Hey everyone! I recently had an interest in trying Recruit Hunter but I prefer Wild and am having a bit of trouble trying to adapt the archetype for Wild. Specifically in which Standard cards to remove and which Wild cards to add. I have no deck list to share as I'm swapping cards around and haven't really landed on a combination of 30 cards that I love and I'm open to a lot of suggestions.
Just looking to get some card ideas from other people.
I've been wondering this same thing myself. The only things I can think of are Barnes, and maybe Feign Death ( but you can't run Keleseth with it), as well as Kel'Thuzad, Ragnaros the Firelord, or maybe Sneed's Old Shredder. Adding any of those three makes a top heavy deck even more top heavy though.
I think the Secret package might be better in wild than the Keleseth build maybe? Secrets really help out Hunter's early game, and Freezing Trap is pretty nice against Warlock and Priest. I'd honestly have to test stuff out
I tend to prefer the secret package myself, not because I think it's stronger than Keleseth but I just happen to find them more useful. By the way, I completely forgot that Feign Death existed! I may replaced Play Dead with that. The deck may lose some power with that change but it'll give it more of a "Wild" feel.
It's hard to fit new Wild cards AND Secrets AND the Spellstone AND Kathrena AND enough beasts to make Kathrena worth the card slot... Also if you drop Kathrena, King's Elekk is now playable, which is worth considering I think!
Heya guys, I actually published a recruit hunter list in K&C that proved to be a meta breaker at the time. It did indeed run the secret package and I just recently updated the guide for it with Witchwood cards. It's definitely not as heavy as the standard version but I'll probably work on making something like that in the near future.

Here's the list I've been messing around with so far, without the Kathrena/beast package. Charged Devilsaurs are still in though because they can be recruited from Vanguard.

With all the good 8-drops in Wild I'm actually trying out a version without Kathrena Winterwisp, King Krush, or the Grizzlies. Blasphemous, I know, but instead I'm trying two Silver Vanguards instead, with the Ragnaros the Firelord and Kel'Thuzad.

this decklist might be your best bet, OP.
