Voyage to the Sunken City Cards List & Guide
Secret: When your turn starts, give your minions +1/+1.
Competition can be an inspiration to improve oneself. Or kill all the competitors.
ok I changed my mind, this card gets fucked by Mark of the Lotus
minions normally get killed off 1-3 or all of them before this secret procs, so you normally get 1 or 2 gets plus
druid gets it immediately on a big board. fuck this card.
Great design of a secret, hopefully in future paladin will get more fun secrets to play and maneuver with!
This is a great stop-gap for the Quart O' Mustard combo. Turn 4 Muster for Battle and this. Then next turn turn those measly 1/1s into bomb-ass 4/4s
This also goes well with Paladin's ketchup mechanics.
Just put one of these in a mech deck and I think it's great. Nothing like dumping your hand with Mechwarper(s) and finishing it off with one of these to give them alI +1/+1. Then follow it up with Divine Favor or Jeeves.
This card is an absolute bomb in aggro decks. Getting something like +5/+5 for 1 mana is actually insane value.
Blizzard has stated that this secret will not proc if the controller has no minions on the board. Because of this, I seem to feel its potential in an aggro Paladin deck.
You see, aggro pally with Mad Scientists is usually a bad idea because the attack power of minions in the deck is not as high as non-secret version. For example, Avenge offers less damage inflicted to hero than Blessing of Might in actual battle. But with this new secret you can bolster the damage in deck and gain the benefit of drawing speed with Mad Scientists.
Kinda breaking the mold on secrets since it activates on your next turn. Could open things up a little more if the reception is good... or we'll never see its like again.
All secrets are meant to be played around against. Your opponent can play around this buy clearing your entire board.
Well, sort of. The best way to play around this is to kill all his minions except for one unimportant one, perhaps a Silver Hand Recruit. The secret will trigger but on only one minion, so it's strictly worse than a Banana in that case.
That's the great part!
While trying to clear your entire board in the case of competitive spirit, they might end up activating an avenge: but if they don't kill anything, in fear of avenge, your whole board gets +1/+1. Run both to screw with your opponents.
Buff those recruits!!
Has anyone noticed that it is a gnome carrying a horde flag?
Or is this CTF?
This is Warsong Gulch, a WoW PvP map, and yes, the objective is to capture enemy's flag =)
Why is this a rare?
Rarity has nothing to do with anything aside form legendary which makes it to where you can only have 1 in your deck.
I was asking why this secret out of all Paladin secrets is a rare when the others are common. Especially with an effect like that.
And still... the answer is the same...
[card]Ethereal Arcanist[/card] would not work with this card because it would just activate next turn, besides its a mage card. What are you going to do Kezan this card? You really need to build your deck around this secret. It's very pointless to use this one minion what a waste.
