Not entirely. For weapons with a Battlecry, for example Jade Claws, it's better to return it to your hand with this card than equip it with the Pillager.

It's a significant tempo loss, however. For practical use, no one plays this card.

Tell that to totem Shaman and their 4 copies of Splitting Axe.

When I open an epic from this expansion it's almost always this card got like 10 copies of him.

I didn't know about this card. With the popularity of the warlock these days more people use weapon removal. This card will be good for my Skull of the Man'ari.

So it spawns a second Kingsbane sans buffs -- but what about Val'anyr?

If your weapon's deathrattle target is silenced/morphed/psychic screamed/MC'd/whatever, can Rummaging Kobold replace it?

if you have a kingsbane, the new weapon will keep the buffs?

With just one kingsbane you can avoid natural fatigue (play kingsbane and hero power every turn)

Everyone's talking about getting a second copy of the K&C Legendary Weapons with This, but I'm just excited to get a second Grave Vengeance or Shadowmourne!

Not that great with Sulfuras. It's basically just a 3 mana 4/2 weapon since your Hero Power would already be DIE, INSECT!. It does refresh your Hero Power, but once you've started throwing 8 damage damage around each turn you've usually already won.

This card is awful, your paying over 2 mana to get a weapon.  Forge of souls cost 2 mana and gives you two weapons and it's bearly seen play.

This is clearly designed to give you multiple legendary weapons.  But I don't see any of them so far that's worth paying 2 more mana for, maybe aluneth for mage but without that getting slimed it's a 3 mana 1/3.

You make a fair point. However, Forge of Souls was in a META without these Legendary weapons. I think Rummaging Kobold (and maybe even Forge of Souls) might sneak his way as a one-of in SOME kind of deck that uses a weapon.

Good for warrior weapon decks. 

It's actually quite mediocre for these decks because weapons have extreme negative synergy with other weapons.

Difficult to measure it's power just yet, but sadly Rogue will have a hard time enjoying this weapon, as their daggers from hero power will water-down their chance at getting their good weapons back.

Perhaps weapon Rogue will be enabled with some new cards? I think I'd rather just get blade flurry buffed.
