Always, ALWAYS craft the Neutral class card. You can use it in multiple decks and classes. That principle aside, Zilliax is one of the few life gain cards in the deck.
Did an update to the Overwatch legendary cards I had made before. Some of the Mechanics are from the last rotation but wanted to share anyway as I will probably revise these again. Enjoy!
Card designs only are mine, **none of the artwork is mine. Full credits go to the original artists.. thank you to all of them!**
This looks like it took a lot of effort so kudos for that. Torbjorn and Symmetra seem a bit overpowered.
You might want to alter Roadhog's write up because as it stands right now I can't figure out what he does. If you meant to make him similar to Swamp King Dred with the difference being that you get to choose an opponent's minion to attack him(if I am getting what you meant him to do right) you could write "Choose an opponent minion to give Charge, it attacks this minion" . Have in mind that Battlecry was meant as a mechanic that can't target the minion itself but other minions.
Hi, thank you for the support!
I'll take another look at it when I do my second round and spells. But I was thinking the mechanics were more similar to Darkspeaker in the sense that the Battlecry isn't targeting itself. The only target is the enemy minion, and it's just forced to attack. Just like if you Potion of Madness a minion that was played last turn, it can still attack, it doesn't need Charge.
Thank you for the kind words! It's a trigger similar to Wretched Tiller, so he gains the +2 Health before the damage numbers kick in. He'd survive attacking a minion with 4 Attack.

All 25 Overwatch Heroes featured here. They are still a work in progress. I only put one Hero per Class for the moment but as I work on them I'll double up and put two per class, while leaving the rest Neutral. Spells coming soonish.

Hey didn't see this before. It's meant to overwhelm with Nourish, Wild Growth, Novice Engineer. You're often in a situation where you need to spend mana to reload your hand. Having the quest triggered means you don't wait an extra turn/ take additional damage before regaining board presence.
Tired of the same old Shaman deck? Even better, tired of getting annoying Shaman quests because it's so boring to play?! Then this is the deck for you! I think!
I'm not a fan of Shaman... I barely understand the mechanics of it to be honest. BUT, this deck is hella fun to play and has me on a nifty little win streak in Wild.
Not going to do any type of write-up for the moment because again, I don't know Shaman well, and B, I just threw it together. I'm sure there are better cards and things that I'm missing but this is my take on it! I can only imagine if I had Unite the Murlocs, it would crazy. There are a few Shaman cards that looked cool but I didn't want to use my dust up.
Feel free to make suggestions and comments. This deck might actually persuade me to become a Shaman player... maybe. At the very least craft some cards to give it a real shot at Rank 5+.
I think Primordial Drake is a great card! My only concerns with running it were the low attack value and the fact that damages your own minions. Often when you're dropping big minions turn after turn you are trading off with one until you have numbers, except in the case of a turn 2 or 3 Alexstrasza. There are plenty of games where I have an 8 health minion alive 2 turns later after some trades at 1 or 2 health. I'm not saying it's a bad choice though, why don't you give it a try and let me know how it turns out?! :D
I have a version with Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound that I played last season (picture below). It took me to rank 10 I believe, before I switched to a more traditional/consistent deck. In the past I've played Astral at ranks 6+ and done alright with it. But at those ranks you're up against decks that do work every time, very efficient. Astral used to be more of a "roll the dice kind of deck".
I haven't started grinding with this new version yet, but just looking at what's available, and having Jungle Giants, Earthen Scales, Moonglade Portal, it's never been stronger in my opinion. I'll keep everyone posted.
Bog Creeper is a really great value card, but in Astral, just use the more powerful versions like Ironbark Protector. You will be top decking them or drawing into them when you have full mana so make sure when you drop a minion its high-impact.
Concerning Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound, you can run that archetype but my initial feeling was to go this route. If I did make a build with him I would cut out the 2XSludge Belcher and possibly swap the 2XNovice Engineer for 2XWrath. The reason is if I'm going to run him, and risk losing all of my juicy battlecry effects, I want to ensure it hits my quest counter a minimum... actually reading the text I'm not even sure it does that. It says "put" not "summon" :O
I think Tyrantus is a great card, but in my opinion it's a "win more" type of card in most situations. He doesn't have an immediate effect when he hits the board, and he doesn't have a deathrattle benefit. Yes, he's a powerhouse but he won't swing a game for you. Remember, with the Astral Archetype you're top-decking early. Against an aggressive deck, you really want to top-deck into a board-clear, or more likely a taunt minion.
For example, if you're facing a pirate deck, or aggro shaman, or murloc anything, they already have 6+ attack at a minimum on the board by turn 2-3 when you Astral. If you top deck into Tyrantus, you can do 12 damage next turn yes, but you still need 3 attacks to win, and they've developed their board to 10+ attack at a minimum and you're dead before your last swing.
It's different schools of thought, I'm not a pro player lol, so I'm always open to learning myself. This is just my experience as someone that has been playing Astral Druid forever. I think this is the most competitive the deck has ever been.

I'd swap out Soggoth the Slitherer and Ancient of War to try it. They have the same general fuction of "big taunt minion". OR you can try dropping the deathrattle mechanics and swapping out Sylvanas Windrunner, Sneed's Old Shredder and N'Zoth for 2 drakes and an Ironbark Protector. Although you'd lose a late-game finisher in N'Zoth.
