The Construct Quarter Heroic Boss Deck Guides

Need some help with the Construct Quarter on Heroic difficulty? We've compiled some decks to help you out! The decks used for Heroic difficulty can also help you on Normal with similar strategies. If you're looking for information on the new class challenges, head on over to our Warrior Class Challenge and Priest Class Challenge pages.

Heroic Patchwerk

View the Patchwerk Boss Guide

Patchwerk is incredibly vicious on Heroic. If you thought it was hard keeping a minion on the field during the normal fight, think again. Patchwerk can swing his weapon twice on Heroic difficulty, but only for 4 damage. His hero power can still instantly kill one of your minions, so you're going to want to stock up on Faerie Dragon and Spectral Knights to avoid it.

Keep your defences high, Patchwerk controlled (Freeze!), and the spells hitting his face.

Heroic Grobbulus

View the Grobbulus Boss Guide

Grobbulus turns your life into a living hell with his Hero Power which deals aoe damage to all minions on the field and summons Slimes on his side for each minion that is killed.

The easiest way of dealing with Heroic Grobbulus is to cheese the fight with a combination of Freeze, Alexstrasza, and no minions. Focus on keeping yourself alive rather than dealing damage until it actually matters in the late game.

Heroic Gluth

View the Gluth Boss Guide

Gluth is a scary boss on Heroic Mode. He will devour you with Jaws, and it will also grow strong as his Deathrattle minions trigger. You do not want to keep your own Deathrattle minions to an absolute minimum to avoid increasing his weapon damage. Acidic Swamp Ooze or Harrison Jones can make quick work of Jaws, but you're still going to need to deal with his minions. Make sure you only use the weapon removals after you have killed off his Deathrattle minions, it will negate the buffs!

Zombie Chow should be killed when you are at a health deficit and he either doesn't have a weapon equipped or right before / after you've destroy his weapon. Silencing his minions is helpful in avoiding the extra damage gains on his hero power.

Heroic Thaddius

View the Thaddius Boss Guide

Heroic Thaddius is a fun fight! Not only does he start off with Feugen and Stalagg on the field, but on each of his turns he will switch the attack and health of all minions on the board through Polarity Shift. Giving yourself minions with high Health will give you hard hitters against Thaddius. Cards which have no attack will instantly die, this can be used to your advantage with Nerubian Eggs. Priests can buff up their minions with Inner Fire to allow them to last longer and have much less drastic effect from the Polarity Shift. Big Game Hunter can be a life safer when it comes to getting rid of Feugen and Stalagg.

Just like the rest of the Construct Quarter though, this fight is easily cheesed with some good ol' fashioned Freeze Mage.
