Interesting hypothesis. I, however, am breezing through the ranks with the exact same list this season. The deck has a recorded winrate of about 68% on hsreplay.com. Do you have anything to back your words with?
Hey guys, it's January 9th here [almost 10th] and the leaderboards are not yet published. Am I missing something here? Is this month's leaderboards supposed to be delayed? Anyone know what the deal is?
I was going to mention that this deck is based on his list, but I believe he ran double Rallying Blade and double Keeper of Uldaman. Also, I'm not taking credit for any of the deck building, I'm sure many people have seen this deck before so there's no innovation here what so ever. The only thing I was trying to promote was the ridiculous winrate and how easily it got me to legend. I'm sorry if I've caused any confusion.
Well, I do have to admit I got quite lucky when I hit that 81% winrate, and I suppose the winrate for an average draw would be somewhere between 70 ~ 65% which is STILL quite a lot in my opinion.
Second copy of Keeper of Uldaman or one copy of Consecration in order to make the mirror matchups more in your favor. You can also play a Loatheb. Although sub-par, they both kinda serve the same purpose. You play Loatheb on a board you deem threatening enough for your opponent, and they will most likely not be able to deal with your minions right away and you just win the game in the following turn. It's a matter of personal preference really. Let me know how it works out for you.
I myself am kinda getting sold on Unidentified Maul to be honest, the thing is though, unlike its Standard counterpart, this deck focuses on maintaining board control through a swarm of tempo minions, whereas with the Standard version, you have tons of weapons. Many lists run 2x Unidentified Maul, 2x Rallying Blade AND a Val'anyr on top of that. I simply don't think this deck can afford to cut literally ANY card in place of a weapon without damaging its overall consistency. I might just sub the Maul for the Blade, but I'm not entirely sure about that at the moment.
I play on the Asia server, I'd be glad to share any knowledge I may have in my possession (Jeez, Gandalf much?).
It's also noteworthy to say that N'zoth's power can increase only so much, as you can bring back at most 6 minions at once and you can fit a limited amount of Deathrattle minions in your deck.
Hey there, I'd like to change my name to "Jetstream", if that is not available, I'd like to change it to either "J3tstream" or "J3tstre4m" in that order. Thanks in advance, and happy new year.
I don't know of any YouTube vids, but there's this guy Jesse "ControlTheBoard" on Twitch. He plays Wild quite a lot and I've found his stream to be very informative and fun. That should be a good start for now.
Also, Naxxramas in my view is a really great adventure. A really huge portion of the great Deathrattle minions is from that expansion. I don't think you could go wrong buying that, but then again it's a matter of personal choice.
"Loatheb" can be collected from the Naxxramas adventure, don't worry about him.
I myself am an F2P player, bought everything with gold and stuff, so it's kinda hard for me to let go of the cards I tried so hard for. I suggest you not disenchant your Wild cards in the future either, the regret is simply too huge once you let it sink in.
You're sacrificing control matchups a bit by taking that out, on the other hand, however, Aggro Paladin DOES, in fact, make up most of the wild ladder at the moment. One Consecration might not actually be the worst idea, you COULD also tech in one Dirty Rat, insane value with Call to Arms and since it's a mirror matchup, you're pretty much guaranteed it'll bring out a little guy most of the time should you ever be forced to play it. Let me know how it goes though I'd appreciate any insight.
As for the mulligans, you'd generally want to mulligan for a good "curve" rather than trying to get all of your 1s and 2s at once (Or at least that's how I mulliganned). You keep Call to Arms every time, if you're going second you also keep one copy of Corridor Creeper. If you KNOW for a fact that you're against a heavy control deck, you might want to consider keeping a Divine Favor as well. Other than that, you're looking for Ship's Cannon, Shielded Minibot, Knife JugglerCard Name, Righteous Protector. Though as I said, try to go for a perfect curve rather than every low-cost card in your deck. For example, if you managed to get a good enough 1-drop, then you may as well keep your Muster for Battle and/or Southsea CaptainCard Name. Against Warlocks, you might also want to consider keeping either Keeper of Uldaman or Sunkeeper Tarim (but not both at the same time), because they're Voidlords can single-handedly pluck those precious wins from under you and since I couldn't afford to run Spellbreakers, those guys I mentioned will have to do.

That doesn't mean they don't release the leaderboards, does it? I mean aside from HCT points, there's top Arena players and stuff.

Sure, just run Loatheb or a second copy of Keeper of Uldaman. Consecration also seems to be looking like a good tech card, Spellbreaker is another quite solid option.
