Honestly, need some strong 1 and 2 cost minions. The legendary weapon doesn't need to be strong, but maybe we could use a draw spell on the cheap like Shiv, but for Hunter. Need some very strong 1-drop.
lol same thing happened when priest was shit and then they revealed purify. if history is to repeat itself we can expect hunter to be tier 1 in the next year.
I invested so many dust to hunter because i love playing it. But every expansion it is worse and worse... Every class is getting cards that fucks with hunter hardly and hunter alone always got shit cards... In last 2 expansions there are maybe snitched tracker and DK Rexar.. other cards are just bad.
wow, how is even possible that in so many years of Hearthstone, ppl still don't understand how healthy is for the game that aggro exist? It seems a simple concept to me, even if i'm a midrange player. And all this free insult to the intelligence of the aggro players make me sad. well, maybe they never tried the feeling of doing a bad move without comebacks cards that cover you.
Maybe the Dev team are working on a deck that draws a lot of minions, then uses controlling spells and secrets to fuel a Yogg or win the game with burst like this. So basically a degenerate Yogg Hunter with a little bit of control and Midrange. Nothing new then. I realise that after typing this, this has already basically been done...
I really think To My Side! will be a useful card at some point when there become more spells that summon minions. Maybe not tier 1, but a viable card to build decks around. here was my try at building a deck with what we currently have.
I had an epiphany earlier and this it the best place and time to share it. If you play a Recruit Hunter deck, soon, all of your minions will be in play or in your hand. So with that, To My Side! Is actually pretty good if you ask me.
You are right, it doesn't have to be the most amazing thing ever. But 2 epics in the set and both are unplayable garbage. This is unacceptable!
This is something I do not understand. Blizzard has not revealed the remaining cards. If Blizzard decides to reveal powerful Hunter cards, they will be common and rare cards, which means they are easy access for every player. Why are you angry about Epics being bad? Epics are mostly situational cards or build arounds, rarely are they super good no matter what you play. You should want Epics to be bad and Commons/Rares to be the good cards.
I mean, for me it doesn't matter since I can just buy packs to get them, but I'm pretty sure people on tight budgets would prefer to see bad epics and good commons/rares...
Just wait until they reveal the cards, it's not like every class will be good at every single moment in the history of the game.
So, "Why are you angry about Epics being bad? Epics are mostly situational cards or build arounds, rarely are they super good no matter what you play. You should want Epics to be bad and Commons/Rares to be the good cards." let me clear this:

the point is that this crap printed in time when hunter realy needs:
1) competitive cards
2) cards with interesting effect/new mechanics (especialy in epic slot) like even unplayed druid cards like Fatespinner is interesting at least. Giant Anaconda actualy does see play in big druid.
Like compare the fucking condition "if you're holding a dragon" (this is the dumbest condition ever, it's not even something that can fail ever in dragon deck) in Duskbreaker - clear your opponent's early board
and this unreal restriction - if your deck has no minions and NO GOOD REMOVALS - summon 2 companions that cost 3 for 3x2=6 mana. With the only benefit being in one card.
Dont tell me this bullshit may be somehow justified.
So you Hunter-players (some may call you huntards because of the aggressive-buff-retardism disguised as "midrange") complain and even want to revolt about a card. So what is the problem? To my side not aggressive enough for it to be playable? Look in the mirror you revolters. There are already too many aggressive builds around, the next meta will go a different, probably higher skill floor direction. That's the reason Hunter is not getting something "playable" or in your mind something that makes the class remain/more tempo-aggressive. Because that is what you like, don't you, you huntards?
The failure of Brode and consort is legendary in the realm of balance, fairness, skill level, diversity and indeed epic when it comes to the Hunter class. Played Hungter for two years exclusively trying making a control version. Never succeeded. That is what is needed for the class, slower version. That should be the focus of attention. Take a step back, stop focussing on a card you don't like and evaluate the class as a whole.
By the way, you know what they'll answer as they did with Purify: we also make cards for "fun", not only for ranked play. For the first time you experience what "fun" means to Blizzard.
You sheeple, you are passionate about the game, but unfortunately Brode and consort are just in for the money, selling even more packs. It is a harsh reality: you passionate, they just want your money.
Priest main detected. God this trash talk never gets old.
Laugh my fucking ass off xD
I eat Kingsbane rogues for breakfast.
The Hunted card kinda foreshadowed this sadly.
oh that would be sweet spell players take 2 damage for every minion in their deck.
Playing control hunter before it was cool

with this deck you could theoretically summon a minion every turn if you draw well enough
you do need to step out of your grandma's basement, real talk
That Independence Day quote :)
Aggro is good for the game. but the only control decks in standard is highlander priest and jade druid. thats not healthy.
and jade druid is very bad against aggro, so really just highlander priest.
Keeper of the Grove Gone, but not forgotten.
