My bad if any of these are actually in popular decks that I'm not aware of. Also, some of them are probably just hopeless in this meta because they're midrange/control cards and we have an aggro/combo meta. I was inconsistent about whether I put such cards on the list anyway.
Anyone have any kick-butt ideas for decks that make good use of any of these cards? Let's do some theorycrafting!
Deviate Dreadfang should cost 7 mana or is doomed to unplayability in both formats
Tavish Stormpike is good on paper but your entire deck need to be built around him and again it turns out it's a worse deck than normal face hunter or tempo rat king hunter
Enthusiastic Banker I thought this would be one of the most powerful cards of the set, like a mini cornelius roame, but the delay between the effect and when you actually get the cards in your hand makes this card awfully slow and opponents can easily play around it by not killing / freezing / silencing / transforming it.
I was toying with an elemental Mage deck using Clumsy Courier to cheat out Grand Finale a little early. It's pretty fun! I feel like the only other good target for that card (in Standard, anyway) would be Deep Freeze, but that seemed too inconsistent for me.
I also rather like Serena Bloodfeather - she'll outright destroy a minion that only has 1 health, and then otherwise can make a big threat much more manageable for other cards to deal with. I use her in my Aggro Priest deck, and really like her.
No it's not, that one I'm actually pretty sure about. I've been following the changes in Aggro Shadow Priest. People tried out Needle in early versions of it before it became successful, but putting Needle back in at this point would be a revolution.
You can make a deck and include them If you want to. People use to copy meta decks made by pro players so I'm not sure if "we" can change that :(
You guys are party-poopers, you know that? Sometime grass-roots movements work even in Hearthstone, ok? xD
Just trying to get some creativity flowing in a new meta, that's the whole point of the thread. I don't even have some of the cards on the list, so it's not like all of them are burning a hole in my pocket -- I just like to see people trying new things in deckbuilding.

Yeah, I did have Standard in mind, not Wild. But maybe Wild is the place to look for some of these cards.
Some of your less-successful experiments (Frost Mage, Tavish) I've tried and been disappointed too, but I want to see them improved now that Stormwind is available.
Serena should be good in a tempo deck in all minion-based matchups. And maybe tempo priest is finally possible?
Can you share a good Ramming Mount list? Preferably something with some other creative ideas in it too?

Thought about using a Selfless Sidekick as a Pirate in a Priest Quest N'Zoth deck to bring out a Shadowcloth Needle: Thought about it; hasn't happened, probably won't.
Had my potatoes given to me by Veteran Warmedic, but yeah the Paladin had reduced his holy spells twice during the game at that point.
Barrens
Stormwind

Darkspear Berserker was a staple card for deathrattle DH for quite a long time. Some other cards had seen play as well, but mostly in tournaments.
Shadowcloth Needle is played in Aggro Shadow Priest
and Florist is played in Aggro Druid
I don't know if "we" can.

Here is my two cents :
I play Selfless Sidekick in my odd paladin deck with Vinecleaver, very strong power play on turn 7, but I've never seen another soul play that card
I play Ramming Mount in pretty much all my hunter decks and it doesn't disappoint
I experimented with Rimetongue, Frostweave Dungeoneer an Floecaster in an all frost deck, it felt really bad compared to other mage decks
Serena Bloodfeather is just a very bad card

Veteran Warmedic is just bad without 0-cost sacred spells
Sketchy Information / Counterfeit Blade are strong in wild, not enough synergy in standard

Stockades Prisoner, i'm going to experiment it in Jungle Giants druid right now cause I just opened my second one
I haven't tested the other cards

Can you share a list please?
Sure! This is the list I use: https://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1394061-illucia-shadow-priest
I don't know if it's good but it wins games and I think you will find it creative enough, I built this a couple days ago :
The idea is to get 2-4 The Rat Kings on the board through Selective Breeder, Mok'Nathal Lion, Carrion Studies, Teron Gorefiend, and then snowball from there with infinite board. Play Ramming Mount for tempo or face damage as needed.
sketchy information + loan shark + gadgetzan fucktioneer + garrote + a bajillion of basically 0 cost spells + ethereal augmerchant =
an absolutely miserable experience for you
have a nice day
Great point. I have had similar thoughts as well about some of these cards.. they could potentially be used in wild in different ways. We'll see
Cool stuff both of you! Unfortunately I'm missing some expensive cards for both lists ... :(
What are you missing ? I'm sure I can make you a budget list, some cards like vectus or tarantula aren't necessary
missing those two and The Rat King himself, whom I'm pretty sure is crucial ;)
EDIT: I always get insecure about my collection in conversations like this ... I do have Teron and Rinling's and Zixor ...
Serena Bloodfeather is not so bad, she was/is particularly good when specific Paladin decks are dominating the meta. Remember the pre-nerf Aggro Paladin in Barrens (with eggs and Blessing of Authority), Serena was good in that meta, I was playing a control Priest with her, Devouring Plague, Flesh Giants and Animated Broomsticks.

Both Counterfeit Blade and Sketchy Information are in Dane's Deathrattle Rogue list: https://youtu.be/T_34r6ooDWs .
I really like Florist's golden card art; if that means anything, and sure I've seen a single Guild Trader unironically in Quest Mage.
Sketchy Information works quite nicely in this Obelisk Rogue build:
It's wild and surely not Top Tier, but it actually makes good use of the card. (You use it to draw Meat Wagon, which then summons the Obelisks).
Deck and Writup here:
Serena's great. She kinda requires you to run efficient removal cards (Holy Smite, Devouring plague) but as a tempo card, she's really solid.
I think a lot of these cards are somewhat meta dependant.
