Grobbulus Boss Guide

Grobbulus is the eleventh boss in the Curse of Naxxramas adventure. He resides in the Construct Quarter.

Heroic Difficulty Strategy

Grobbulus turns your life into a living hell with his Hero Power which deals aoe damage to all minions on the field and summons Slimes on his side for each minion that is killed.

The easiest way of dealing with Heroic Grobbulus is to cheese the fight with a combination of Freeze, Alexstrasza, and no minions. Focus on keeping yourself alive rather than dealing damage until it actually matters in the late game.

Upon defeating Grobbulus for the first time, you will receive Mad Scientist. Additionally, you will also gain the ability to craft a Golden version of the card.

Nice deck! Built almost a similar one - try putting in Holy Champion, 3/5 with +2 attack on heals. :)

Found the Shadow Word: Death and to some extent Pain to be completely useless, just kept getting wrecked by 4 Attack minions. Swapped them both out for Inner Fire x2 and Flash Heal x2 and won first go easily.

Use the delay Freeze mage and save Fireball, double Frostbolt, and Ice Lance. Then get Ice block up and Alexstraza his face and let ice block pop and use the combo GG. :D

As a priest there is a very very easy way:

Deathlord + double Divine Spirit + Inner Fire

Shadow Word: Death for his Echoing Ooze and Mutating Injection combos.

Don't forget to heal yourself (because it could take some rounds to build up your deathlord) and if you are able to have 2 lightwells behind your Deathlord... lay back and enjoy! (Holy nova and circle of healing are great to bring all your minions up again)

Yeah I just completed this fight in normal mode by using Northshire Cleric then buffed it up and kept it alive and healing this card gave me everything else that I could ever need for this fight and that was pretty much it. This was probably one of the easiest fights in the instance IMO.
