What the fuck dude ? I'm actually showing you the art as a proof that this is a worgen, because wolves don't stand on their feet, don't have 4 fingers, and don't equip stuff, i'm not putting my fingers in my ears, you are.
But go ahead, show me this is a wolf and not a worgen.
I'm waiting.
Geez this community is more retarded than I could imagine.
Remember that Ancient of Lore was nerfed because it was a 7 mana 5/5 that drew two cards? Guess what? This is a 7 mana 4/6 taunt that draws up to 3 cards but doesn't fatigue you.
A ramp druid will have one dragon or more (Azure Drake, Ysera), and probably run beasts (Mounted Raptor is usually the single 3-drop of choice for ramp). So this is better than pre-nerf Ancient of Lore (that saw play in every single freaking druid deck).
Also, it's a great addition for control Paladin. This will draw the Kodo and the Drake.
I can see even midrange hunters running this (because some run drakes for card draw), and it will also draw them a beast. Malygos/Yogg hunter can also run this, which is guaranteed to draw Maly and buys some time for it's a taunt, and it will guarantee that it draws all your minions: it will draw Malygos and Elek, and Elek itself will draw Emperor.
Yeah, ancient of lore was completely busted. 7 mana 5/5 draw two cards?! Board presence and huge draw at the same time, WOAH?! It was in ever freaking druid deck. And this dude is a 7 mana 4/6 with TAUNT?(better stats defensively and especially on a taunt). I'll concede you can only run one of him, but man, if you can figure out a way to get the murloc value (murloc knight seems to be the only obvious heavy murloc) this card is going to be freaking bonkers.

The fairy tale is about a wolf, not a worgen.
The Big Bad Wolf has the beast tag. Your image is incorrect.
Art has never been proof of anything.

Yeah and Kindly Grandmother is a beast, while other worgen aren't beast. I used to care, but with this expansion i'm like whatever, devs don't give a shit, I don't give a shit.
You can clearly see how lore-friendly it would be for Medivh to be throwing a party in Karazhan.
Have some goddamn fun for once.
Tribes, by design, have nothing to do with fun, and everything to do with lore. How is it fun that Kindly grandmother is a beast and houndmaster isn't ? So much fun wow, party !! Next time, Dragon aspects go to the sea, Deathwing with murloc tag, becoz itz fun lulz
Have some goddamn common sense for once.
Im not sure why you think its a worgen i think its a wolf in disguise as goes the nursery rhyme
It's a worgen, no matter what you think. Has 4 fingers, stands on its feet, has pieces of equipment. Wolves don't do that dude.
Lol, what a way to end your argument. The put-your-fingers-in-your-ears-shouting-lalala-i-can't-hear-you technique.
Really cool, I feel like analyzing it. I play control, so I am pretty biased against other playstyles (although I doubt other playstyles play 7 mana taunts):
Finley really stands out to me. Control decks are the only ones playing a 7 mana taunt, especially ones with a weak body like this. I think finley could find his way into this guy's deck since it can be played at any point in the game with considerable effect.
Drawing a win condition is usually decisive, and dragons are the best at being win conditions. It can even enable you to put more of those win conditions in your deck because of this draw like Onyxia or Deathwing. Also, some decks can use this as tech to draw the exclusive effects of Alexstrasza and Malygos.
Beasts are a wild card. Beasts are only used in Hunter and Druid (excluding Fierce Monkey and Pit Snake), and not solely because they're beasts, but because they are good cards that just happen to have the beast tag. So with the control deck theme of Finley and a draconic late-game, those two classes aren't looking too likely. It's possible to do it, though, and have your beasts be Savannah Highmane or Savage Combatant etc. but it doesn't seem optimal. What beasts are played outside those classes, in control styles?
Mukla, Tyrant of the Vale can make ammo for Yogg-Saron or Antonidas, Stampeding Kodo can work with some paladin tech, Tomb Spider is a niche discover effect, and Jeweled Scarab is a not-so-niche discover effect. That's the only beasts I can come up with which can possibly find viability.
Really looking forward to deck building a control hybrid with this guy. Reminds me of Reno Jackson deckbuilding.

Oh I wasn't saying it wasn't. I just would've been a more substantial argument if he said it like you did, post some actual facts, not just say "Whatever man, I win" xD Just commenting on how funny it is.
On the matter of the tribal tags, I do agree. But at the end of the day, HS is more about fun for me. If they removed the Beast tag it would be a very different card, but if they changed the character it just isn't as flavorful. The Beast tag has to be there card mechanic-wise. For Curator though, it's definitely a mistake, because without the Mech tag, it works just fine.
One important thing to question here is: Did the team create The Curator for HS or did he exist in the Wow universe before? Because if he's an original character, I think Blizz can get away with "well we made the guy and we say he's a mech." If he's an original character, then it might just be an unfortunate choice of card art.
Druid of the claw is a 4/6 taunt for 5 which has an option to be a 4/4 charge. This is a 4/6 for 7 which can draw you three cards if you want to lose the synergy. This card also compares poorly to Varian Wryn which while it does cost more, can actually put your cards on the battlefield, and that card is not even played.
Druid of the Claw doesn't start out as a Beast, so it won't work with The Curator. Though, if you even draw 2 cards from him, he's already pretty good, and I have a feeling that the decks that run him won't actually run him to get all 3 minions, just 1 or 2.
They're not really the same type of card, as you don't play The Curator for his body, but rather the effect. I thin the point of the card is to draw a few cards, either as a combo mechanism with Anyfin Can Happen or some such card, or simply as a way to refill your hand in a more midrangey deck.
mill decks rejoice

This card is great.

Oh yeah, on evolve shaman this will draw you Onyxia or Azure Drake and Jeweled Scarab.
You don't need to draw three cards for this to be good. You can guarantee draw into your wincon, Alex in freeze or maly in druid whatever
i prefer handlock over zoo.

Why no Demons? Ok, this is already great for Reno decks -> Renolock, but I think it could use a further buff, and Demon synergies would be nice.
Really cool, I feel like analyzing it. I play control, so I am pretty biased against other playstyles (although I doubt other playstyles play 7 mana taunts):
The only murlocs that people play in non-murloc decks are really Sir Finley Mrrgglton in control, Bilefin Tidehunters in zoo, Coldlight Oracle in desperate control decks (excluding niche mill decks), and Corrupted Seer and Murloc Knight are both questionable in viability to me.
Finley really stands out to me. Control decks are the only ones playing a 7 mana taunt, especially ones with a weak body like this. I think finley could find his way into this guy's deck since it can be played at any point in the game with considerable effect.
Dragons are easy, since they are all over the place. Excluding dragon-deck specific dragons (Twilight Whelp, Twilight Guardian, Dragon Consort, Chillmaw, and Deathwing, Dragonlord), dragons find their way into control decks as late game powerhouses. The most popular of which are Ysera, Nefarian, and Chromaggus (this one is only 1 more mana than The Curator by the way). Mid dragons that are played include Azure Drake, Twilight Drake, and sometimes Drakonid Crusher.
Drawing a win condition is usually decisive, and dragons are the best at being win conditions.
