    I think there's too much snowballing and battlecries leaving permanent buffs in general, Brann just amplifies that problem. Plus unlike Rivendare he's uncounterable because his ability is only relevant during assembly phase.

    Picking counters and constructing synergies is only relevant in early to mid game, after that game shifts into contest of whoever finds the most buffs for their already established board. Divine shield/poisonous combo does feel like a cheap shot in the end.

    Shit I hate and why game balance is ass rn:

    1. Most tribes have 1 or 2 core cards you build around while cycling everything else. If you don't find the core in time it's game over.
    2. Too many snowballs. Once your minion(s) got few buffs it's too punishing to sell them and switch up your tactic so you're just hard locked on your board and spam refresh for even more buffs.
    3. Not enough tech/counter minions. Zapp and Ghoul are the only thing I'd consider a counter tech but the latter is almost useless from mid game because Taunt doesn't allow you to time your 1 dmg ping as you wish (preferably to punish tokens).

    I think I'm gonna quit now since I don't play regular HS and I burned my saved up gold from since I played on dragon packs to unlock perks, only to lose them yesterday (was it even mentioned perks are not permanent expansion announcement)?

    For me it would be enough if all tokens dealt 1 damage, regardless of what minion they actually are. Taking 6 damage after killing shredder is bullshit.

    Also rat pack needs to go, it's way too synergetic with all attack buffs and dealing up to 7 damage with 2 star card is not right.

    I don't know if it's something with snowballing or what, but I find a lot of games getting to around tier 5 then everyone starts bombing eachother for 20+ dmg a turn, even fights are really rare in the late game right now.

    So if you magnetize normal egg and make it golden 16/16 dino pops out first? Since magnetized buff is carried over onto a card in your hand, but then egg is played last.

    One game I got 2 rat packs and spent next 4 turns only pressing tier up until I was 6. You pretty much can't lose early/early mid game unless enemy has a rat pack as well.

    Other game I went mechs and wiped floor clean for 40 hp victory. Replicating menace is a menace when your tokens deal total of 12 dmg instead of 3. Additionally eggs can run into enemies without any buff.

    I have this lingering feeling of Rat Pack being broken in general, especially as far as synergies go. But right now it's the only card carrying early beast builds so removing/replacing it with something else would be quite tricky as far as balancing goes.

    Deathwing hero power is bold but Rat Pack scaling is off the charts. I got 2 of them and spent next 4 rounds passively pressing tavern tier up while keeping a win streak.

    Herald of Flame Overkill ability triggers itself. It can literally wipe out entire board of tokens with 1 attack. Wow.

    Waxrider Togwaggle can grow a bit too fast when enemy tokens run into your dragons.

    Drakonid Enforcer is insane with new George.

    Beasts would be much stronger if they had a native taunt beast or at least something that drops taunt-tokens.

    And more options at 4 stars because there's only hydra which is often snatched by non-beast players, and Virmen Sensei is over-starred (due to hydra) buff garbage you want to cycle.

    To be honest there'd be nothing wrong with stealth as long as it's not a targetable buff.

    edit - it should just work similar to taunt: stealthed minions are attacked last, so there would be no weird stalemates when there's stealth minions mirror

    Problem is how reliable and snowball-ish his hero power is. A lot of the time he can just click hero power and power-upgrade tavern tier ahead of everyone without repercussions, even if he takes a tie or loss in mid game for being too cheeky it won't matter because stats gained from his HP last forever.

    Maybe limiting amount of buffed minions would force some tactic out of him? Right now he's picking his core uncontested and he's heavily discouraged from picking ANY tribe minions. If buff was limited to 4 or 5 units he'd have to build small side-tribe, or at least discard his early-game neutrals when he gets his end-game ones and don't want buff to "miss".

    Compared to beast builds? Not as much since you never want your pack leader or mama to get hit (and growing pack leader stats is impossible aside from hero powers so it's very often a 1 for 0 trade) and mech player actually want enemies to keep running into the Cobalt between shield refreshes.

    That hotfix was really lazy, with just a single change it was predictable that #1 archetype will be obliterated and #2 will take over.

    We need more card chanes, especially some love for beasts because they're way too unreliable/vulnerable to being sniped right now.
