Thematically, peasants use resources to build buildings, and Scout Towers can't attack, so 0/2 seems right for them.
Deck wise, this would fit in any spread deck. You can't buff the turn you cast it, but that's the only major drawback. It also works well to protect your giants.
Question: Should the peasant itself be a 0 drop? It feels just slightly underpowered, but the one extra 0/2 that comes with the lowered mana cost makes it effectively an optimally statted minion that scales, and that feels like it hits the opposite problem- slightly overpowered.
Hard counter to bomb warrior. Upgrades cards gained from
Bronze Herald
and
Firetree Witchdoctor
(and on curve). Gives you a reroll if you get an unlucky
Archivist Elysiana
. Very situational effect, but one that can help round out dragon paladin into a competitive package.
Need some text help. Trying to convey that all cards in your hand and deck that didn't start there get transformed, but don't want to alter either opponent or the board. Its a relatively simple action, but it seems like it requires too much text for a clean hearthstone card. Is what I have easy enough to understand? What would be better?
Same as making legend it follows a simple formula: Skill x Time x Luck = Any major Hearthsone goal. So it means you are good, you are lucky, or you have a lot of time to commit to the game, or a mix of the three. Nothing more. Nothing less.
I've been playing around with hunter and noticed that every time I got a Rat Trap from Shimmerfly, Marked Shot, or Secret Plan it pretty much single handedly shifted the balance and won me the game (admittedly only like 3 games). I mean playing 3 cards in a turn is guaranteed against lackey decks, rogues, zoo, warriors who use warpath; most of the popular decks right now function in a way that literally don't work only playing 2 cards per turn. Is the meta making this card sleeper amazing or am I missing something? Does anyone run it in their actual decks, and if so, how does it perform?
Paladin is the one spread class that lacks a one-turn attack spell a la
Bloodlust
or
Savage Roar
. So I made one that is weaker offensively, but with a ton more defensive utility. It synergizes amazingly with heal decks generally and
High Priest Thekal
specifically. It also evokes Alexstrasza's character pretty well I think.
Some great ones this week. I wouldn't feel like any winning was the wrong choice. All are way better than the card I made.
I love Penance's elegance, so I voted for it. I'm a sucker for a card that can fit into or even define multiple incongruent deck archetypes, and it captures the spirit of the WoW spell perfectly. Very well done.
Similar deck to mine. The key seems to be early game pressure. If you can stay on the board while holding 2-4 dragons at time of buffing, you can close out everyone except sometimes bomb warrior.
I think one card that would make it "slightLy' better is the barista woman card, but what can one take out?
I've played with her; she's in my current deck in place of Archmage Vargoth. I'm torn on her use. Lots of extra value, but this deck already has TONS of value. Tempo is more important for the non-dragon cards.
Same text as
Underbelly Ooze
, so if it takes 2 damage, it's a 0/2 and summons another 0/2 (not a brand new 0/4 a la
Grim Patron
). Overall, better than
Mirror Image
when facing enemies with 3 or fewer attack, worse when facing more power. Also a very potent buff target.

A 2 drop that has a good chance of reviving itself if you get to make the trade.

Meant to be a counter to bomb warrior, boost to Bronze Herald, and retry for a bad Archivist Elysiana

Part Heroic Strike , part weapon destruction, with a low cost but notable downside. It would be a unique and flavorful form of removal for Paladin.
