Shaman needs a redo altogether in my opinion because the only good archetype in awhile has been the Evolve Shamans. Maybe overload cards would help, maybe murloc cards would help, maybe elementals would help, I don't know. I think we need something fresh.

Honestly, Shaman has the card basis for every archetype, I am starting to think that the hero power makes him hard to build around. I have tried so much time with Sir Finley Mrrgglton and what shaman shapes into was awesome really. Totems are good ok but so random. If the Baku the Mooneater is not for only odd cards it could be a core card for every type of shaman decks for sure. Believe me I don't want to say like that but It seems the problem of shaman is its hero power and it should be reworked imo or maybe it only needs some breaker cards because I believe that shaman has the all basis except card draw for any deck. Ancestral Knowledge was a perfect card before, I hope they made a card like that for shaman again.
I agree. The cards they had in Kobolds for Totem synergy were way too slow. Maybe it is the hero power, but I feel like they would have pitched a new idea if the power was really that bad. Baku is too slow the way it is right now, but if it was not only for odd cards, it would be ridiculously broken. Ancestral knowledge was helpful. It's faster than Mana Tide Totem.

Totems are hard to balance. On one end they're no good if you can't put a lot of them out quickly, but then if you do, it's almost always better to make a Bloodlust deck and just use them as zerg fuel. Mukla's Champion and thunderbluff valiant were kind of proof that 0/2 bodies are pretty lame but get stupidly broken when you can easily give them attack. In contrast, silverhand recruits always have a little attack so they're still useful when you don't have combo pieces but they have only 1 hp so removing them when the enemy gets greedy is not too hard. They don't heal eachother and come with natural taunt / spell damage either.
I think they need to just rework the hero power honestly.

Nothing. There's so much design space available that's untapped by team 5 I would be disgusted if they started reprinting cards already.

Good to see you are now performing your experiments on Decks rather than poor helpless maidens, Seath the Scaleless.

0 times. I regret not being around when GvG was in standard though, those cards always looked fun. I miss nexus champion saraad and justicar trueheart...

Jaraxus hero being a demon and affected by demon spells is a meme from the early days of hearthstone and is not to be taken seriously. Blizzard just likes the idea of jaraxus being countered by a 0-mana spell.

Losing call to arms, station and taurim is too much I would say. I think Greymane has potential for dudedin though

Frankly the more I consider either, the less likely I think they'd use either. Oh well, we'll know in a few weeks I guess.

Charge was a dumb ability anyway and proof-positive early hearthstone spent too much time borrowing from MtG and not enough time actually thinking about how their game mechanics were affected by it.

Why is it that the more complicated the card is to use effectively, the worse stats it has? Is the game ever going to be slow enough to warrant messing around with such a clunky 3-cost card? This is pack filler.

Question if the Mods or community can search it up. How does echo work with handbuffs? does each have the buffs, or just the first?

Unstable Evolution adds a copy of it to your hand that lasts until the end of your turn, so I imagine buffs are not retained as you are technically not getting the original card back in your hand.

CW will want odd-cost cards for the new 9-mana guy that upgrades your HP and aggro will keep using Kor-kron elite in the 4 mana slot. This card is fair, but that's not enough in standard.

Dude-adin may yet survive rotation with this. infinite 2-mana lost in the jungles has potential. However, not being able to play Call to arms will probably preclude paladin from using this card altogether.

posted a message on After the f..king rotation, I want pre-nerf Yogg-Saron back!!!

Pre-nerf yogg: Battlecry: Throw out everything that happened before this turn, uninstall the game, and flip a coin. If you guessed correctly you win.

If you want the old Yogg back just turn your monitor off on turn 10 and flip a coin. Tell yourself if you won or lost based on that and let people who actually enjoy playing the game play the game.

posted a message on Does anyone else feel that Dude Paladin is toxic?

Dudeadin is counterable, but this meta has moved to it's final stages before the next expansion (as does EVERY meta-cycle) where the top tier decks make it utterly impossible to do well with any deck that isn't pumping out broken synergies turn after turn.

That's just how the meta moves. We have a month or so to go and then the meta will change again and it all changes. I'm ok with letting paladin have a good time for a while, especially since I do have decks that deal with them pretty well if I really feel like I need to win for some reason.

posted a message on What emotes would you want?

it doesn't matter because most people only say "hi" or nothing until they're fairly certain they've won, then it's 24/7 BM.

No one actually uses it to enjoy the company of the other player.
