Except that before this card literally no one was playing paladin secrets - unlike hunter and and mage, paladin secrets were considered too much of a waste of space in a deck to be worth taking up slots - even with mad scientist. If it bothers you that much play mid-hunter with flares.

Leolph posted a message on Skulking GeistPosted in: Skulking GeistSo here are the cards that will be affected in standard and wild before the set is released (by the time this post is made not all cards are revealed yet, so there might be 1-mana spells coming in the new set)
Druid:
Standard: Claw, Earthen Scales, Jade Idol, Mark of the Lotus, Naturalize, Savagery
Wild: Living Roots, Raven IdolHunter:
Standard: Arcane Shot, Bestial Wrath, Hunter's Mark, On the Hunt, Smuggler's Crate, Stampede, Tracking
Wild: -Mage:
Standard: Arcane Missiles, Mirror Image
Wild: Arcane Blast, Ice Lance,Paladin:
Standard: Adaptation, Blessing of Might, Blessing of Wisdom, Divine Strength, Eye for an Eye, Getaway Kodo, Hand of Protection, Humility, Lost in the Jungle, Noble Sacrifice, Redemption, Repentance, Smuggler's Run
Wild: Avenge, Competitive Spirit, Sacred TrialPriest:
Standard: Binding Heal, Holy Smite, Inner Fire, Mind Vision, Pint-Size Potion, Potion of Madness, Power Word: Shield
Wild: Flash Heal, Light of the Naaru, Power Word: GloryRogue:
Standard: Cold Blood, Deadly Poison, Hallucination, Journey Below, Sinister Strike
Wild: ConcealShaman:
Standard: Earth Shock, Evolve, Finders Keepers, Forked Lightning, Frost Shock, Lightning Bolt, Primal Fusion
Wild: -
Warlock:
Standard: Corruption, Mortal Coil, Soulfire
Wild: Power OverwhelmingWarrior:
Standard: Blood To Ichor, Charge, I Know a Guy, Iron Hide, Shield Slam, Upgrade!, Whirlwind
Wild: -(Not mentioned here are the class quests which also all cost 1 mana. There are games where you have chosen to
shuffle your quest in the deck, especially when you only face fast aggro decks and don't have The Coin.
This is very meta depending, though.)So we know what archetypes would be affected for this meta, but when the set is released, we will see new deck archetypes (like frost shaman) and those might want to play Frost Shock. I think besides Jade Druid, the class (not the archetype) that suffers the most from Skulking Geist is Paladin: loosing all secrets is bad in wild for Mysterious Challenger decks and some good buff cards makes also quest paladin worse.
There are not much cards in the game which have a huge impact on the meta. This is one of them. -

Except Grumble, Worldshaker and Hoarding Dragon, almost every other card has low stats. This expansion is a giant nerf to Evolve Shaman. Devolve on the other hand became more powerful.

Hi, I don't know how it will perform in standard (I am a wild player) but I used this deck (It is a standard deck and there is a little guide) to reach rank 5 with 60% winrate in wild:
Here is the deck in action:

This season I am playing a new version with stronger taunts. Since I am not playing that much, I am still at rank 10 but I have a winrate around 65%.

Nope, I changed and I mentioned it for everybody finding the deck plus I added the videoso everybody can see it be played by the original creator. On this side, you are rigth. If I didn't mention it and let people use "my version" of the deck (not as good as the one of the pro player), it would be bad.

You might not now it but even pro players switch cards in their decks, this is a common behaviour. You can still copy the exact same netdeck and play it if you want. You will switch cards when he does the same.

Thanks for keeping us up to date

This card will go infinite if you face a Grim Patron with one health and another one with 2 health and a third with 3 health. It will keep casting itself.

Warlock now has a (more complicated to use, and not discard) Bolvar Fordragon
3
Dirty Rat is very good against quest Rogue

Argent Squire has "DIVINE" shield :-)
