Sprit Claw in Shaman was much better than this. it did not cause self damage, has one more durability, and more often that not did 3 damage.

This is a combo piece card. With all the token generation Pally has. You could just put malygos in a deck with a bunch of spells, and posibly get a one turn combo.

generally worse than evolve. Your paying 7 times the cost to get minions that could have worse stats than the minions you already have, and legendary minions generally have most of their value in battlecries.

compared to assassinate, this will likely cost you more mana if you use it like a removal, and it will cost 2 carda. If your oponent destroys it then, they can likely deal with a 1/1. dust this card.

The best option for this card is to attach it to another mech and trade for an enemy minnion. it is essentially 2\4 of rush stats.

posted a message on Is NetDecking a Problem?

The issue is, the best decks are found so quickly that experimentation produces little reward. The internet means it only takes a few days to begin to stabilize, but this is also good because then you know what to play.

I wish noobs would stop using the words "forced archetype".

I think it is an appropriate term for when blizzard releases a bunch of underpowered synergy cards from a class. We have seen this in the past with freeze shaman, handbuff pally, spell Hunter, and most recently rush warrior. Often the best decks are those which exploit unforseen and "unfair" synergies.

I really do not see a need for nerfs, outiside of Naga sea witch. The problem is witchwood did not bring a lot to the table. Right now mage, Druid, paladin, rogue, warlock, and priest have respectable decks to play, so let's look at the classes that fell behind.

Warrior is the victim of a forced architype with rush. We have seen this failing before with hand huff paladin and freeze shaman.

Hunter has lagged behind for over a year, due to blizzard trying to give them cards other than aggro. Just look at the Hunter hero power. It's not a control class. Also though druid, pally, and warlock have all did it better over the past year.

Finally we have shaman. Shaman has had issues from day one. Even when aggro shaman was running amuck, it was only due to an overstated minions. Shaman has never had a clear idenity. It either feels like a watered down mage or a worse paladin

posted a message on Card Nerfs and Corresponding Decks

Everyone is so mad, when we don't even know what will be nerfed, if any cards at all will be. Witchwood had been out for about a month, and I have already seen a lot of change in the meta. We saw odd pally be incredibly strong in the first few days, and then get get by decks like warlock with lots of board clears. Now we are seeing warlock be countered by priest. This is only a part of the shifting meta I have seen so far. In my opinion we do not need any nerfs. The meta is still fresh.

People always talk about cancerous decks, but there is always some decks that better than others. 80 percent of the skill in winning a card game is knowing not to use cards like magma rager in a deck. The other 20 percent is in match decisions. I don't think you call a deck creative if it has a 40 percent win rate. You just created a bad deck. Anyone can do that. What is really creative is to create a new archtype, that also has a high win rate.

    No need to be condescending.

Sometimes even pally will use glass knight. Control warlock uses their legendary. There are a few others. Hopefully the next set will take more risks as it will not be in standard as long.
