I'll never need another card back after this one.
this card back and New year card back for end of year
JutsThe reward for the season is monthly, if you put a requisite of winning 50 games in a month instead only 5, very very few people would get it. It is there to encorage people to play some games in ranked a month
On the other hand, puzzles are there with no deadline, so you can take your time to complete. I don't understand the necessity of people to do the puzzles in a rush, i am still working on them, finishing the 1st floor (Letal) and without viewing the solutions. I think they are cool, and a nice distraction when you get bored from ranked, with a nice reward, and for me, more than enough
Also i appreciate the 3 packs without needing to complete the puzzles. Last expansion i feel "forced" to do the Monster hunt,, and having to win 10 game only for a pack. So no, i think is a mistake rewarding packs for content supposed to do when you are bored from ranked. If you put packs as a reward, and people are not atracted to do them, then is awful be forced to do to obtain a pack.
Just my opinion and sorry for my english
A guide? What? There are always guides or tips & tricks for every adventure they launched.
Maybe they are keeping the good rewards for Tournament Mode. But I'm 100% sure that there will be a 500g entry and if you get 0-3 you receive only a pack, because blizzard is greedy AF.
There is a big difference between a guide that will guarantee you success first try, compared to a guide that will give you tips and a recommended deck.
This card back is juicy!
So this is the cardback for september, right?
How far the tastes can be apart. Some people calling the cardback ugly. I think its the coolest one I saw until now. If we would be all the same it would be boring right? :)
This cardback looks better than the one we are getting for completing the lab....
Agreed - it seemed like a very odd comment.
HSReplays is tracking 30 decks with play-rates above 1%, and only one of those has a play-rate above 5%. Every class has at least two different decks above 48%, and Priest is the only class which doesn't have at least three. All things considered, this might be the widest, most diverse and balanced meta-game we've ever had . . .
why don't you go and play Qust Hunter, Freeze Shaman and Treant Druid then? Oh yeah, they suck.
There's plenty of new decks, the old decks just happen to be better since you already have a working frame to build around. That'S how it has always been.
BTW, BOth Deathrattle Hunter and Deathrattle Rogue are fairly modern,, as is the new approach to Control Warrior.
also, the last time we got a completely new deck archetype that actually worked it was called Cubelock and it violated the meta for months until they gutted it (and it's still around somehow). Same goes for Razakus, Quest Rogue and Jade Druid.
I'd rather have less innovation with more balance than a new 60% winrate metaripper every 4 months.
I agree with some of what you are saying, however the part of me that pays $50-$100 every expansion to only play 1-2 cards in a competitive deck disagrees. That is what Flux is referring to a bit in his comment I believe.
Not sure what they need to do, however this expansion was much like the last... First week or so everyone tries the OP combo decks, then people realize the same decks they were playing before are still better with a couple of the newer cards sprinkled in(Giggling Inventor) in the same decks across the board. Rinse & Repeat 3 months from now.
To be honest, It is a bit stale. I played the first two weeks and haven't been back on in the past week or so. I watch on Twitch here and there, but it is literally the same decks. I mean, when the OP (Flux) is as Pro-HS as it gets being tied in through the site, maybe there is some merit to the claim of "Stalestone"?
I like these card backs that have a wildly different coloring scheme than the rest.
Most card backs I barely even pay attention to, but some of them stand out so much that you must notice them.
This is definitely one of those.
I usually don't care for these foo-foo ones (like the Christmas or the Cupcake or the Valentines), but this one is actually pretty awesome.
I wish we could get some wild decks featured here. wild players like to netdeck too...
Stalestone? Explain? Nothing stale about Hearthstone at this moment. Other than Priest, it is a balanced game as of now.
Cant w8 for August to be over just for this juicy card back <3
Canzone we have more wild stuff?
This card back is AMAZING!
Thanks to Thijs, he tries out new decks, which are interesting to play. The other decks are ladder crap with +1/2 changes, which make them not unique imho. Let me guess, zoolock could work as well with leeroy for one doomguard. Surprise surprise
But that's not the fault of the post (as always good work), it's the fault of the meta.
Thijs just netdecks... but he plays everything to entertain his viewers... like everything include OTK paladins
The only interesting player with new and interesting decks in my opinion is Chump and he's only available on youtube
