Rip argent squire since Righteous Protector is better in pretty much every way.

I seriously do not understand the hype about this card, I get that it is 1 mana for a 1/1 with divine shield, and that means you can buff it up safely and it can trade twice with things, but I feel as though it is very underwhelming as a minion to play and there surely must be better options available to put into your deck. 

Turn 1: Argent Squire

Turn 2: Coin, 6/6 Blood Knight

*Watch opponent panic and scramble to remove it at all costs*

Because, as you said, gets safely buffed and trades twice normally.. as a 1 drop

Now that Zombie Chow is a thing, you almost never see this card any more.

It's pretty much always useful in any deck any time you draw it.
