mages

This card isn't that bad any more it's actually pretty good now. Due to the BGH nerf, you can play The Beast without the fear of your opponent killing it with BGH and immediately getting a 4/2 and a 3/3 on board. I found that if your opponent does try and remove it, they sink most if not their whole turn doing that, which allows you to maintain board even with The Beast negative Deathrattle. Overall, this is a very overlooked card that is now very powerful.
Savannah highmane, does the same job, reflects BGH, AND has much better deathrattle
why play this card? 400 dust mate.
There are many cards like this for other classes like that faceless guy for shaman
And with so many removals in this game this card is most often a free 3/3 for your oponnent.

This card literally have the same sound than core hound when placed in the board, attacking and dying...
Well isnt it just a Core Hound though :P
