You're actually bragging about winning with a top tier netdeck against something that's off meta? Congratulations on your 2 wins. And playing Barnes on curve is almost an instant win with Big Priest, it's the whole point of the deck.

Qerb posted a message on [30-4 88% WR] Elemental Shaman OctoberPosted in: [30-4 88% WR] Elemental Shaman OctoberHey just went from rank 7 and 2 stars to rank 5 without dropping a game, beat 3 jade druids, razakus priest, ctrl mage, and tempo rogue.
For people saying the ancestral spirit is bad, there are plenty of good targets to use it on, it doesnt have to be a 2-card combo with earth elemental, you can also use it on Aya, or any big minion to retain tempo (big jades, fire eles, discovered big elementals), it's pretty flexible in the list.
Thanks a lot for the list.

S4B0 posted a message on [30-4 88% WR] Elemental Shaman OctoberPosted in: [30-4 88% WR] Elemental Shaman OctoberThis is a really nice Shamen-Deck (and its not a "meta" deck). At the start I had some problems with it but after some games I figured out, how to play it (ca. 20/5; 80% winrate). I made some changes like bloodlost and devolve instead of Ancestral Spirit. Ty man for that nice Elemental Deck!

Alohacc99 posted a message on [30-4 88% WR] Elemental Shaman OctoberPosted in: [30-4 88% WR] Elemental Shaman OctoberHonestly, unless you have a bad draw or the hunter/ rogue have a nice curve, you have a advantage over them and u shouldn't go 0-4 against them. Pardon me for saying this, the sample size is small and this deck isn't a brain dead deck, you need experience in playing against the different match ups which you lack since u just started trying it.

wrainexc posted a message on [30-4 88% WR] Elemental Shaman OctoberPosted in: [30-4 88% WR] Elemental Shaman OctoberI believe his win rate is legit. However, that says nothing about the deck quality. For instance, what was the ranking and the time/date he played the deck and on which server, not to mention actual skill/experience and luck needed to get a win.
Don't just copy paste a deck and expect to instantly get the same results it advertises. (And that is not only the deck's fault)

Scorpyon posted a message on The power of bullshit (aka "why razapriest is necessary")Posted in: General DiscussionAnd in comes razapriest. You have all the control tools. But you also have an extremely powerful and broken endgame combo.
Your words.
Guess no more needs to be said.Personally I love my DK priest deck and a nerf to it would hurt. But the fact I hate coming up against it just as much as I love playing it shows that it is way too strong right now.
And Raza is definitely the problem. But that said, Raza wont be around forever. Just for a little while yet... -

If you think you're the reason people are playing Razakus Priest and Keleseth Rogue, I'm sorry to break it to you, but you're not.
There's nothing wrong with one person netdecking. The reason it's frustrating is that people are doing it en masse. This causes huge staleness in the meta only a couple of days after an expansion launches. If I face a druid, I have to see only 1 card to know every card in his deck. If I see a Priest, you can safely assume it's Razakus. And so on
Warrior: If someone is playing Warrior currently, he's probably playing Pirates or Dead man's hand. This is the snowflake of today's meta
Shaman: 90% chance of Evolve Shaman
Druid: 80 % chance of Jade Druid
Mage: 70% Secret Tempo Mage
Rogue: Keleseth Rogue
Paladin: Murloc paladin
Hunter: Midrange Hunter
Warlock: Zoo
Priest: Razakus
Staleness is the problem, Netdecking is what causes it to happen extremely quickly.

Well, because they are very, very different cards.
Ancestral Spirit allows for your minion to instantly respawn (Earth Elemental mostly), whereas with Spirit Echo, you'd have to replay the minion and overload yourself again. Also, although Doomsayers aren't much in the current meta for some reason, Ancestral Spirit'n your minions on his Doomsayer is pretty, and pardon my Twitch Language, Kreygasm.
