posted a message on The feeling of losing to Patron OTK is the worst I've ever had in this game

Aside from all of the obvious reasons to nerf Patron Warrior (such as them being able to deal 40+ damage from no board), there's something else that should be pointed out.

When there are threads about 'Face Hunter is OP' or 'Face Hunter needs to be nerfed', there is always a ton of people against it, telling people how to counter/beat the deck really easily. A lot of the community doesn't think that Face Hunter needs that much of a nerf.

But when a thread like this comes around, everyone just 'GET IN HERE' and agrees that this deck needs a nerf. Several people have come up with several reasons to nerf, and most people can't find an effective deck counter to it, aside from some singular cards for specific classes.

    Yes! So many more!

Damning Cleaver and Rallying Cry: Solid cards.

Heroic Leap: Really cool design, like a better Heroic Strike.

Safeguard: Nice immunity for minions, with the drawback of taking some big damage.

    Rend: Nice early game removal.

    Fury: Enrage Warrior!

Ebony Assaulter and Burning Blademaster: Solid cards.

Heroic Throw: Don't think this card needs the 'If you haven't attacked this turn' condition, fine without it.

Veteran Tank: Could be a 3/8 since it would come out less than even with Ancient of War (since it's only on their turn).

Master of Dips and Speed Runner: Nice designs.

Anduin Lothar: Un-damageable minion, must be hard removed, cool card!

Sad to see that are are only 11 cards left, hope they're really cool!

Still bringing on the cards, nice!

Goblin Warrior: Very cool design, great too for Warriors. Could definitely be a 1/4 or 2/3 since the randomness is very big.

Whirling Warrior: More Whirlwind effects! Nice Warrior 2 drop other than Armorsmith.

Taunting Shout: Yet another shout card. Loving these so far, keep the 2 mana and draw a card theme coming!

Master Weaponsmith: Beautiful, higher order Arathi Weaponsmith!

Anvilguard: Very nice, new and innovative design, would fit very well!

Well, these cards have been very nice, keep 'em coming!

    Quote from Snubb95 jump

Antique Healbot: 5 mana 3/3: Restore 8 health to your hero.

Bolf Ramshield: 6 mana: Restore 9 health to your hero.

It's completely useless, but I wouldn't dust it since I like collecting cards.

You also have to consider, when Bolf Ramshield restores Health, he dies. When Antique Healbot restores Health, you get a 3/3. And costs 1 less. And has the Mech tag. And triggers Crowd Favorite, not that it matters.

posted a message on Dust Bolf Ramshield?

In my opinion, Bolf Ramshield is close to useless, and here's why:

It is effectively a 6 mana Restore 9 Health. They can just hit face and the damage will revert. I guess that if they only have big minions, it might restore up to 12 Health, but 9 Health for 6 mana is almost purely dismissible.

If I were you, I would definitely be disenchanting it. If they buff it in the future, it will take them at least a year, and that's not worth. But in saying that, don't disenchant it with no intention. What I mean is that if you aren't going to use the 1600 dust right there and then, just wait until you will.

Basically, disenchant it, it's (close to) useless.

    YES YES YES MORE!!!

Incapacitate: Nice, more removal for Warrior!

Gurubashi Warrior and Arathi Axemaster: Very nice cards, love the concepts and designs!

Retaliate: I've seen a lot of card designs like this, and they usually cost less mana. I think 5 mana is too much since they can just choose not to attack you. Maybe add 'Give your hero Taunt until the start of your turn' or something like that, so they have to hit your face.

Shield Shatter: More value! But this card is really cool. You could play Bash and trigger a Haunted Creeper's Deathrattle, then Shield Shatter to wipe their board!

Fury Strike: I think this is a bit overcosted, either mana-wise or deficit-wise. Losing your armor is a big deal, unless you get some major value out of it (Shield Shatter). I guess this could be a finisher, but I think that it would still be balanced if you make it that you only lose your weapon (to avoid massive hits). But that's just my opinion, I might be seeing it wrong.

Varok Saurfang: VAROK! Very innovative design, haven't seen anything like that before. It could go up by a stat point, but other than that, amazing card!

Well going along with the Warrior's value/greedy approach, I WANT MORE CARDS!!! Pumped to see more!

    MORE CARDS!!!

Tempered Blademaster: Also think could get bumped up a tad, maybe to 4 Attack. But nice design.

Weapon Mastery: This is a really cool card. I would also like to see this card go in Rogue too.

    Warcry: Perfect how it is.

Chrushing Blow: Holy value!!! 3 mana Execute if you are above 12 Health, but the alternative if under 12 Health might just be good enough to justify it seeing play. Not to mention the obvious synergy with Whirlwind of course.

Arathor Vanguard: This card could be balanced without the Enrage effect. Maybe make it 'Battlecry: Give your weapon 'Your Hero is Immune while attacking.'' Like the Gladiator's Longbow effect. This could also synergise with Warcry.

Anyway, nice to see new cards, still pumped for those Legendaries though!

Nice to see another expansion, really want to see the cool Legendaries!

Gnomish Kneecapper: Nice card, doesn't need change.

Swing: I think it should say 'Your hero' at the beginning.

Spikeshield Defender: Solid card, could be bumped up to 5 Health I think. Or maybe 2 Attack.

Tauren Brawler and Bloodscalp Warrior: Also nice cards, don't need changing.

Demoralizing Shout: Nice alternative take on Commanding Shout. Cool tech against Buffadin or Velen's Chosen, but might be too techy to see play.

posted a message on Who is actually excited for this expansion?

I'm so pumped for this expansion, because there are so many cool cards and archetypes that could come out of it! Here are some of the things I' looking forward to. By the way, these are by no means the things I think are going to be good, just cool.

Malygos Mage and Druid: Mages got Arcane Blast and Dalaran Aspirant which might push the deck to a pretty cool stage. Also, Druids got Living Roots which could boost the deck to the deck it used to be. Also, Master of Ceremonies is a beautiful tempo addition to these decks.

Beast Druid: With the introduction of new Beasts and Beast synergies such as Druid of the Saber, Wildwalker, Savage Combatant and Knight of the Wild, it could push Beast Druid enough that it would see play.

Control and Combo Hunter: Hunter got a bunch of cool slow cards like Acidmaw, Powershot and King's Elekk, while they also got the cool combo possibility of Lock and Load along with a bunch of the spells they already have.

Hero Power Mage: I know that this is one of the most anticipated decks, but it's like that for a reason. With Coldarra Drake and Fallen Hero, it could be a really cool and possibly viable deck. This could also work with the other Hero Power synergies such as Nexus-Champion Saraad andGarrison Commander.

Secret Paladin: Since Paladins got a really cool new secret, Competitive Spirit, along with the major synergy of Mysterious Challenger, it could introduce a cool new deck.

More Aggro Pally: This definitely isn't one of the things I'm most hyped for, but the addition of Aggro cards like Murloc Knight, Seal of Champions and Warhorse Trainer, it could help out an Aggro Pally style.

Shadow Priest: I guess the only real boost we got for this is Spawn of Shadows, but it is a pretty cool addition, and could work alongside with the existing burst to deal that extra damage. Flash Heal is also pretty nice with Auchenai Soulpriest.

Dragon Priest and Warrior: Without a doubt, Dragon decks are getting a sick buff with the advent of Chillmaw and Twilight Guardian, and they are really getting good. But Priest and Warrior in particular, are getting some really cool cards. Wyrmrest Agent is almost broken, a 2 mana 2/4 with Taunt is absolutely invaluable. Alexstrasza's Champion is also a sick tool to wipe out that aggro early game.

Control or Tempo Rogue: While Rogues definitely got the short end of the stick in this expansion, they got some interesting cards. Burgle, CutpurseShado-Pan RiderUndercity Valiant are all cool additions and helpers to this deck. Anub'arak does suck, but if Control Rogue does become a thing, then it might see minimal play, which is good since it's a very cool card design.

Pirate Rogue: This deck is already a thing, but they are getting a cool boost. Shady Dealer and Buccaneer are both minor buffs that might do something. We also got Skycap'n Kragg as a neutral card that could help.

Totem Shaman: Also one of the more anticipated decks, it could be a cool new deck. Totem GolemTuskarr TotemicDraenei Totemcarver and Thunder Bluff Valiant could pose as decent threats and cool cards. In combination with the already present Totem synergy, it could become a nice deck.

Control Shaman: This deck could definitely be a real threat. The MistcallerElemental DestructionHealing WaveAncestral Knowledge will definitely boost this deck into viability.

Discard Synergy Warlock: Now this is by no means viable yet, but the concept is nice. Tiny Knight of Evil and Fist of Jaraxxus are the nice start to a possible new archetype for Warlock.

Taunt Warrior: This could be one of the single most biggest threats to the meta if it works consistently. King's DefenderSparring Partner and Bolster could push this deck over the top and make it insane.

These are the decks that I am really pumped for, and will definitely be giving a try. Also, I didn't mention Inspire/Joust decks for all classes as they will definitely be tried. Anyway, that's why I am excited!

posted a message on 5 cards you love that don't fit the meta

    1. Gurubashi Berserker
    2. Illidan Stormrage
    3. Sword of Justice
    4. Malorne
    5. Pit Lord (ssshhh, don't tell anyone!)

Also, this isn't out yet, but I'm afraid that Dragonhawk Rider won't see play, along with Gormok the Impaler, although, I do love them.
