Hey guys! So I have gotten a gold bolf ramshield. Can anyone tell me if he's good at anything? I have tried using him and I can just say he is near useless. Should I dust him? Also what legendary should I craft? I have a Dr boom, tirion, neputlon, shyvanna harrison jones, chillmaw and all the other BRM dragons. I quite enjoy mid range shaman totem deck and also a secredin.
I got him from packs. I think he's really fun to use in Priest, double Divine Spirit into Faceless Manipulator. If you opponent doesn't use removals you basically have 100+ HP.
In my opinion, Bolf Ramshield is close to useless, and here's why:
It is effectively a 6 mana Restore 9 Health. They can just hit face and the damage will revert. I guess that if they only have big minions, it might restore up to 12 Health, but 9 Health for 6 mana is almost purely dismissible.
If I were you, I would definitely be disenchanting it. If they buff it in the future, it will take them at least a year, and that's not worth. But in saying that, don't disenchant it with no intention. What I mean is that if you aren't going to use the 1600 dust right there and then, just wait until you will.
It's completely useless, but I wouldn't dust it since I like collecting cards.
You also have to consider, when Bolf Ramshield restores Health, he dies. When Antique Healbot restores Health, you get a 3/3. And costs 1 less. And has the Mech tag. And triggers Crowd Favorite, not that it matters.
I think Bolf Ramshield can be decent in Hunter/Rogue, as these classes have poor healing and can somewhat control what damage goes into him by using weapon. It's the closest you get to "your hero is immune while attacking" outside of Gladiator's Longbow (and Mal'Ganis.
I never disenchant legendaries, as it's basically costing me 1200 dust if I ever want to experiment or just create a fun/gimmick deck using it.

And this deck does even works? In what rank do you play?
Sorry, forgot this forum was filled with net-decking try harders.
I wouldn't dust it either, just not worth it. I got a golden Cairne Bloodhof once. The moment i drew the regular one, i dusted it for 1600 and crafted Rag. Don't dust Leg's since you basically give up on 1200 Dust (3 Epics), its just a waste imo.

I ask myself whether both Ramshields get damaged simultaneously if they are on the field together. I would assume so.

Ben Brode himself cleared up, that they do not get damaged simultaneously.
I like him in priest. He's very good when hidden behind taunts, as your face is then completely out of reach of spells. I have lost too many times to mages or hunters who draw double fireball / skill command with an otherwise empty hand to appreciate that. He's definitly not for every deck but he's far from useless.
I actually chose to disbelieve everyone and crafted Bolf Ramshield. I had big dreams for him and I knew - I just knew - he was going to be great in my new, awesome, meta defining decks. Turns out he is, as everyone predicted, complete and utter wank in everything I have tried him in. That includes when he has been stealthed in a Rogue deck or covered in Divine Shields in a Paladin deck.
I wouldn't dust him unless he was a golden. Someone may find a use for in a single player Adventure quest and then you'll want him to beat whichever shitty challenge has been frustrating you.

What good did you think stealthing him would do?
edit: Removed irrelevant quoting
Well because I didn't read the small print I assumed that he would deal 3 damage back to them. And then I thought, OK well that's fine, I'll just use Gang Up on him and live forever with 2 Antique Healbots...mwhah hahaha! Nope, didn't work either. So I tried sticking some Cold Bloods and Tinkers Sharpsword Oil on him instead which normally makes the not so good cards better. Bolf's attack goes up to 7 with a Cold Blood and we all know what happens at 7 attack.
TLDR - Bolf Ramshield is a giant pile of monkey spunk in any format that I have tested.

Really? I tried using him. I cant see any conceivable reason to use though.

Basically, disenchant it, it's (close to) useless.
.
Antique Healbot: 5 mana 3/3: Restore 8 health to your hero.
Bolf Ramshield: 6 mana: Restore 9 health to your hero.

No, I mean 1200. I got 400 when disenchanting..

That's what you seem to be assuming. :P

Dust him for sure, useless card
If you plan on spending more money on packs, don't dust, if you aren't gonna buy any more packs, then dust.
