I like both Bl decks, i agree with Chromaggus but idk about Ysera. I'd maybe add Hogger . Is it only me or other people started disliking Azure Drake as well lately? I mean its a good value card but with so many aggro decks and even few Bomb Lobber i find it really weak. Biggest problem is i never get to play it and when i do, he gets cleared asap. In BL deck i'd trade it for 2 shredders maybe.
Drakes give you the all so important card draw. Its ongoing ability also creates some problems for your opponent if not dealt with ASAP. A lot of value and card advantage.
I have been playing control shaman recently, and had a bit of success with it. It may seem like a cookie cutter deck, but I traded early game like Zombie Chow for more removal which is almost as good against aggro, and much better against control. It also has lots of threats, so your opponent will quickly run out of removal. It is able to out-control anything, and with Doomhammer you can pull insane burst out of anywhere! I would love if others could give some feedback for improvements, but hopefully this can give people some ideas.
What make shamans so weak is their lack of early game threats and another decent form of board clear. You really can't rely on your hero power and it's just their so you use all your mana per turn. Maybe some more Overload and totem interactions may help, if Blizzard actually addresses this in the next expansion.
I think I'm missing something- how do low cost spells burn your opponents deck? They would need to have played Fel Reaver, right? Or is it a mill deck with Coldlight Oracle and Fel Reaver is just a good threat?
You obviously need to be high for it to make sense, it sure did for me. Someone might have just now realized that Fel Reaver doesn't burn opponents cards when you play a card... I'v wanted to make a mill shaman for a while, i guess its possible if we call blizzard and beg them to change Fel Reaver lol.
I've been getting some good use out of volcanic drake with my shaman decks. Trading up a lot of little things is usually easy to do, but more importantly, killing a lot of things with lightning storm makes a volcanic drake play like a better lava shock.

Yeah, i tried that yesterday and it can be a huge temposwing in your favor. Sometimes I couldn't manage to kill 3 or more minions to make use out of it. So I kept it in hand for 3-5 turns, until I finally topdecked my lightning storm :P
It's very straightforward, there is no required sinergy for the deck to work, each card is strong by itself.
Of course if you can get a Powermace buff on a minion it's better, or if you can drop Chromaggus when Mana Tide Totem is already in play you will get that extra card, but it's not like those cards are awful on their own.
Compared to most shaman decks, this one works against priest and patron warrior (just don't play unbuffed Annoy-o-Tron , keep it in hand, mana tide is tricky as always too). Against zoo / hunter / mechmage is more draw dependant as the pace of the game is faster, but the tech to help against those matchups is there. It should kind of help vs freeze mage too.
I could use some advice on Hungry Dragon, i really don't like the card that much but Twilight Drake looks like a bad replacement as the hand size isnt always big (specially against aggro). Volcanic Drake has only 4 hp and that's a huge turn down (dies to nearly everything...). The deck runs some decent dragon sinergy that would be too unreliable with two less dragons.
It's not that expensive of a deck to put together so maybe someone could try it out and suggest a good replacement for Hungry Dragon? I would appreciate the help.
I guess your intention is to make sure there is a dragon in your hand for getting value off the Blackwing Corruptor, so Volcanic Drake as Wictorox suggests should fit, plus your mana curve would be more flexible as you can drop it as early as turn 3.
Otherwise you can consider replacing the shredder by another mech sticky 3-drop like a Harvest Golem.
I feel Sylvanas Windrunner is a little out of context in here. Sure, she is a good card by herself, but does not synergize with anything as you mention. You could try putting in a Reincarnate instead of one Earth Shock or Crackle. Yet what about Nefarian? Did you consider put him in instead of Syl? - Another powerful dragon!
Wictorox, I do not like the idea of Emperor Thaurissan in this deck. It is a 6-mana drop, and by that moment your hand will be rather half-empty. Chromaggus alone does not justify Emperor being in the deck. And I do not see any possible combos or big cards that can benefit from him. If any, Acidic Swamp Ooze could be replaced by Harrison Jones - the card draw is lovely for shaman -.
I have tried your face shaman and you were right, that the lack of card draw is not too punishing, yet at the same time I feel the sensation that everything is settled in the first 2 turns. If you get early board control, the game is in your favour, otherwise you lose 100%. The good thing is that the games are fast, which makes it interesting for quick ladder play.
P.S: By the way, I have finished a sort of "guide" for the deck I am using this season for laddering (17-2 win streak from rank 16 to 12), currently at rank 11 but I plan to take it to rank 3 at least as usual every season (hopefully legend, but that's too wishful thinking):
Hey Tony, tnx a lot for your feedback and guide for RedSham deck, you are doing our small shamanistic community a huge favor ^^. I like your deck and i'll try it for sure, but tell me what's your opinion on addingDoomhammer to your deck maybe, i think it would fit well specialy with 2 rockbiters, but idk what to replace.

It's a good alternative to, I'd say, Al'Akir the Windlord. You can also put in in the "tech spot" instead of the Kezan or Loatheb.
Yet there are two main reasons why I did not include it: first, having only one weapon in the deck makes it very vulnerable to the ooze we mentioned before or to Harrison Jones (which fortunately is getting less popular in this meta). The second reason is, the two Rockbiter Weapons are an alternative activation method for the many eggs, and being a control deck I am normally forced to use them for clearing the enemy board rather than for finishing him off. On the other hand, Al'akir can take advantage both of the rockbiter and of flametongues, if I have any left by the time I can drop him.
I normally think of the doomhammer in more aggressive decks, like the mech one I mentioned or in yours, where it shines. But it might be worth giving it a try.
On the other hand, I'm strongly considering putting in a Bloodlust. It gave me a huge victory condition against many rivals by turn 6/7 if I managed to keep control of the board, which I normally do, but sometimes I lose to some unlucky outcomes (i.e: Dr. Boom's balanced bombots hitting an egg for 2 and then the nerubian popped for 4).

You are right, bloodlust would be a great fit, also its another egg activator in case you dont have lethal yet, just pop dem eggs and make an - Omelette Shaman tm
I's a little bit tricky to play but really satisfying.
I LOVE crusher's shaman. For GvG he made a couple of new decks, one of which is actually quite interesting and viable in the ladder. Apart from the one you posted he also prepared:
This version struggles against aggro, and is a little bit too slow for this meta, but still very rewarding to play. Same happens with the one in Hearthpwn.
These decks are funny to play and nice, but unfortunately not too good for laddering. The win rate is not too high, and the games take very long. I would really love to be able to play back those nice old combos ancestral spirit + reincarnate, or as I did once, faceless on enemy sylvanas + reincarnate on my own sylvanas... If only the meta was a little slower :(
Weakness: Aggro (Although if you get the right answers you win)
Strong Against: (All Others) Tempo, Control and Midrange
Let's just say Control Warrior gets displeased with turn 4 Deathwing =p
Isn't the curve a little bit too strong? I mean, with only an Ancestor's Call and no Far Sight you have to be extremely lucky to get that combo by turn 4, and not have other minions in hand, either. Just wondering.
It was brutal when it worked (opponent conceding at turn 4-5 after my bot and my ancestor's took out Ragna AND Deathwing, i.e.) but most often it didn't pay out.

Shaman class card: 5 mana 8-8 mech. When you play a card, discard 3 cards from your opponents deck. Name: F-OP-el Reaver
Shaman could use a card like this lol

Also seems like Haunted Creeper/Flametongue Totem could give you consistent 2 mana 6-4s. I'll definitely give that a try as a one of.

Good job so far i like this thread alot.
My comments refer mostly to the wild format.
Interesting deck mate, i'll try it for sure. I might replace Hungry Dragon with a Volcanic Drake, idd he has only 4hp but i really like Lightning Storm > Volcanic Drake play that hallushroom mentioned. Hungry Dragon aint such a bad card, but with 2 Fireguard Destroyer and 1 Piloted Shredder, i dont think u need anymore 4 drops. Also i'd replace Acidic Swamp Ooze with Emperor Thaurissan, u'd get a great value of him in this deck.

I tested myself a strange shaman deck with Alarm-o-Bot, Ancestor's Call and Far Sight alongside big guys like Mechgineer Thermaplugg, Deathwing, Ragnaros the Firelord, Baron Geddon or Ysera. I put in also some Vitality Totem for resisting and soaking off spells, and Mana Tide Totem for that same reason.
It was brutal when it worked (opponent conceding at turn 4-5 after my bot and my ancestor's took out Ragna AND Deathwing, i.e.) but most often it didn't pay out.
