My guess is that this deck will keep up with agro and have a chance to rush down control. Thank you for your time reading the list and constructive feedback is welcomed!
If you already run odd priest, where's baku? and glitter mtoh isn't also worth in my opinion.. the priest hero power upgrade AND glittermoth are both quite weak I can see a zoo priest (like spiteful summoner) being successful but I don't know why would you get rid of half your card pool for a MEH card and not even running baku.
The reason why Zoo works is the card draw. Lock hero power is a big reason for its consistency. If you lack draw, you won't be able to make the archetype work.
However, I like the idea. Some sort of heal-centric midrange Priest could maybe be a viable deck.
Also, I'd still run 1x Voodoo doc at least as healing with HP is very slow for the positions where Ghoul is strongest.
There's also potential for Keleseth to fit with some revision, but I think main priority is early-aggro and draw/refill so that you can compete with Warlock's variant- and if that doesn't work there's a chance combat tricks like Shadow Madness might suit.
Ya, I might have to drop the baku idea for that all to happen, might be worth it.
Awesome concept. As has been mentioned, though, it is really tough to upgrade those spellstones. If you're hoping to find a Witchwood Grizzly, maybe Eternal Servitude would be a little bit more consistent?
Edit: d'oh. Forgot you were running Baku. Disregard.
This kind of deck has always worked to some extent, but I don't like the idea of running it without pyromancer for the card draw.
^This.
I used to use a heal/silence hybrid deck to hit rank 5 and I loved the combos you could pull off. Wild is the place to go for this with Injured Kvaldir/Circle being a really good combo along with other damaged minions and Northshire for massive draw. They also have the 4 drop (Holy Champion?) that is far sturdier than Lightwarden. It would be cool to see it work in standard too though.
I know it's early, but have you tried it yet? Obviously everybody's decks are unrefined right now, but I'm having some fun with a similar concept. I've even managed to out-tempo some Baku Rogues! The T1 Crystallizer into T2 heal + free Happy Ghoul is really strong.
I only opened one Crystallizer, and I'm hesitant to craft another this early. I ditched the Spellstone package and opted instead for some big midrange minions like Quartz Elemental, Nightscale Matriarch, and Cobalt Scalebane. In the 3-spot I'm running Omega Medic, as it's a decent enough body if you have to tempo something out and it can help stabilize late game if you're under pressure. I also threw in a couple of Curious Glimmerroots, as I feel like it's easier for this deck to get shut out on Northshire Cleric draws and my hand can run a bit dry. Also, I'm kind of digging the Unidentified Elixir for surprise value trades. It's a great way to deal with an on curve Acolyte of Pain if you managed to stick a one drop.
Oh, and a Holy Nova. That's been pretty huge in the matchups I've played so far. It synergizes with nearly every card in the deck and it's the only way I've been able to deal with wide boards.
Thanks for your version of the deck. So I took some of your great ideas and applied them to my play style and am having AMAZING results on ladder with the deck. This deck gives zoolock fits. Your idea for Quartz Elemental is amazing, so many players don't know what to do against it early game. One thing I added was a Witch's Cauldron to reload our hand when trades make sense. Over all the deck is really fun and wins!
I added [card]Archbishop Benedictus[/card] as a tech card vs pocket galaxy mage, shuffle rogue, and quest druid,
No offense, but what is the point of making a zoo priest deck, if you cut the power in half by making it odd? not only is the hero power useless (you dont want to use it lol), but you also make your even turns weak/non-existant. Im not hating on the deck, just on how you call it. Nothing about your deck is zoo style (mby the value trading). You are midrange-value at best.
Maybe a "Zoo Priest" can become a thing, however, I'm skeptical that Baku will ever belong in a Priest deck.
Look at it this way - the closest thing you can compare the hero power to is Odd Warrior, that can just keep building the armor up over and over. What are you supposed to accomplish with a 4 heal? Are you going to be healing your hero for 0 on turn 2 if you don't draw Crystallizer?
Cut Baku and try again. There may be potential there.
Sadly any type of Tempo Priest that isn't dragon related will instalose to Aggro because Aggro's turn 1-3 are just waayyyyy to strong for almost anything Priest has to offer.
did you see how strong the early game is of this deck? I've been giving zoolock and hunter a bruisen today with this deck
Cool, I have like 1700+ wins with Priest, I know that Priest can not match the early game of Zoo or most Aggro Decks. The best starting turn your deck has to offer is a singular 1 drop in Crystallizer coin Lightwarden which is ok because it sets up Happy Ghoul if that is even in your hand.
The biggest Problem with a Tempo Or Aggro Priest compared to other successful aggro decks is that Priest Cycle sucks in a Tempo or Aggressive shell. Zoo has powerful aggressive cycle options from Kobold Librarian, The Soularium, and Life Tap. Priest has Northshire Cleric which has stats that are too shitty for a tempo deck, and Neutral Draw Options which mostly are trash in a Tempo deck. Power Word: Shield is an amazing Tempo Draw option but it's not enough on its own. So as a Tempo Priest you just run out of steam, where as other aggressive decks can be aggressive and aggressively refill their hand to prevent running out of steam.
This is my take on a zoo priest. It is somewhat successful if you can get the card draw rolling. I played over 300 games with this deck and the last iteration is 10/5 at rank 4. The key really is to get the most out of your card draw and would never play the cleric on turn 1 if I am not 100% sure it will survive. Your finisher is obviously the leeroy / vivid nightmare combo. Im open to what could be improved but as i already stated. I been testing and tinkering this deck a lot.
Edit: inserting the deck does not seem to work. Here is the link to it. Zoo Priest
I'm also experimenting with a heal priest, but with mechs. I have only played it in casual, but it looks quite powerful. I'll post the list if it gives goods results in ranked.
Hope you'll succeed

I'm really liking the added tools for Odd priest.
Turn 1: Crystallizer
Turn 2: heal to be at 34 health and have a 1/3 minion.
Turn 3: lots of options from Injured Blademaster to Tar Creeper or Northshire Cleric and heal your Crystallizer. An amazing turn three play would be to coin a Northshire Cleric make sure your Crystallizer is injured and then drop a Fungal Enchanter and then Happy Ghoul. The point is turn 3 can get nuts.
My guess is that this deck will keep up with agro and have a chance to rush down control. Thank you for your time reading the list and constructive feedback is welcomed!
Isn't Divine Hymn miles better than Binding Heal? Also Spellstones won't accomplish anything powerfull with so few spells.
Edit: also if you want to play this in new expansion, Topsy Turvy is better thanInner Fire

Zoo on the other hand can go Flame Imp(Basically A better Crystallizer), coin Voodoo Doctor into double Happy Ghoul then play Prince Keleseth the next turn.
