     You mean beasts/mechs? That's how Mama / Frog / Deflecto / Kangor builds work. This is tier 5+ though, not tier 4.

    It is a core mechanic of their tribe, but it can't be done with random minions from different tribes with no sort of sinergy to each other by spamming hero power every turn and acquiring a single avenge minion whatever that might be.

    I invite you to play Sneed with Matron to better understand what I mean if you haven't had the chance yet.

    Both perfectly fit the strongest meta strategy, which is deathrattle/reborn + avenge. Mechano Tank's problem is NOT Sneed. They aren't toxic only when together. Perhaps re-read my previous comment.

     Murlocs do work when you have the hero for them. Swabby also kind of works without losing too much gold. Anything that gives you two sells is good.

    The idea is to get at least a couple warleaders before moving on to tier 3 so you have enough attack to win some battles. Then you try to get poisonous but your murlocs are so strong by now that they barely even die, so you really need find argus or some token generation. Demons and plain replicating menace are good for it. They also can pop shields. Keep two flex slots for the end, you will need 1 for triple selfless and 1 for buffing or for brann if you're lucky, or baron for the last battle. Selfless also helps you get poison. Try to get two resells from tokens. Getting poisonous is hard without argus tho.

    If someone highrolls mechs or dragons early you will be obliterated, there's no way around it. Murlocs might also work with Gallywix but I haven't had good success with it, I'd rather try playing elementals with him if possible. With the Brann hero I also haven't had good luck with murlocs, but whenever I get offered Flurgl and there are at least two tribes with early double sells it should be a very, very easy top 4 if not win.

    The problem might also be your higher rating, I can only play 20-30 games per week now so I'm still around 6.3k and this strategy still works.

    Honestly I stopped caring about rating, I insta concede if I get a pool of bad heroes rather then waste one of the 3-4 games I can play every day. I play to have fun after 10 hours of work, not to get angry because my best pick was Toki. I'd rather take the -80 or whatever than spend 15 minutes getting frustrated.

     You can use an alternative scaling method though: Oiler and Gem Splitter work quite well, then with Aggam tier 5, usually these minions aren't hugely contested so you can definately build a divine shield based managerie if mechs or dragons and quilboars are in. The scaling is fine, you can get 20 or more+ stat points per turn quite soon-ish, then with amalgadons it can get very strong.

    But I do agree with you, even though the meta has somewhat slowed down (except the classic highrolls) lightfang feels very slow. Perhaps they should get her to +3+3, or let her buff herself aswell. I don't know. Maybe move her to tier 4.

    For me the biggest difference from before is that I'm now losing or winning by luck (and hero choices too) and / or skill rather than a few absurdly overpowered minions or combos that everybody is digging for.

    Guys have you had a chance to play some games? I did play a few and got the feeling there are more usable strategies now that not everybody is not rushing frogs and doomsayers... it might be because it's just right after the patch but BGs might be quite better now. What do you think?

    I remember having problems finishing my turns the few times I played on my GF's old laptop, or on my tablet. Perhaps the animations were slower during combat, and they ate up a big part of the turn timer. Never had issues on my desktop computer at my house, always have plenty of time. When there are many deathrattles and effects combat can still take a stupid amount of time.

    I don't think your opponent disconnecting can have any sort of effect on your own timers, or at least it never did on the pc i usually play on.

    If you have golden mechs it can still be somewhat decent if you get it as a triple early in tavern 5. It's another deflecto reset.

    Doesn't work well with taunted senseis and other mechs you don't want resurrected, but can still get you some good laughs if the deflecto resets line up.

    I think he's talking about the interface requiring extra taps/clicks, on the phone version, compared to desktop/tablet. I remember having to tap the cards to open my card hand every time, but admittedly I haven't played on phone in a while so maybe they changed that.

    We also know that a couple of builds are already hard to execute on pc, thus a few streamers started using the disconnect cheat/trick (but I don't think that it is the topic of the discussion).

    That is a good point, I never played Putricide in example, but the new target ability might be useful. 

    Daryl is my hero with most 1st places, i pick it every chance i can.

    Double Cobalt with resets, i played it up to double 30+ attack golden cobalts, golden eggs, rivendare etc, it still loses to dragons with nadina in my experience, but maybe I didn't build it properly. Well in my experience everything loses to dragons at a certain point :D

    I used to rank up before patch, but now i can't get top 4 anymore. Maybe I should take a few days off, or I don't understand the game anymore. It just seems much more luck based to me, compared to before. Honestly i moved out of standard constructed because I hated hoping "for that card", now I'm getting the same feeling and not liking it.

    I also still can't make peace with 5 gold turn, getting a token turn 1 has become too important for tempo imo.

    I will give a chance to the revamped heroes though, but my favorites will always be rafaam and the new ysera. I used to be around rank 7k before patch and climbing, now 6.2k and losing, if that can help somehow.

    I mean, they always were a little highrolly, but right now it seems there are 5 or 6 minions in the pool that you need to roll before it's too late or you will place in the bottom 4.

    I'm talking about the new tier 6 minions specifically (that carry you much more then the old tier 6 minions, except for mama bear perhaps), and mama bear / Goldrinn at 5 are another example of "must roll or lose".

    What I'm saying basicly is that unless you roll Brann, Baron or most of the new tier 6 minions your chances for top 4 get very slim.

    Are there any strategies that i'm not aware of that don't include these minions (new 6s and baron/brann)? Besides double golden soul juggler. Thank you.

    The way you need to think of this card, is like playing a minion and pre-buffing it for no mana cost.

    If you play a minion, apply a buff to it, you used two cards and paid both mana costs.

    Now you get to chose if you want to play the weapon because you need it, or if you want to use it as a tempo buff.

    6 mana 6/6 is on the lower end of acceptable, but still not totally horrible.

    Handlock isn't a class

    Well seeing as "Warlock" is too generic (there are at least zoo and malylock types to add), and the cards they play are very different, i think it is a reasonable clarification. Handlock is the only type of Warlock i like to play.

    Thanks for the replies, i will be definately crafting Justicar Trueheart. Twilight Guardians are probably mandatory to toy around with dragon decks, so i will be crafting those aswell.

    1 Garrison Commander to play around with it, and see if it works, and save some dust for later when the meta starts to settle.

    Horserider is fine but depends on how many 3/2s you find on the meta how viable he really is, it's useful to kill jugglers and trigger traps but he gets shut down by a simple voidwalker or the new priest 2/4 taunt i.e..

    One of the strengths of zoo is being able to push down taunts with PO, and the potential 9 damage burst from PO and Doomguard. Its reach is taunt dependant but you should have some way to close the game before the opponent stabilizes, that's why i suggested bloodlust, its the card that works best with a bunch of crap on the board. A silenced and forgotten egg can still push 3 damage with BL.

    Also some burn card could work both as removal and as reach, but you need to playtest and see how often are the cards useful before making further changes. It's a whole new messed up meta and theorycrafting only goes so far.

    Right now i have around 5k dust lying around, plus a few epic junk to DE (for say, another 2k maybe), all of the relevant epics and legendaries from vanilla and GvG.

    My pre-purchase packs were complete crap though, so i'm stuck with crafting if i want to play any of the "new styles".

    I suppose Justicar Trueheart , 2x Garrison Commander kinda work well together and allow to play some new archetypes of the expansion, so these would be my first crafts.

    Next in line are the two epic 2/6 dragons, obviously for dragon decks, not entirely sold on Chillmaw though.

    Among the legendaries, Varian Wrynn comes to mind. Not sold on The Mistcaller. Not so sold on the two valkyrie sisters as they seem to work only in priest.

    Are there any other legendaries / epics worth so far? This is my class preference;

    1. Shaman, Handlock
    2. Paladin, Warrior
    3. Druid
    4. Mage
    5. Rogue
    6. Priest
    7. --------------------
    8. --------------------
    9. --------------------
    10. --------------------
    11. Hunter

    I understand that the meta is not settled, and it's not yet clear what cards are gonna be good for sure, but i plan on leaving at least 2k dust as reserve for later on in the expansion. Thanks for any input.
