Gormok the Impaler was both the worst and the first legendary i have crafted. Solely because pwnyhof which i liked back then had a great success running it on his zoolock. Which was the first competetive deck i have created and not gonna lie i had some success with it but gormok was done for after i got bored with the deck which happend quite fast
hunter quest and dollmaster, right after the expansions came out. i've never used dollmaster, but am still trying to make the quest viable
I've recently put some thought in a fatigue deck for Hunter. The quest, along with Raptor Hatchling, shuffles stuff back in your deck, thus granting you an advantage when the game hits fatigue stage for your opponent. Hunter unfortunately does not seem to have enough tools to stay alive that long though, but you can do some funny things with Dancing Swords, Play Dead, Carnivorous Cube, Terrorscale Stalker, N'Zoth, the Corruptor and so on to mill/fatigue your opponent.
Just a thought.
(sorry for double post, can't delete the one where quoting went wrong..)

Actually now I think about it, I did the same, just not based on Pawnyhof but some other streamers deck. I mean, that deck carried me to my first time rank 10, but later as I started to know the game better, I instantly regretted not crafting Dr 7 instead (which also worked in zoolock and like any other deck). Regret so deep, I don’t own him to this very day :)
I remember disenchanting some legends and golden to craft Sneed's Old Shredder when GvG came out. (I believe that the disenchant was The Beast and Lorewalker Cho and some golden)
I crafted both Toshley AND Gazlowe about a week before they announced the new standard/wild rotation scheme. Probably used them about 5 times total. Maybe 2 wins out of those 5.
Recently I've crafted Last Kaleidosaur, Uther, and Lynessa (yes three legendaries) to try out Disguised Toast's quest pali for a few matches.

Anger is the punishment we give ourselves for someone else's mistake.
Right after Un'Goro was released I crafted Swamp King Dred (I liked the art and his unique effect) and Finja, the Flying Star (I wanted to play a murloc deck and thought he would be really good).
As is turns out, both of them aren't really good right now but I hope that Swampking Dred will get his time to shine because he has a lot of potential in my opinion.
At least I got the 3200 dust for free thanks to the Hall of Fame Rotation 2017 where I already owned Sylvanas Windrunner and Ragnaros the Firelord without having to craft them.
I have learned my lesson and only craft cards after the meta has settled a litle bit. Best example: I didn't immediately craft Shudderwock plus Grumble, Worldshaker after The Witchwood was released but waited. After about 2-3 weeks I crafted Baku the Mooneater to play Odd Paladin which was totally worth it.
Swamp king dred was actually pretty good in recruit hunter back when exodia quest mage was still terrorizing the ladder.
I didn’t expect it to be great but I didn’t expect it to be so horrible. There has also been zero support for freeze shaman. The most fun I had was getting a hand full of totems and locked out of drawing by a freeze mage. It was an interesting way to lose.

That’s the bullshit part. She was awesome. I don’t know why they made a rare with the same effect.
The Beast! Drinking and crafting don’t mix well. Trust me.....
Hogger from old gods :/

The Darkness.. I was hyped because flavor was cool and it was 4 mana 20/20.. but yeah, we all know how the card actually performs.
golden varian :(

And more recent I enchanted The Last Kaleidosaur
Drinking and hearthstoning don't mix well, ever....
Lady in White - got hyped after seeing some spiteful priest deck with her, but she turned out to be too slow and randomized.
No brain - no pain.
Twin emperor veklor and happy rag. Both good for a while, but useless now.

Don Han'Cho...
I'm still not sure what exactly overtook me.
The Last Kaleidosaur
Also I crafted prenerf Yogg, then I dusted it when it got nerfed but shortly after I crafted it again because I love the card.
I rarely craft legendaries, but they'd probably be Twin Emperor Veklor and Justicar Trueheart. Didn't get to play them as much as I hoped.

Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP

Malorne I crafted it because I liked the artwork. Good strategy, right ?
