this card is both boring and shit. You know why Crackling Razormaw is so cool to play? because it gives you options, gives you feeling of strategic descision.
This card - is just a waste of a card slot.
This card might be barely justified if only hunter's legendary bow somehow gain profit of spell mana cost. And even then. Why just don't make some good removal without random element, like all other crap hunter has.
I bet this is worse design than any fan-made hunter cards on this site. The lifecycle of this card is also limited due to that no-minion condition. Even If some day that spell deck will work for few months, then immediately after it falls into the dumpster, this card will be useless, cuz it has so specific application.
it's not universal, it's not interesting, it's not giving you options - how worse could it be?
Hunters needing help has been apparent for a long, long time now. But Blizz has constantly printed garbage for them.
Overall, the expansion is looking more like "do random things and see if you can win!" And with them shafting Hunter's again while making almost all other archtypes stronger then they are right now seems like they really only want to keep Hunters a low rank class that helps new players and FTP, while if you want to play at higher ranks or top, you need to play actual classes.
Disgusting from Blizz. If you can't fix a class, at least provide them mediocre cards, not unplayable dross.
They should clearly state their intentions for Hunters so we can all stop expecting actual cards for the class.
Hunter is the free to play class. They made Jade druid so new players can build strong decks (not warlock zoo or hunter) and see how much people hate Jade.
There must always be a lich king and a free to play shit class like hunter. Or we will have the forums complaining about op hunter for a year.
i'm still wating for final reveal but honestly,i have no idea why team 5 print to my side
1/ 1 animal companion cost 3 mana so to my side basically double it (6 mana for 2 companion) but require big sacrifice . How it not terrible ?
2/ this is indicator for "force archetype" again and whether it is successful or not, it will never be fun
3/ i understand " hs life circle" but that doesn't mean they should give hunter (or any class) shitty card ,card like to my side just plain useless no fun,no meme potential, wasted a card slot for nothing
One class will always be the pits in Hearthstone, and Hunter is the class that I would most prefer to take up that slot. Could just be the control player in me, but I would be fine if Hunter stayed bad for a while.

Dito! Hunter had its IMBA time the first two years of HS. Tbh it kind of satisfies me to see all these shorttime brained sMoRC players getting triggered. Now it's their time to hit the concede button on turn 4. Git gud!
Imo this thread is ridiculous. "An offensiv bad card"? "Only hunter"? What are all these people even talking about? Just think about the freeze mechanic shaman got last exp. Even the legendary was dead from day 1 on...
Last but not least. This game needs bad cards. Just to balance RNG.
But why am I even trying to comunicate with "mE go fACe?!" people? Let the rant against me begin...

Isn’t it a little bit ironic how you’re trying to insult hunter players for lacking intelligence when you can’t even assemble a coherent statement yourself?

Give it another try dude. If you look closely you can find 4 good reasons, which clearify why hunter has to wait another turn.
And I'm not insulting hunter players. But face players for sure!
It seems that to those who are complaining a good Hunter card would be: "6 mana - deal 6 damage; if you Control a beast, deal 10 damage instead", or any other bullst that supports smorc.
A new archetype for Hunter would be really welcome, and If the minionless trend is supported, alongside to DK Rexxar, a Fun to play Hunter may arise.

No, but if a new archetype "no minions in deck" then the cost should be lower.
3 manas spell summon 1 animal companion, 9 manas spell summon 3 animal companion, why a 6 manas spell summon 2 have so high demand? Why not 5 or even 4?

Face decks still take a hell of a lot more skill and knowledge of the game to play than something like Jade Druid. If you hate decks that reward bad players and terrible mistakes that's what to complain about, Hunter is definitely a skill-testing deck right now, because it's just barely good enough to win games, but if you make any mistakes at all you instantly lose. Because every other class in the meta has better cards so they are much more forgiving of mistakes than Hunter is.
eh...last time hunter got nice things huntertaker happened, if a class is going to be bottom of the barrel a lot of us are fine with it being the one with the heropower that heavily encourages smorc gameplay.
ps: is till think hunter needs a decent boardclear.
The problem with this argument is that "Huntertaker" happened so many years ago. Since then we endured Pirate Warrior, Jade druid, Murloc Paladin, Razakus priest, Dragon Priest, Midrange Shaman, Exodia Mage, and so many other things that are also broken. Every class has it's turn and it's fine, it's okay for a class to be at the bottom sometimes but hunter has been neglected for so so sooooooo long it's stupid.
And really, I'm not asking for hunter to be Tier 1 or broken, I just want it to get cool cards and interesting things like every other class. Priest and Druid have been getting broken cards for about one year now or more, mage too. Hunter is getting the same generic curvestone bullshit or subpar useless cards for archetypes that are so unrealistic to pull off that is not even 'fun' to play.
I wouldn't mind some "no minion" deck if they gave us then card draw and removal to go along with it. I'd LOVE that. Secret hunter, no minions, face damage from hero power, Bow and spells. That would be fun as hell, but the game is power creeping and we get no new tools to deal with minions that are getting bigger at every expansion. Our baseline for a 3 drop used to be a 3/4 for 3 mana, now people are cheating out 3/3s with charge along with their 3 drop. What can explosive trap do against this? Against turn 3 paladin or Druid with 4/4s on the board?
You mean i don't have to craft epics this expansion?!? I can live with this

I'm so glad i didn't preorder.

What priest get? The best dragon for dragon decks ever made and the most OP mass removal in this game history.
What hunter get? A shit unplayable card and a conditional removal for same cost of the OP priest card.
Yes, have something very wrong here, and don't come with bullshit "time to priest shine" because already one of more strong class in the game.
Perfect balance is almost impossible but the diference of quality of the cards for each class is just insane.

Well, there's still some cards left to be revealed. Those could be pretty good.

but guys wait, this card is a great addition to defeat the lich king with! LOL
It's just horrible. Lets hope the other hunter cards make up for this
haha I remember when rogue always felt like it got trash cards. maybe hunter too will eventually get good cards like rogue is about to
What are you even talking about? Hunter epic cards were always garbage. Hunter is all about bullshit commons and op rares.
i like this card. Be ready for the rise of the marksman hunter.
Playing control hunter before it was cool
I was about to write you off as another radical crazy, but then I saw the ID4 quote and had to give you an upvote.
