I'm not 100% sure, but I think you're confusing Rummaging Kobold with Cavern Shinyfinder

DomBlaze posted a message on Our Arena Highlights for The WitchwoodPosted in: NewsAs others have said and will continue to say, it wouldn’t make sense for Hagatha to be an option for Arena since the other hero cards are not in the format. Please, let us know if/how you can verify Hagatha will be draftable.

Dr_Scaphandre posted a message on Looking Back on the Year of the MammothPosted in: NewsHonestly, I would rather have paid adventures where you could get all the cards. Adventures were quality over quantity. Now the adventures aren't as great anymore.
Also, whoever at Blizzard decided to buff Naga Sea Witch, go to hell. You single handedly ruined Wild by doing that.

Deck was basically carried by double Cleric. In many games I was able to draw so much cards that I was actually milling them. Couple this with a usual high average card quality Priest has and most people just couldnt do anything when I was able to take a solid grip onto the board. First time in a while I felt Scream was actually good - usually it was just a dead card for me. I skipped one Holy Nova in the draft, it probably would have been good too, since even with my comparatevily strong early-game I more often than not was playing from behind. Every single taunt in this deck felt amazing, Tortollian Primalist was a meme pick its not actually good. Not much to say apart from that. Lost to a Rogue with Kidnapper and to a Druid with Roar.

It is obviously extremly strong deck (both in terms of synergy and card quality), which paired with it belonging to the best arena class isnt suppose to surprise anyone by going full 12. I was surprised right away tho, since I got my face smahed in in what people would call a perfect storm first game by a Hunter. Thankfully I was able to get my shit together, not tilt and play at high level for the rest of the run. My second loss was against Shaman (I simply lost to a single Flametongue Totem, not much to discuss there), so its kinda interesting that a deck powerhouse like that got shot down by arguably two worst arena classes rn.

1-drops do miracles in arena, it can compensate lack of the 2-drops and tempo gain from going 1-2-3-4 is just immense. It felt important to also have as trong 3-drop line, since you are depending on it when going second. Otherwise card quality was solid, some cards may look mediocre, but even Sabretooth Stalker was quite useful in many games with more decks having less boardclears nowadays. Lich King card won me one game and another time dude just conceded when I played it, though he only needed 3 damage to answer it, he was playing Warlock and it was 7-0.

Every expansion before Shadow Visions?

Been struggling with a Warlock lately, which is ongoing trend of mine with a class, but finally got right things together. Deck has some scarse synergies (Wyrmguard, Happy Ghoul and Blazecaller), but that didnt happen a whole lot, I actually was able to activate latter one only in my last game. Second Defile felt unnecessary, but it was frustrating in a game against Paladin, when both copies and Primo Drake were in bottom 10. Double Omega Agents were crushing, I closed most of the games with their help. Main thing I realized after a series of failures and this succesful run is that you cant really built late-game Control Warlock without really solid early-game curve. It just wont happen - you wont get enough board clears, removals and taunts to pull that off. So you should generally aim at Midrange style when drafting the class.

Finally got to draft another Rogue, predictably it once again went all the way. Blightnozzle was fine, but nothing special at all Scalehide plus Plague Scientist combo was pretty dank, Banshee lost me both games Giggling Inventor is so good that I kept it with Wargear or Fungal on mulligan couple of times (Rogue generally can afford to do that). Lich King carried some games, but that to be expected.

And second deck is once again Rogue. Class just seems very comfortable to play, its strong sides thrive in board and tempo oriented metagames such as we have now. One thing worth noticing is that you cant actually reliably draft a lot of draw tools, like you did before Boomsday, so instead you need to make a middle part of your deck beefy and pick pseudo draw when you have that option. Triple Hallucination was very good in that role and as a side effect made almost every game feel fresh and different. 1-cost spells and 1-drops are still good, despite a lack of combo cards being offered, you need them to smooth out your 4 mana slot, which you have most chances to miss, since in your draft you need to mainly concetrate on 3-drops.

Pretty straightforward Rogue deck. Decent amount of solid 3-drops, little more lategame than usual because I was not offered any draw options in my draft. 5-drop slot is insanely good with Fungal, Slayer and Chemist. One card which positively surpised me in this run was Igneous Elemental - because this deck doesnt run any 1-drops or 2-drops, having 1-2 token elementals was very useful for activation of Slayer and Chemist before getting to turn 8, when it was easily done with the help 3-drops. Coppertail Imposter also seems pretty solid to me, I had it in couple of decks already and it turns out that stealth on a 4-drop mech can be often extremly useful if you consider 5 mana magnetic cards and other on-curve buff options like Fungal or Valkir.

- The reduced frequency of weapons hurts them slightly
- Paladin is ranked #9 at HSreplay right now
Seems slightly enough for me to not put it in tier 1.

I thought people should have learned that stats is not the most important thing when it comes to Warlock cards after Rin, which was unanimously proclaimed a joke trash card. Not saying this card is any good, just putting it out there.
