Really thankful to Blizz for giving us that extra JUG pack with the brawl, but the number 1 instead of the 0 on my Open Packs option is triggering me to no end.

Hahahaha... I guess when OP said he wants a non-p2w deck, he referred to the amount of legendaries and epics in the deck. So while I believe that your deck works, 12 legendaries (only 3 from adventures) unlikely qualify for his needs... -

Horkinger posted a message on Control Hunter deck!Posted in: HunterQuote from Justice171 >>Multi-shot, but no Kill Command or Eaglehorn Bows? Peculiar...
This Kill Commands I sort-of understand, the Bow missing looks like a pain at first sight. Yogg-Saron always gives me crazy bad RNG (Usually a 10 mana Battlecry: Kill Yogg-Saron immediately), but I'll give this exact deck a spin. If I find I am missing reach, I may add King Crush.
For now, I'll queue the following song and let's rock.
Kill command is a terrible card with such low beast amount. Eaglehorn is a terrible weapon without any secret (Fork level, do you even imagine that?)Eaglehorn bow is not a terrible weapon. It's just better with secrets, but even when you have secrets you play eaglehorn bow often without getting secret value. And it is played in hunter builds (midrange and aggro) also without secrets. A 3/2 weapon for 3 mana is decent and usable. Just because firey war axe is probably the most powerful weapon with regard to its cost doesn't make it bad. And making use of health as a resource is a very good way to maintain card advantage, especially for midrange hunter.BUT, hunter has two main problems when it comes to control decks: No reliable card draw and no reliable health gain. The former you can work around to some extent by discover effects and spells like Stampede. Here he used a spell heavy hunter that draws with acolythe of pain , Wild Pyromancer and the spells. It's a neat idea, most people try cultmaster and small minions, but that means the minions have to survive (or unleash the hounds combo for 7 mana). However, life gain is a bigger problem. This list has also zero heal, but the win condition is Yogg-Saron, Hope's End or Medivh, the Guardian => Call of the Wildwhich are at 8+ mana. If you use your health as a resource, you will unlikely last until you can play your big bombs. Especially against aggro. And that is likely the reason why eaglehorn bow has been cut. -

RavenSunHP posted a message on Friendly Feud Is Back! Complete Quests Against Your Friends This Week!Posted in: NewsI don't see anything special in questing against friends.
Either they make it a default feature (possibly with a check against insta-concede)
OR they add something to actually make it an event of sorts: for example 10 extra gold for each victory against a friend.

Likafoss posted a message on 7 cards I'd like to see nerfed (and how/why)Posted in: Card DiscussionUltimate Infestation: This is kinda necessary for Druid to survive IMO. If it were to be changed, I would just make the targeted damage only be able to hit minions. Druid isn't a spellcaster and thus doesn't need burn damage.
Call to Arms: The thing with this card is it's really powerful at 4 mana and almost trash at 5. Force of Nature and Doppelgangster never see play for their singular effect alone because 6/6 for 5 mana is just average for power, especially on more than one body. Paladin is a problem, but I don't think this is the way to fix it.
Divine Favor: Seems good effect-wise, but I would also keep this at its original cost of 3. Your nerf is reasonable though.
Grumble, Worldshaker: I get that you want to see Shudderwock gone, but it's one of about two decks the class has going for it. I would change Grumble's battlecry to ". . . they cost (3) less)" because getting everything back for only 1 mana each is extremely powerful and it would never allow you to play more than one Shudderwock in a turn.
Dark Pact: I think they should either make it cost two as you did above, or reduce the healing to 6.
Doomguard: I would simply make the discard mechanic a Deathrattle so players aren't punished for playing it, but reap havoc if they duplicate it.
Spiteful Summoner: I like the effect, the problem I see with it is the extra 4/4 body you get with your big minion. If Spiteful Summoner was only a 1/1, there wouldn't be as much of a burst of pressure on the board, but you keep the big minions which would still be worth building around. Even changing it to a 2/2 would be fair. (more fair than the Corridor Creeper nerf)

MattMurdock77 posted a message on The Most Disappointing Cards Leaving the GamePosted in: Card DiscussionQuote from OverholtNA >>This is a good list.
I was a bit surprised that Jade Rogue never took off, particularly with Jade Swarmer and some of the deathrattle synergies we've seen lately. I guess being the third best Jade deck doesn't get you very far.
I play it now, and it’s a fun deck. Can get out of control with valeera, umbra and cubes. Had some early success before Raptor rotated out. That was a brutal loss. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I agree, that phrasing is interesting. They should ban the user who said that, what a moron.

1) Nerf Posessed Lackey
2) Make it so that you rank up through an 'experience' system (over a star per win/loss). With the experience system you'd earn more exp. for a won match if you played more cards. For example, if you played 30 cards in that game, you'd gain 300 exp.
If you won a game by playing only 10 cards, you'd gain 100 exp.
This way, you can rank up using aggro or control decks just as efficiently.

Not a bad idea, hadn't considered it. There's 3 good outcomes (Dinosize, 2x Spikeridged Steed), 4 mediocre (Stand against Darkness + Level Up!) and 3 poor ones (Divine favor and Call to Arms)
Unfortunately, I myself don't have Spiteful Summoners, so I'd love it if you would try it and give me feedback? :)

Yes, Patches is getting his nerf. But why nów, and not a couple of months after he came out when he was already oppressing the meta?
IMO, they should be a bit quicker on these things.
