I also observed that trading vs. Priest, Paladin and Shamans is more effective, because it puts them in a weird sport, if the have no aoe. Mage usually swings the game with spells instead, so trading is not that effective. I like the idea of playing more agressive vs Warlocks and Rogues. Gonna give this a try.
I get that aggro decks and lategame decks have different strategies. The problem lies in midrange decks. What is considered a lategame deck? I usually end up with having 3-5 mana cards in the deck which i would consider "midrangey".
Can I conclude that going face depends on the number of potential "swing-cards" in my hand (that could get me back board control)?
After a long time, I decided to play some Arena. When it comes to trading, i have the feeling that i trade too much. Back then, Arena used to be all about keeping board control. But it happened quite often that i lose the late game, because I run out of cards in my hand or my opponent plays a swing card to his favour (and there is a lot more around than back then). Have you experienced the same?

Thanks for all the feedback :) seems like I might have to consider my behaviour on new players. I never wanted it to be a "douche" move or sth. I'll add them from now on.
I just faced a new player (standard deck) and I felt so sorry for him that i decided to concede at the end of the game. Using your epics and legendaries vs new players feels so unfair to me. I see myself doing this quite often. What do you guys think about that?
As a player with 250 Mid Range Shaman wins (which means 500 losses lol) it makes me a bit bitter that now that the class is relevant everyone is jumping on ship. I don't really blame anyone for doing it, the new Shaman cards are not only amazing but fun. Its almost like you're that old salty fan of a bad sports team, and then when its finally winning you have to deal with new fans that could care less about the history. In the end though, the people that jump from OP class to OP class have it right. Its much funner that way, I suppose.
I'm sure other Shaman players feel this way, and its probably a better problem to have than getting stomped while waiting for the next set.
This is so true, kinda makes me sad, but on the other hand i cant blame them. Im sure there will be some new decks in a week or so. My 2 cents.
I'm always looking forward to face a secret paladin, because i consider it as CHALLENGE (see what i did there?), because it required a lot of thinking to beat this (slightly op) deck. "Who am i...." Challenge accepted!!
But I am not facing too many of them right now.... :)

I'm sad to hear that. Thanks for all the work and effort you've put into this side. Also thanks to a great hearthpwn-community!

Standard: because he was my first Legendary and has a lot of abilities:
And Wild: Neptulon-was a lot of fun to play with him. I love his "comeback-potential."

I tend to play more tempo and midrange decks
