As of today I have 4 golden heroes (Mage,Pally,Rogue,Warlock) and would like to start farming the 5th,the problem is that I can't get myself to play the other classes so I'd like you guys to tell me why you enjoy playing your favourite Deck/Class... Below just some other random info about me....
If I like a Deck I play it.It doesn't matter if it's Tier 0 or completely gimmick ... It's the same for the Decks I dislike... It doesn't matter if they're broken if I don't like them I don't even take them into account (Yesterday I opened The Caverns Below and I'm thinking about DE it to craft a second Tortollan Primalist or Meteor)...
I play Wild as much as Standard...
I absolutely loathe any kind of Deck that requires you to vomit your hand onto the board so any kind of Aggro/Zoo Deck is excluded...
The Decks that got me my other golden heroes were Freeze Mage,Control Paladin,Miracle Rogue and Handlock so the higher the learning curve is the more fun I have playing the Deck...
Some Decks I'd love to hear more about are:
Control Warrior: I think Warrior is the coolest looking golden hero and since I'm someone that loves Decks full of fatties I feel like I should love this Deck but instead I find it awfully boring... I even crafted Fire Plume's Heart soon after the expansion was released but after 3 games I was already bored to death by the Deck... I simply loathe Armor Up! since it can't interact with the board and hate the fact that weapons are your primary way of killing minions (i.e. I need to get rid of another minion but there's a stupid Stoneclaw Totem in the way and I have basically no other cheap removal outside FWA/DB)...
Ramp Druid: I feel like this would be the perfect Deck for me,but Druid lacks so much in AOE and hard removal that it discourages me from playing the class....
Dragon/Control Priest:I'm a Dragon lover so I wouldn't have problem playing that Deck but I find it too linear... You just need to play stuff on curve,I don't find that fun.... As for Control, removing everything my opponent puts on the board and pissing them off to no end with Priest's stuff would be fun but the Deck seems to lack a win condition and fatigue battles aren't my cup of tea.... Edit: Since someone mentioned the cards,I just can't stand Divine Spirit/Inner Fire shenanigans so anything running that as win condition isn't something I'd play...
Well that's all from me,now it's your turn to "convince" me that I'm wrong and that other classes are fun as well....
P.S. Yes I know I'm a terribly picky person that is almost impossible to satisfy, please try to bear with me....
My favourites are Renolock and other control Warlocks, because of what I like to call the time window aspect. Your hand is often full of game winning threats that you can't play because your opponent would kill you, so you end up just trying to not die while trying to find those microscopic time windows to regain the board control. The point is, there are often no such times, there are just times at which you are a bit less likely to die if you don't answer the opponent's threats. Still you have no other choice than to take a risk and play a threat and clear the opponent's board next turn instead of immediately. The most obvious example is Lord Jaraxxus, as you can't play him and clear the opponent's board on the same turn. This strategy creates a very high skill floor.

I used to have the same issue. I suggest stuffing in more synergies, for example running two Armorsmiths (and Acolytes of Pain and Sleep with Fishes) to have a more synergistic early game and coming up with a theme for the late game. I for example run a few dragons and the Curator in my late game package but no mid game dragon synergies, which is working reasonably well. For the weapon issue, two Slams and Bashes + ping and whirlwind effects.
Priest is really fun to play right now. Dragon priest used to be a very linear deck, but I'm running Lyra and Inner Fire and that makes the deck very different, discovering cards also helps making games different from each other.
Miracle Priest is a new deck that's extremely fun to play. In wild I'm currently running some sort of aggro priest which relies on making huge minions with Divine Spirits, Velens Choice and Inner Fire, its working nice and its different from any deck I played before.
If you play wild and are looking to get a new golden hero portrait, then you might like my Patron Alchemist Warrior. The game plan is to fight for board control, whittle your opponents down with Grim Patron, and finish them off with Grommash Hellscream + Crazed Alchemist + Inner Rage. Blood To Ichor is a good card to swap for Hungry Crab or Golakka Crawler if you need to tech against either tribe.

Hmm this looks interesting... I've always thought Patron Warrior would fit me but never actually gave the Deck a shot... How about Emperor Thaurissan and Alexstrasza for a more reliable finisher? The thought of consistently having problems with Priests pisses me off already...

I think the deck has enough card draw for a consistent win condition, but sometimes it's necessary to break the Grom + Alchemist combo to win the game. I really like the idea of adding Alexstrasza to the deck, and it will make your games more reliable against priest (especially with discounted Arcane Giants). I have mixed feelings about Emperor. The discount will make clearing the board with Wild Pyro + Commanding Shout + spells/card draw more efficient, but I don't think you will see many games where it affects your win condition.
I agree with you though, Priest just has too many tools to counter everything this deck has. The Patrons can't hit the board until Excavated Evil / Dragonfire / Lightbomb are ready to see play, and the priest minions aren't easily cleared by the damage this deck has. That being said, this is most effective as a means to counter aggro. I had difficulty with murlocs at first (usually due to inefficient use of my removal), but I no longer have a problem with them. If pirate warrior has the wet dream mulligan, it is too fast (Golakka Crawler might make the difference, but so far PW isn't frequent enough for me to include the tech). Other common aggro decks like zoo lock, aggro shaman, just about any hunter, are the bread and butter for this deck. Handlock is slightly favored against this deck, but they usually don't expect the 17 burst damage from the Grom/Alchemist combo, so they usually set up your win condition for you through their own hero power.
Edit: I used to include 2 copies of Battle Rage (before the year of the mammoth, this was a standard deck), but swapped those out for Death's Bite after the rotation. It is another decent card to include, depending on the adjustments you want to make.
At the moment it's Shaman. Spirit Echo is cool. Lot of fun, doesn't play solitaire, doesn't have many super polarizing match-ups, and doesn't win by rolling 200 random discovers, effects, or Rag flips per game.
Probably Midrange Pally cause I haven't played Paladin in months prior to this expansion, and a lot of the new tools we've gotten are very fun to play and are very versatile. Plus you can go the usual Midrange style or use Murlocs.
I suggest trying a Crusher Shaman variant. Really the only thing the decks have in common is the Earth Elemental + Ancestral Spirit + Faceless Manipulator combo. The rest of it leaves plenty open to playing around with it and making it your own.
And people never see it coming for some reason. Entomb is out of standard so very few classes have effects that can clear it without triggering the deathrattle.
I absolutely love Priest and Mage. Before Un'Goro hit, Dragon Priest was my favorite deck to play as I'm a huge fans of dragons. Of course it was also a good fun deck for me that wasn't too difficult to play, I even threw Nefarian in there for more fun. Now I play my overly ridiculous Thief Priest, which has led to my stupidest victories such as the one time I used Mind Vision to get Megafin. As for my mage decks, most have been secret and spell generation decks. These days I'm climbing ladder with Elemental Mage. If you want to check out the Thief Priest and have some fun in casual, here is the decklist. Should warn you that it has the unconventional Madam Goya in it.

Modern dragon priest isn't nearly as linear as the MSG curvestone stuff. It's a real control deck now rather than a tempo deck because of all the tempo minions that rotated out. If you tried it in Kraken and didn't like it, you should give it another go now
I used to love control priest with no win condition but those aren't really viable now with all the jades and quests running around. I recently experimented with using C'thun as a win condition but didn't get much success yet. Maybe you can try building on this idea
A big problem with all priest decks in Ungoro is the predominance of Primordial drakes in the meta. Be prepared to get beat up by these if you're looking to try priest this month
Druid has Primordial drake and Yogg for AOE. Yogg also acts as hard removal and I've seen some decks run one copy Naturalize. Druid is much stronger in wild because the availability of mulch, living roots and spellpower swipe. If you don't mind wild, I highly recommend Maly Kun druid. It's one of my all time favorite decks to play
As for control warrior... I think it's a bit late to enjoy it now. Quest warrior is a shade of what control warrior used to be
My favorite classes are Priest, Rogue and Hunter. For Priest I have a wild thief Priest, but I'm missing lots of cards so I usually only play it for quests. For Rogue I have a wild Miracle deck that's pretty much done, but I don't really like miracle all that much for some reason. The deck I most enjoy and climb with and the one I've refined the most is my own Token Hunter deck, I think you can find it in my profile. It's a lot of fun to get comboes with starving buzzard and deathrattles that spawn beasts or cards like Alleycat, and also using Tundra Rhino with the deathrattles. There's a few cards I'm missing like a second Rat Pack, but so far I've gotten to rank 9 with it (my personal record so far). It requires a lot of strategy and thinking and is a hunter deck that doesn't just vomit the hand, so i recommend trying it out.

CCGing since '98.
Sadly, I'm hooked on greedy control Priest. Probably why you see me in the salt thread so much.
