Why did the "banner" (symbol under the mana cost) disappear in the "official" version (i. e. the picture of the card on this site)? It would be cool to have these multi-class cards be distinguished from neutrals. Or is it only because hearthcards has limited options?
They are working on a way to add the new symbol for these tri-class cards.
(Edit: I misread the actual card text. It's actually a neutral card for Druid, Rogue, or Shaman. I thought it was another Rogue card, my bad. Overall this card is still terrible.)
Ah, those Kidnapper stats...it would be better to be a 3/4 than 5/3. We'll see how good it is actually to discover cards from another class, but i guess it will be a waste of tempo...
Probably the weakest of the discover-faction cards but maybe rogue can make more out of it than other classes. I don't have high hopes for this card but I wouldn't be that amazed if a discover card like this finds a place in some less popular decks.

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?
Complain about the stats all you want, but they had to be that bad to keep this card in balance in rogue. Thief rogue in particular loves this card, but any rogue appreciates AOE and healing.
I think people are evaluating this card unfairly. This is a control card, and you're looking to get value by picking a card that's either perfect for the situation, or crazy for your class to get. Imagine if Rogue or Druid could get Hex or Elemental Destruction. Imagine pulling Ethereal Peddler and discounting your own cards.
Yes the body is weak, but no one plays Ethereal Conjurer or Justicar Trueheart for the body. If it lives you probably won because your opponent has no board or answers, but if not you've forced removal or soaked up aggro's damage.
Finally I just can't discount Discover effects until they're in play. Just about every Discover mechanic has seen at least some play, and with all the spells/minions that would be the nuts in other classes, even if you're not guaranteed to get them I think this is still worth it in the right decks.
Don't think it will make it to playable. It's not limited to spells (weapons and minions are here as well), Shaman and Druid have several non existent cards (without special interaction such as beast or totem), it packs 3 class and Mage have the best spell pool of the game. And the body is so terrible you do not want this in a steal rogue. Don't ever think it'll come near to Conjurer, it will not.
All the classes have worthless cards (Bolster comes to mind), but let's face it; Shaman, Druid, and Rogue have the cards that should be kept really, really far away from eachother.
It's really going to have a tough time finding a spot in decks seeing as how at five the Drake has so much better value. Looks more like a one of tech choice card as opposed to running 2 in deck.
Here's my biggest problem with this card: I don't feel like Shamans, Druids, and Rogue's have a lot of innately OP cards and most of them revolve around combos in thier particular deck. Now because the text is vague i'm guessing you can get either a class minion or spell but still it feels overpriced for the card you get.
Probably won't make way into decklists...It's a worse Ethereal Conjurer. But who knows might barely make the cut, still lots of cards to be revealed yet.
Actually the more i think on this card the more i believe it's good....The -1 attack means nothing because of the low health stat line and 6 attack is normally overkill anyway. The question is what's better Discover a mage spell or a card from Shaman, Druid, Rogue....You should almost always get at least one that's decent plus it's even more impossible to play around what you might have got.
Problem is it doesn't fit well into any current archtype....But Reno Shaman could for sure run one of these.
OK I'm kind of mad that this is the tri class we got... Why? Rogue could do way better if it was Rogue, Priest, and maybe Mage (but that might too strong).
Why? Besides the Counterfeit coin, and Cutpurse, how is Rogue gonna be able to play the cards they get? With this they're probably only getting cards that help with ramp or with huge overload, two things Rogue don't do well.
I voted Playable for Lotus Agents, though this may be the worst of the three tri-class discover cards.
The stat-line is obviously bad but makes up for it with the card draw. The problem with this particular version vs the other tri-class discover cards is it competes with Azure Drake, which is arguably just better. With better stat distribution, spell damage and thinning cards from your own deck just seems far more reliable than this card.
Of all the classes that can play it, I think we might see it in druid the most simply because you can get weapons on occasion and druids with a weapon are extremely dangerous. Overall though, seems meh. Not quite good enough for constructed.
Why is the Jade Lotus card so much worse than the versions for the Grimy Goons and Kabal versions? At 5 mana it seems much harder to justify. Still hope it works.
My personal opinion is that they had to make it that way because of the cards it can discover. All those classes have some pretty sick low mana things, so if it's only 2-3 mana, alot of crazy things can happen early.
This card has no place in Miracle and Maly decks at this cost, Reno Rogue is currently bad due to lack of AoEs and prevalence of Shamans on the ladder, but maybe it sees play in Burgle rogue, at least as a 1-of. Burgle rogue just got a 3 mana legendary that will get you a card as well, but because of no heals it can currenty only be played as a tempo deck, so if something good taunty or healy shows up later in the expansion, I can see a transition into a hybrid tempo/value deck, where you have enough time to play cards like this, twice, and maybe pick up some needed tools.
Druid has Feral, Healing touch, Moonglade, even Bite can work as a heal, Shaman has Healing wave, there is alot of cheap hard removal to be had as well, plus there are some beefy taunts on both sides. And all that can get reduced. A 6 mana 8/8 with taunt is good value.

I mean yes these classes have ways of cheating mana (ramp in druid, cheap spells, prep, coin and ethereal peddler in rogue and overload cards in shaman) so that is probably the thought process behind making it more expensive, but the stats are bad and couple that with the high cost makes me think this card is much worse than the other two versions since you are not even guaranteed to get one of those cards. Since the possible results from the card have such high variance (you could get some absolute garbage cards) I feel like the risk of running it may be too big. I will still try it out since my favorite class is Druid, but it seems by far the worst from the cards with this effect from the three different factions.
Will Peddler rogue be any good because of this? Probably not. Stick to Azure Drake.
Comparison with Ethereal Conjurer for mage.

I think Peddler rogue could become a thing with these new cards. I will absolutely be trying it out
RedneckBudha
THIEF CONTROL ROGUE GUYS WTF
Too bad the 2 others card of this type are nice or at least playable, this one has poor stat distribution which make it not good at all.
Potential for Ethereal Peddler Rogue, at least as a one of (cost is too high for a discovery play).
Unreliable out of there (unless more multiclass synergy cards appear).

It allows you to discover cards from the 3 classes listed.

This card is an instant include in thief rogue. You gain access to more discountable cards, and both other classes have a chance to give you a heal.
