Mage, yes, personal experience with rogue. No. It takes WAYYYY too much effort to get the same minion played 4 times. And unnatural feeling. Shaman, play murlocs - cool, easy! Druids, play monsters over 5 attack - sweet! Warlock, discard cards - easy! Mage, play random spells not in your deck - was doing that anyway! Hunter, play 7 1-cost creatures - quest is done by turn 4, wicked! Paladins, buff your minions - was already doing that! Priests, play deathrattle minions - done deal! Then Rogues, play a minion with the same name 4 times, I have to dedicate at least 1/3 of my deck in order to make this happen in a timely fashion. I am not amused to be honest.

quest rogue is the new cancer, and instead of trying all my new cards and quests i had to spend the whole day trying to find a quest rogue counter...
wtf blizzard, this is so ridiculous... they usually finish the quest by turn 4 or 5 and then you got maximum 2 turns to kill them before you're dead...
only sucessful counter so far is pirate warrior... and if i have to play this cancer shit i might as well quit... purify priest sometimes works to some extent, so i'm probably gonna try to refine this deck... but srsly how did this quest get through internal testing??!

Yeah. I totally echo this. Mage Quest (even with Ice Block) and Warrior Quest even with tauntfest probably need to lose 3 Quest requirements each, or give Rogue a fifth play for theirs.
They just did it with fireflys and the elemental that gives 2 when it dies. Bounced a minion once and quest was complete. Real balance.
Ya, but you have to get SUPER lucky to pull the one/two card you need out of 30 with the one/two cards you need to bounce it back. I know, because I got unlucky most the time lol.

The standard deck runs 2 brewmasters ? is that that much dedication? and most of them completed it fairly early against me with shadowsteps.
You need brewmasters, possibly ferryman, mimic, maybe shadowcaster, and shadowstep. So if I carry 2 of each that is 10 cards or 1/3 of my deck to complete the stupid quest. When in a normal deck I would not carry any of those except shadowcaster lol. And you also want 1-2 preparations which is another 1-2 cards, all devoted to this stupid quest that if you didn't get any throwback cards in your opening hand, you will lose. Especially if they are aggro.

Where are you guys ranked at exactly? I am not having the issue with rogues you are. In fact I have played a wide variety minus hunters. Hunters are the bane of my existence right now. You complain about rogues have quest completed in 5-6 turns? Hunters have it down in like 3-4...

almost every Rogue I've met so far has the quest done by turn 3 at the very latest. If you've been lucky enough against them - more power to you, but I have never been this frustrated against a class before, neither Dragon priest nor Pirate Warrior.
Also, people kept claiming that Disclock would be so OP, sooooo goood - they were wrong. I can hardly win even one match out of ten!
the problem is that you can still win vs hunter because its pretty easy to remove 3/2s but its pretty hard to remove 1-3 5/5s or do anything vs a 5/5 with charge that gets played over and over again.

you only need 2x Fire Fly, 2x Shadowstep and 2x Igneous Elemental to complete that quest lthe rest of the stuff is pretty much bonus, i run 2x Gadgetzan Ferryman because the stats help me against aggro and 2x Mimic Pod but Pod is just a nice thing to have.

I get what you're saying, I do. But I tried that deck and one out of 5 times did I actually draw the cards needed for that, plus he makes you wait a turn because he has to die. There's better cards in general to use.

I have been running Elemental Jade Shaman and have been having great success! Very rarely do I have a problem activating my elementals. Mainly because of Igneous Elemental.
Then I dusted a few things to make Elise Trailblazer and made a Control Priest deck. Using shadow visions and discovering the Un'Goro pack is really fun. I have played this deck only a few times and also won the majority. Have to play it a lot more to refine. I don't have Lyra yet so I know I still need her but the deck still seems to work without her but would obviously be much much better.
It's certainly different, but all I'm seeing so far in just about every deck is the game is now a race to see who can get OTK first. I mean you just bounce cards back and forth, and whoever gets their quest completed first gets OTK (maybe 2TK). It's completely changed the base goal of the game. Now, that might be cool.......but personally always hated OTK's......both using them and getting them used on me. I don't think there has ever been an expansion that has so utterly upended the meta.
