I hate cubelock's I really really do..and now from next month onwards they will probably take a huge percentage of the ladder it's going to be horrible. And the most horrible thing is I hate mirror matches even more. So no way I'll jump on the bandwagon
What's the point of going on ladder with your super awesome cubelock to face of other super awesome cubelocks to see who gets there super awesome doomguard out earlier 7 out of 10 matches.
Or is there something I'm missing.. please say I miss something here.
>Doesn't like cubelock because the odds are in favor of the stronger netdeck
>Doesn't like mirror matches because odds are in favor of the stronger player
Ok buddy, maybe Blizzard will just sell you the "Victory" screen gif with the audio and you can just play it on repeat on your other monitor.
Lol I'm currently rank 4 with my homebrew Pala variant. Pissed off at every netdeck warlock and netdeck raza I meet. Giving them a well played after beating the shit out of them.
Thing I don't like about mirror matches is that you know what the other one is playing he knows it and on equal skill it often comes down to who drew the key cards faster..and at rank 5 to legend I just take it as a given that people know how to navigate a cubelock..
And now the variety of netdecks I'm facing shrinks from maybe 6-7 down to 2-3..that's my only concern..it'll get boring as hell
Cubelock is one of those decks that look super good on paper and interesting. After a while though the playstyle becomes super repetitive. Also and this is just to do with me personally, I don't want the average game length to increase which it will if warlock becomes as prevalent as people think it will.

Tbh I've been doing decently well against Cubelock as, well, another Warlock, specifically Krulzakas. Before you get angry, though, it's not only a lot more fun, and not as cancerous.
Nerfing patches and corridor creeper, 2 main cards for aggro decks, they ve made cubelock more powerful, 'cause aggro decks were the only counter to that deck. Anyway, i think Mill Rogue will see more play as a natural counter to all control decks and now it hasn t the problem to deal with some aggro deck, natural mill rogue counters

What exactly is your issue when facing Cubelocks? Because if you just say you don't like them without any reasoning behind it, it is basically pointless and doesn't give any context for people to help you.
If you don't want help and simply created this to vent frustration, then let me know, I'll just report this since venting frustration is what the Salt Thread was created for, specially if it is pure venting and no interest in constructive discussion.
Read my comment a bit further up.. shrinking variety of netdecks when one is super powerful and games against cubelocks are not only extremely long and in my personal opinion rather boring it although comes down to who draws key cards faster in mirror matches..so in general I just fear the next month will be super boring..and then blizzard will get the nerf bat out killing it.. super unnecessary. And predictable course of events
I love farming cube lock. I don't see the problem. I am more worried about big priest. I wish they would have nerfed barnes somehow also. Either a 1/1 of a 6 Mana or less minion or something like that.
I believe his issue with Cubelock, is similar to that of Barnes Priest. Although far less toxic, both feature extreme mana cheating mechanics which as a whole are generally not healthy for the game.

Exactly this..I couldn't have put it in better words.
Did you say no way to beat warlock? Miracle rogue with sap. These nerfs make hearthstone playable again. No 30 dmg raza bullshit and creepers and patches yessssssssssssss
I'm over the moon right now. My Spiteful Priest is 14-3 against warlock. People are complaining but teching against warlock is so much easier. Spellbreakers, oozes, and if you really want to be an asshole, a Geist lol. If you maintain tempo with huge threats via the Summoners, the loss of tempo a Geist incurs is irrelevant.

This, most of the tech cards that are good right now are good against all the top decks in the meta.
Don't worry cubelock won't be a thing... It doesn't need that, it doesn't need giants, it doesn't need doomguards, that was all for the priest match-up, so it'll go back to disgusting and even more boring controlock, this is the meta you all were begging for and noe you have it, enjoy seeing only controlock and jade druid every game.

What's wrong with control warlock?

+ cube lock is IMO super boring, its just who gets the key cards faster. no way to beat warlock now after nerf release
Exodia mage time

I agree, cubelock will become almost invencible, will tech Dirty Rat and Geist for Exodia and Jade druid and that is it.
The ladder will become 97,85% warlocks, brace yourselfs, the darkness is coming.

There's still hope for Doomguard rotating to Hall of Fame....or follow-up nerfs if the game escalates to cubestone.
Maybe Hunter decks can rise again now that all the Neutral Tempo decks took a dropkick to the nuts
I tried having fun once. It was awful.

Warlock is cool, but everybody playing 3 decks is not. The boiis whining about rock-paper-scissors will now experience the true meaning of this.
Top deck is cheat
