It's ridiculous how many legendaries there are in this deck. What's even more ridiculous is I have every one of them aside from Knuckles! As fun as it sounds, how would you avoid getting run over by Even Shaman or other aggro decks? Other big decks (priest, warrior, rogue) are able to cheat out minions earlier or have good control tools. Without those, I can't imagine you'll survive long. Maybe drop some minions and go for control tools...

Even Shaman isn't all that bad. Sure, it's got some nice synergies but I feasted on it all of last expansion with secret hunter as they need to build up board presence and interact with your face to win. Similarly, any control variant warrior does extremely well due to having access to numerous clears and running the shaman out of steam. I know it's considered top tier, but at least it's not a frustrating deck to play against like Big Priest is or Star Aligner Druid and Millsbane were.

I actually think Zihi is pretty interesting as an addition. I don't have the card so I wouldn't end up testing it out anyway but I know that I often find myself with extra mana with pogo decks. Sonya, on the other hand, is absolutely crucial IMO because there are so many cards that are awesome to copy and opponents can find it hard to clear everything you put up especially when the bunnies start rolling.

I don't really like Novice Engineer though. I would much rather run Witchwood Piper as the tutor draw is very helpful. General draw is nice but you need to out-tempo your opponent with big bunnies ASAP if you want to win.

I noticed you don't have Elekk or Cheat Death. Both are really nice in pogo but I guess it may be hard to fit them in with other options that are available.

I like the idea of Spirit of the Shark! Does it count as two bunnies being played? Or is it just double buffed?

And golden packs apply the same rules as other packs.

So for who received other golden packs before and not opened a leg there is a descent chance to open one since we still in the first 10 golden packs.

Fairly certain this isn't the case. They should follow the same rules as classic packs. So if you haven't opened a classic legendary in a while there's a better chance of you getting a golden legendary.

Apparently, the average is one legendary per 20 packs, and the pity timer is every 40 packs. But this is for each pack type.

I'm currently on 36 packs with no legendary for Rastakhan alone, so I'm afraid that I don't have much sympathy for you.

I opened 72 packs in the opening day and got 2 legendaries. One of those was the guaranteed within first ten. So I got pretty close to the pity timer twice in a row. Pretty frustrating.

posted a message on An Argument Against Nerfs

Just learn to enjoy cards outside of playing them in T1 decks. There are plenty of ways to build a more midrange or aggro Kingsbane deck and there are plenty of Shudderwock interactions that don't involve OTKing with it. Blizzard will always push out nerfs to limit high-performing decks or ones that people find un-fun to play against. The solution is to realize this and play less popular decks as you have the element of surprise in games and will likely not have to worry about lost dust when nerfs roll out.

Good nerf!  There is now a reason to run Spectral Cutlass.

Exactly my thoughts! I was beating Big Priest with Cutlass two expansions ago. It can get out of control just as much but at least is a fair card.

I vote good nerf as someone who crafted golden kingsbane but hasn’t abused this absurd deck. I was really worried that Kingsbane would get nerfed but this is much better.

    Quote from Thonson >>

The new sets lately are weaker on power level, so at most you’re likely to see mostly the same decks, maybe one or two new cards.

Wild has such a large card pool, with such powerful cards, that we may be reaching the point where established decks won’t change unless a direct power creep of an existing card in a wild deck list is printed.

For an example, look at Star Aligner Druid.  That card created just another option to do crazy Druid combo things.  Swap out a few cards from an existing wild combo deck that was set up to do something very similar already and BAM!  A “new” deck!

“A few”? Star Aligner ran tons of new cards. Juicy, biology, SA, medivh, brewmasters, pipers... While still an OTK deck with some key cards the same, it was a fairly new and unique archetype.

I highly doubt that there won’t be changes to the wild meta anymore. New cards spawn new archetypes all the time. I think we are far from hitting critical mass in wild. Even Raiding Party will probably see play in Kingsbane Rogue.

posted a message on What's your opinion of immortal prelate decks?

I really enjoyed playing around with a version of it. It can be pretty hit or miss though depending on what you draw. I've gone with a quest version so that you can still benefit from buffing recruits and other low-cost minions if you're not drawing into prelates. The only issue with it is that it can be hard to dissuade people from just destroying your face as there's generally no healing until Shirvallah comes out. I haven't played it in awhile due to messing around with healadin but I think the right list could have very good potential. I would argue that double Call to Arms is a must-have in this type of deck. Even a silence hitting a prelate isn't a huge deal as you still have Galvadon, Lynessa, the other prelate, and whichever other minions you have put buffs on.

Isn't this another user? Toy machine? I don't remember seeing him with an Edwin pic though. I remember that he was disliking decks not because they weren't viable, but because they were copy/paste and ppl didn't put any effort in the deck descriptions.

At least this is what I remember from the thread dedicated to him. I met him 1 month ago in hs.

I definitely misunderstood. I think they were originally referring to toy machine but I was referring to Richardq, Richard1234567891011, Richardwere and whatever additional accounts he made after getting repeatedly banned (for good reasons).

Woecleaver was one of my favourite crafts. While it will be rotating out soon, you can play so many crazy decks with it that it's probably worth a craft anyway (especially if you play wild at all).

There was also a dude who disliked decks for not being competetively viable. Can't remember his name as he left about a year ago as the mods didn't really like him. He was a cool dude besides that and one of the decks I remember he made a guide for was Murloc Paladin in either KotFT or K&C.

I'm not sure if this is the same guy, but there was this guy named Richardq or something along those lines that had an Edwin icon for his profile picture and constantly complained about every new rogue card being trash. I'm fairly certain he got banned for constantly ripping apart every rogue thread and badmouthing experimental decks.
