This card is very very good if summon from Power of Creation. Just getting double Hogger has won me games, as the 2 2/2 taunts at the end of your turn, can be annoying to deal with. Other then that Hogger is terrible on its own 

Got this Card recently from a pack. Did Hogger ever found ist way in meta decks?

Well, it looks good in my binder, to be honest i like it hell i even made a deck for Wilfred Fizzlebang and i enjoyed it.

Well, I guess he did, the card you showed there also summons 2/2 Gnolls but has different stats.

Even with everything up to explorers out there's still no card that can match  this one's awesome golden animation ;D

Crafted this beauty because I want to and for no other reason. Still refuse to run boring "Add to every deck by default" cards like Dr. Boom. Hogger, just noone ever expects someone to lay down Hogger, I actually enjoy playing it :) With Innervate in my Druid deck, he tends to create value for days!

So lemme get this straight: Silver Hand Knight is a wonderful card, but for one more mana, this card gets no respect although it can't be ignored or bypassed? Really? It's not a tier one legendary, I get that  - but it's a very good card.

I was making a comparison, of the two cards - you want to point out that flamestrike kills both Hogger and companion and Silver Hand Knight and companion - but how does that make Silver Hand better and more respectable than Hogger? FWIW I rarely put Hogger down without having at least one other taunt on board. Anyway, you seem to think I've argued that Hogger is marvelous or invulnerable. I don't think either one of those things, at all. You're arguing against a straw man, not me. Maybe the real point is that experienced players rich with cards have a lot of excellent legendary cards for the 6 slot. But most players aren't there yet.

Aravesh, to repeat myself, you're answering for the player with a ton of cards. Hogger is an unexciting legendary, but not a bad card. Not everybody has a ton of cards. BTW, to my surprise I'm seeing Gnomish inventor in ranked netdecks these days.
