I just reached rank 5. Funny how a deck that started as a joke/experiment is capable of reaching rank 5 in wild.

I returned to the deck and changed the Grimscale Oracles with Gentle Megasaurs. It's just a much better card. Getting windfury is huge.

Intro

Yes, you read it right. Murloc Mage. This deck started as a joke. I had two daily quests: win with mage and play murlocs. I decided to combine the quests into one crazy deck. I expected nothing, but I somehow kept on winning. In fact, I went from rank 20 to rank 10 in under an hour! I only lost to one renolock with answers to everything.

General gameplan

You are an aggro deck. Only trade when necessary, but otherwise go face. Discover extra burn with Primordial Glyph and more murlocs with Primalfin Lookout. 

Tips and tricks

  • Nobody expects a murloc mage. Out tempo them before they know what's happening
  • Grimscale Oracle is not a turn 1 card to play. Safe him for when you have multiple murlocs on board. Treat him like a miniature Murloc Warleader
  • Only use your burn spells on minions when you absolutely have to. Save them to finish your opponent. You don't want to use all your burn spells and then your opponent uses heal
