i love this expansion <3
I didn't got to play yet, but I'm really happy how it turned out for shamans and mages.
I really love the elemental synergy play style. Sadly we'll have it for just 4 months :(
High Priest Thekal, Zentimo andSpirit of the Rhino got more points than Zul'jin
Really sad with how Griftah turned out to be :(
When I saw the teaser art for Griftah, I was really excited. IT HAS A CAT IN IT!!! Then the reveal made me really sad that a card that I wanted for aesthetics alone could be so bad.
And then it became one of the three legendaries I drew today. Woof.
I only got 1 legendary in 35 packs.....I gotGriftah.
We can form a two-man emotional support group...
*We* are very wrong every time. None of us is as dumb as all of us.
I will name my firstborn High Priest Thekal if that rating turns out to be right. That card is so ridiculously overrated.
Btw she'll be born in a few weeks.
Very Good, but Still Overrated: High Priest Thekal, Da Undahtakah, Master's Call. Thekal looks super fun, and is really a 3/4 without a downside, but I don't think his archetype will survive the meta. And once you're not building your deck around him, you might not need a vanilla 3/4 - think Eydis and Fjola. Undatakah is a fantastic value card, but I have a hard time seeing how such an expensive card wins you the game. Master's Call requires a beast-only aggro deck - which I think can probably work - but otherwise Stitched Tracker is always better.
Overrated: Treespeaker, Splitting Image, Immortal Prelate, Haunting Visions, Arena Treasure Chest. If Secret Mage can become a thing, then Splitting Image will work, but I can't figure out how Secret Mage becomes a thing. Immortal Prelate is Primalfin Champion 2.0 - it can't be played on curve. Haunting Visions is terrible - it is NOT Primordial Glyph 2.0. If Gonk is terrible at 30, then Arena Treasure Chest can't be 18. It is at least 1/10th as good as Gonk, meaning it should have a ranking of 3, meaning it is 6x overrated.
Rated High, but Still Underrated: Mojomaster Zihi, Zul'jin, Soulwarden, Krag'wa the Frog, Time Out!, Auchenai Phantasm. I hate combo decks, and Zihi kills them. He's going in every slow control deck there is to mess up combo decks. Soulwarden is most likely to be nerfed, and I will not dust excess copies. It, not Jeklik, makes the archetype work. Krag'wa is going to burn you out. Time Out! will win game after game after game. Embrace the shadows enabled combo decks better than Auchenai Soul Priest, and Phantasm costs the exact same, plus has a 3/2 body.
Underrated: Shirvallah the Tiger, Gral The Shark, Blast Wave, Wardruid Loti. These cards are going to be very, very good. Not necessarily meta-defining, but they're just rated too low.
Overlooked Class Cards: Springpaw, Headhunter's Hatchet, Elemental Evocation, Grave Horror, Regenerate, Cannon Barrage, Grim Rally, Smolderthorn Lancer. The Springpaw/Headhunter's Hatchet curve is going to make us all cry. Elemental mage will finally work. Grave Horror will always cost <5. Regenerate will make combo Priest even better, possibly even replacing Mind Blast. If pirates work, it's going to be because of Cannon Barrage. Grim Rally will make you cry more than Hunter's curve. Smolderthorn Lancer enables the entire Dragon Warrior archetype.
Overlooked Neutral Cards: Masked Contender, Sharkfin Fan, Scarab Egg, Saronite Taskmaster - Masked Contender just works in Secret Hunter. It might, possibly, maybe, possibly enable Secret Mage, but probably not. Sharkfin Fan and Scarab might need to wait for Keleseth to rotate, but they're super powerful. Saronite Taskmaster is going in zoo decks and control decks and odd decks. It is the new Zombie Chow.
THE META-DEFINER: Shieldbreaker - This card is going in every aggro and zoo deck. Two copies. It's part of the reason why Saronite Taskmaster will make it into zoo decks without much fret. Time for Spellbreaker to take a rest from the meta. Which means a buff to powerful cards without taunt, such as Gral the Shark. Spikeridged Steed still might be too risky, and do you really want to magnetize Zilliax on that mech? That swap alone, Shieldbreaker for Spellbreaker, is going to alter the game in a very interesting way for the next 16 months.
undatakah in hadronox druid will be so fun
I don't think it will work. Cube and Witching Hour are so much cheaper and versatile. And doubling up on multiple Hadronox deathrattle's doesn't actually do anything. That's really the issue with the card. I can't think of anything game breaking with it. It will probably work best in deathrattle Rogue. If it dies into a 5/5 and 7/7 while drawing you a card, that might do the trick, but that deck struggles with being too slow already.
I would totally agree with High Priest Thekal and Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk being where they are... but Revenge of the Wild ?!?!?
Revenge of the Wild is very strong, because you can trade in your big beasts and bring them back just for 2 mana... and that certainly seems really OP to me.
Mostly, yes. Un'goro top 10 cards were hilariously wrong, whereas the K&C was pretty close.

K&C: https://www.hearthpwn.com/news/4136-the-hearthpwn-kobolds-catacombs-community
If you didn't mention it I wouldn't find out how The Caverns Below (before 2 nerfs) and Rhok'delar were rated to be the worst quest and second worst legendary weapon. I'm seriously considering crafting the Bat and Raptor now...
A lot of trolls lately it seems... LUL
Lol gurubashi chicken did better than sul’thraze
Shirvallah, the Tiger, Gonk, the Raptor and Akali, the Rhino are super underrated. Most Spirits are overrated.
I feel like out of the entire Top 10 only Zentimo, Soulwarden (provided Discolock works), Jan'alai, the Dragonhawk (provided Odd Mage works) and perhaps Mojomaster Zihi as a tech card are properly rated. All the others are insanely overrated. Crowd Roaster and Shieldbreaker are top 10 material though but somehow didn't make it through.
Out of Overkill cards, I think that Oondasta is rated correctly. 2nd best (Ironhide Direhorn) is nowhere to be seen and 3rd best is probably Blast Wave, if only because it's good against tokens and all the others are pretty bad. Totemic Smash is super overrated because it is only good in Malygos Shaman and Shaman lacks sufficient card draw in Standard.
Some of the best non-Loa Mage cards are very underrated (Elemental Evocation and Scorch), Splitting Image is definitely top 3 though. Surprised to see that Regenerate and Sand Drudge are not in top 3 for Priest but community's choice is pretty sound too. As for Hunter, I feel like the popular vote completely missed its mark. Treespeaker is not as good for Token Druid as people seem to think. Zentimo seems to be the only Shaman card that deserves its top 3 spot. Warlock, Warrior, Paladin and Rogue are pretty spot-on though.
gonk underrated? Just because there is a one video of disguised toast showing you a great combo does not maki it good. In order for gonk to be good you most count on your opponent having a full board of minions if not it is a 4/9 for 7 beast which is unplayable in every deck. Sorry man but that card is for me the magma rager of the last three expansions.
