You are correct the name change happened some time ago but you are incorrect on the kobots and catacombs not having much to do with WOW, you have kobolts, you have furbear people, you have skills from wow like barkskin, the elementals are based in the wow ones, potion of heroism was an item in wow, all the legendary weapons were weapons in WOW(except the world twig and woecleaver as far as i know), so on and so on. Yes they took alot of liberty on cards that they design but you cant really say kobolds and catacombs didn't have that much to do with WOW.
"Twig of the World Tree" is a mace from Vanilla, but yeah this expansion has Warcraft references everywhere. But yeah I echo the general sentiment here - the setting of the game is based in the Warcraft universe even if "Heroes of Warcraft" was removed from the name. Every time you log in you're even greeted by a dwarf as if you're entering his tavern. Outside references here and there would be cool, but I don't think an entire expansion/adventure based on another Blizzard game would fit.
I think you should do exactly that. I played 4 games in a row all against priest this morning and won them all for that reason (plus a bit of luck). Try not to overextend and take advantage of the divine shield rng as you get it.
The cards wouldn’t benefit the quest because you play that after mulligan. So at best (without INSANE discard support in the next expansion) you start off at 15 life and two 3/3s on the board. Worst case is you go second and immediately lose turn 1 if you mulligan 4 and topdeck this.
Control warrior was one of my favorite decks to play because it felt like I had to weigh my decisions most turns instead of blindly curving out, but I think certain aggro/midrange decks can be just as interesting.
My only problem with aggro is that it tries to end the game before a lot of interesting cards are able to be played, but it's SUCH a satisfying feeling to shut out aggro openers as control so it's hard for me to pick one side of the argument.
I'm asking because I'm personally not a strong deckbuilder, but my first two legendaries were Scourgelord Garrosh and Rotface so has anyone been able to make a control deck work around the WW effect? The ones I've tried felt more like tempo decks and lacked any reliable finishers.
Congratulations! That really is great! Actually if you mouse over the rank in the quest log it should show you what percentage you are in. And don't listen to Chikau, he has never made it past rank 20. And his real life sucks even worse.
Ahahah how is reaching rank 15 any great? any brainless fool could reach rank 5 with a shitty cheap zoolock or hunter deck. Please. Don't lie to the poor kid.
It was removed from purchase when Standard was released. Like the person above said, you can craft the cards but you can't play the adventure anymore if you don't already have it.

The only way this cancels out Raza is if the Priest steals it and plays it himself lol

Pack filler? Can any of you read?
Two words - infinite value. Best card of the set.

Heroes of the Storm is based on the premise of including characters from all Blizzard's games.
Hearthstone is based on the premise of being a card game focused around Warcraft.

I just beat someone and they friended me just to say "hey gg" and unfriended me.
Was expecting a flurry of insults. Pleasantly surprised.

A card that is purely random never "always"' does anything. Sorry you've lost a few times to Yogg and got soaked in a salt bath.

Working as intended. Yogg is casting all the spells, not the player that originally played it.

It wouldn't be a day on Hearthpwn without this thread popping up.
