Havent posted here in a while. Today was a good day:
My fellow Reno Mage build vs Malchezaar BSM Mage-Im 5 card deeper into fatique. Make my classical value Brann+Kazakus+Manic Soulcaster combo but what is happening? My Opponent havent removed my Brann??? Immediate punish! I played Janalai next turn and coined out another Kazakus. Opponent was so busy removing my Ragnaroses he left Brann utouched so I could make another 2 Kazakus potions. So overall in this game: My Reno was Dirty Rated, his Malchezaar legendaries were nutty: (Like Malacrass,Rhonin,Tinkmaster etc), he drew trou8gh whole his deck naturally without any card draw and with my help. From my side there were 6 Kazakus Potions,5 Ragnaroses(from Brann, original Ragnaros and ressurection effects). It felt good playing that game
My beloved Reno Mage against Renolock- Imagine you finally met someone who has actually strategy card games abbilities. Thats when you know you will have a good matchup. This Renolock burned 1/5 ouf my deck trough Gnomeferatu and Brann shennanigans. That included my Jaina and Reno. I still beat him somehow because I had my Brann+Kazakus+Manic Soulcaster plan and I had my Mill Fatique plan in form of Coldlight and Research Project. The game was intense but I've managed to pull out a win.
If there is any chance that my opponents are reading this: Thank you guys. You reminded me why I still play this game)
Nothing too special, just a very long game where I managed to completely grind out a Big Priest and let fatigue kill him. Funny thing is, Kazakus was the 2nd last card in my deck, here's the whole thing if someone wants to see it: https://hsreplay.net/replay/BvtygGa8oGTvREfQ2d3VXT
I topdecked Reno on 5 life this morning, Hunter opponent with a devilsaur on the board, and he had just switched to DK. Somehow I managed to blow up his deck with Rin (always weird when it happens against Hunter). For some reason that win was very satisfying.
I just went from insanely tilted to 100% funny mode. I played deathrattlehunter vs odd paladin. I alt f4-ed when he played his 2nd tarim, that he discovered from blazing invocation, which he got from witch cauldron. Then the tilted me thought, gotta log back in to waste some of his time.
As i logged back in he played the shaman legendary spell and got duskfallenaviana. i had 3 cards left. beeing king crush, cube and playdead. (he had 24 hp LOL)
btw i think he wouldn't have played that spell, if he didn't think i was afk (outplayed i guess? :D).
It feels so good to defeat a Hunter using his own brokeback build-a-beast against him. You want to Dire Frenzy your 7/8 poisonous rush minion? Ok, fine by me. I'll just choose Mechathun from my Dr. Boom Select-a-Mech, blow through my cards, and kill Mechathun on your poison minion. Take a walk with that degenerate Hunter deck. Poggers.
I got oakheart out of my free packs, it was quite a pleasant surprise and I always wanted him and i feel good about saying goodbye to yet another year of hearthstone.
2) Second pepper is me outplaying a Mecha'thun druid in standard.
So before I continue, I will say that I'm not one of those people who play "perfectly" every single game/turn and get wrecked by lucky opponents. While it's true, that I'm trying to make optimal plays, sometimes I don't predict how the opponent would play next and get punished.
Anyway, I had a really good start against this Mecha'thun druid. By turn 6 I put them at 11 health and I would have killed them, if I had at least one minion after the board wipe. I couldn't generate enough pressure (my draws were really weak) and the druid continued to gain armour like crazy. At one moment they played Gadgetzan Auctioneer and started cycling. When they reached the very last card of their deck, I noticed, that they still haven't played their second Spellstone. I reminded myself the famous RegisKillbin video, where he wrecked a mecha'thun player, and I decided to pull off almost the same trick. I was surprised, that my opponent made this mistake - I can assure you, that they had the second spellstone in their hand all along. They just didn't play it. So I killed the last Auctioneer they had on the board (it was also their last minion, if we exclude the 10-drop), I made sure my board was clean and I HP'd and passed. The druid understood immediately their mistake and that they would lose to fatigue if they didn't play anything, so they finally played Mecha'thun. And I was prepared:
The druid player conceded shortly after.
Man, it feels really good to outplay your opponent.
Got a Kingsbane in my free packs, and I gotta say, I am LOVING the new deck builder. I’m just sticking a few legendaries I really haven’t played much of and letting the game build the rest, and it’s spitting out fun, viable decks every time. Loving HS again since they brought it in.

I wasn't planning on going for a run today. But those cops came out of nowhere.
Remember how I was happy to reach Rank 5 ? Well, I'm here right now, I guess I will try for LEGEND this month ! The playing level in here (5 -> L) is so much higher than below, that I think I improved my plays a lot. :)
That's what games should be: fun, some misplays (see first Mountain Giant removed) and again fun.
I played the whole game without worrying about winning or losing: the only thing I wanted was having fun and getting all the value I could out of the cards I got (maybe the third Alexstrasza at the end might be considered BM, as a friend of mine told me, but that wasn't my intention at all).
Since yesterday I didn't have time to do my daily, I had 2 quests today. They were both 60g quests, Hunter or Druid dominance and the draw 30 cards quest. So, I went with quest Hunter. Not only did I do the quests, I went undefeated all the way to Rank 5 from Rank 8 AND got my golden Rexxar portrait in the meantime AND the last game (vs a Rush Warrior) was everything I like in HS: a fierce battle for board control from start to finish.
I couldn't find the pack popper thread so I'll just post here, officially the best pack I opened since I started playing in 2014, beating the double leggo pack (I don't really remember when and what cards, but I guess a couple months ago?), double leggo and a golden epic from the brawl pack :D I'm stoked
crap I just realized I don't know how to upload a video so I'll be lazy and post the reddit link where i bragged about it too
Their combo was ready, I played Spellbender to disrupt their Naturalize. They now had Mecha'thun out, and they still had a lot of health. I drew Leeroy Jenkins from naturalize, used it to give them minions and Big Game Hunter to destroy the Mecha'thun while it's deathrattle condition wasn't met.

Moving into https://outof.cards/members/firepaladinhs/decks
Thanks for reminding me of this deck, played it early in the expansion and then moved on to Tesspionage.
Been having some fun this afternoon with it.

My free 3 packs this morning netted me a DK Anduin. What a nice way to say goodbye to KotFT. Free packs are always junk usually.
Grammar is the difference between knowing your crap, and knowing you’re crap.

I got oakheart out of my free packs, it was quite a pleasant surprise and I always wanted him and i feel good about saying goodbye to yet another year of hearthstone.
I've got some peppers to share with you, guys:
1) A casual game, where I'm playing my beloved Steal Priest against a Shudderwock Jade Shaman:
In this game I managed to get a copy of Aya Blackpaw from a Crystalline Oracle, resurrected her with N'Zoth, the Corruptor and Twilight's Call and Entomb'ed the real one. At one moment I felt forced to cast Lightbomb, so I played Dirty Rat and it pulled the jaws that bite and the claws that catch.

That feeling when in a Paladin Arena game you Blast Wave a Mage and seal out the game with a Pyroblast.
To be great is to be misunderstood.

SPOILER ALERT
Honorable mentions: Sindragosa, War Master Voone, Griftah, Shudderwock (which turns out to be pretty good in Warrior), Explore Un'Goro (you'll laugh at this one when you'll see it) and many more.
Crazy game, a lot of fun and memes. Best game in the last 3 months for sure.
Have a good time y'all!

Ranked game wins per class (26/Dec/2018): Druid - 457; Hunter - 482; Mage - 345; Paladin - 435; Priest - 295; Rogue - 234; Shaman - 430; Warlock - 419; Warrior - 367
I really should update my signature more often...

Super happy to beat a mage burn deck in wild casual with a (really) crappy reno hunter. Man good times.
I was facing a Mecha'thun Druid as Mage.
Their combo was ready, I played Spellbender to disrupt their Naturalize.
They now had Mecha'thun out, and they still had a lot of health.
