OH shoot! I misread, it is discounted for each totem you have summoned in the game. Wow! I am blown away. I love playing Control Shaman and this is just the card for it.
It's nothing like awesome or something else. There are 4-6 totemic cards that you can actually get good value without losing tempo (2x tuskarr totemic, 2x totem golem and maybe 2x flametongue. Using your hero power will end in losing tempo (that's why the shaman hero power is not that great in a tempo oriented game). I guess in a control heavy miniondeck, you would rather take in sylvanas than a card like that.
All in all, good in a midrange oriented shaman deck but bad in early and late game. So it's not ASWESOME BEST CARD EVER CREATED OMFG but more like ok...
Jesus christ... the "APRIL FOOLS" people. It's a fucking card. It's not even that spectacular. There are only two other Taunts at 6 mana: Lord of the Arena and Sunwalker. One is basic, the other is rare. One gives you a 6/5. The other is a 4/5 but with divine shield. So this card at 5/5 for 6 and also being a rare AND being class specific isn't that spectacular. What is great about it is that it can come out on turn 4 without coin (Turn 2 Hero Power -> Turn 3 Tuskarr or Hero Power -> Turn 4 Thing) or Turn 4 with coin (Turn 2 Hero Power -> Turn 3 w/coin Hero Power + Golem -> Turn 4 Thing for 3 mana).
Now that's pretty good, but you're also locked in to playing specific things to get a 5/5 taunt out on a specific turn.
In all seriousness, I would love a card that summons 3 hero power totems. I think it would be good value for three mana even without a weapon like Muster for Battle has. I would also love to see some more aggressive totems added to the game. Preferably something 2-3 mana to give Tuskarr Totemic more value.
This card will also be good late-game if you are running elemental destruction, and need something to play for cheap after clearing the board (besides volcanic drake) or when all mana crystals are overloaded.
love it! This is the kind of Shaman cards I like. The mana discount makes possible shaman do a strong play even if overloaded, fits nicely in a midrange or control deck and totem synergy is very nice. I can't wait to see the rest of the shaman cards now.

Good card, a mix between Frost Giant and Knight of the Wild... But for totems!
