Did you really reach legend with this in the latest season?
Probably going to be a staple list for a long time. The only thing I don't really like about this list is the Greater Healing Potion.

I can tell you cause I've hit legend. They just grind. Nothing more.
I've reached legend too and I can tell you this is not true. Grinding is only one way to reach legend. If you play correctly and with correct decks, reaching legend is only a simple matter of playing ~50 games. Players who are skilled can do this consistently, and it's not a matter of luck. Only people with lower winrates grind
How good players climb from 5 to legend then? with all those 90\10 matchups? I really want to know. I don't think they can win an odd warrior vs shudderwock with skills...because they can't.
Knowing what decks to play and being flexible is part of being skilled at the game. In today's polarized meta this skill is probably as important than piloting itself
In other words, if you know lots of people are playing shudderwock shaman at your rank, queuing odd warrior is akin to a missplay. If there are few shudderwock shamans but you still queue into one with odd warrior, you made the right play but was punished by RNG anyway, which is something that happens all the time during actual gameplay. A few losses to conflips shouldn't be a big deal to your overall winrate in the long run. If you (or "good" players) are serious about climbing, then it's your job to research what decks other people are playing and making sure 90/10 matches don't happen in the first place
Knowing that your meta is "Shudderwock, Mecha Cthun or Espionage Rogue, Deathrattle hunter, Togwaggle Druid" + more druid is a good start. Aggro is not the way to go here; if you want to beat these, you want anti-control decks like deathrattle hunter and zoolock (which are midrange decks). Zalae's divine spirit priest from the blizzard off meta showcase should do fine too, though it's really untested

Lost Tallstrider was a terrible card that saw no competitive play. Why would you want them to repeat their mistakes?

I broke down the lists from popular streamers and metagame snapshots on twitter here.
This is how the cards spread out across the various lists:
And this is how the decklists look without the 16 core cards:

Sorcerer's Apprentice and Cabalist's Tome?
Dreadsteed and Sacrificial Pact?
Soulfire and Fist of Jaraxxus?

Nahh because Upgrade! can give your current weapon +1/+1. This will just overwrite it

its really really gettin gout of hand with those joke winrates.
If you write a guide play the deck for more then 20minutes please for gods sake.
and ppl in chat talking about 75% winrate on a 4 game sample are even more retared, hell learn some statistics anything below 50 games is completely worthless for a winrate

wow thanks for including so much detail in this....

Its not even close to freeze mage, lol, you shouldnt lose a single game vs control warrior. Dont play duplicate first time you have free 3 mana for it, wait for archimage or emperor, same with effigy, you have a lot of time to wait with secrets and this way they won't have enough removals, you win on board.

This needs Open the Waygate and Arcane Giants.

Treachery is only to donate them a Doomsayer later in the game to clear the board. Bonus points if Big Priest resurrects it.
Rin, the First Disciple is needed against other slow decks as Big Priest, Reno decks and Odd Warrior can actually win in Fatigue without that card. You can run Mecha'Thun package instead.
It's a slow control deck anyways. Most of the time your win condition is denying their win condition. I like them over other commonly played healing options like Amethyst Spellstone or Mistress of Mixtures. Note that you can use Zilliax' magnetic option with an Antique Healbot on board.

If you don't want Mech Hunter, give Malygos Secret Hunter a try. I've played this deck https://hearthstone-decks.net/malygos-hunter-93-legend-duwinhs/ with some success on rank 4.

At the last Worldchampionship one player, Roger, tried to counter Control Warrior with his lineup:

Who is fooling the others? Some of the Wilddecks like Even Shaman or Evenlock are way cheaper than their standard counterparts.
Unless you do stupid day one hype crafts, like Gonk Druid in the early Rastakhan days, you earn enough gold and dust to keep the old cards and have several tier decks in both formats just by playing on a daily basis. If you sorely need some dust you can still start disenchanting the rotated non-meta cards.

Ship's Cannon, Southsea Captain, Flametongue Totem, Steward of Darkshire can do a lot damage if left unattended.

He has anti synergy to being recruited himself. Plus he will never be as good as other cards that fill the board like N'Zoth, the Corruptor, Bloodreaver Gul'dan or Greater Diamond Spellstone.
The Execute and especially the FWA nerf destroyed that type of Midrange Warrior.

Don't dust any legendaries if you don't have a plan on how to spend that dust.
Varian Wrynn:1/10 If I would play Big Warrior, I would run Gather you Party, Woecleaver and The Boomship and minions without battlecry, like Geosculptor Yip, Grommash Hellscream or Y'Shraaj, Rage Unbound. I think this card hasn't aged well.
Wrathion: 1/10 The number of cards drawn is on average too low for such a poor stat per mana ratio. I don't remember he saw ever any competitive play.
Blingtron 3000: 2/10 Guess this one is just for the Memes.

Despite the nerf, Patches the Pirate is very good and sees play in competitive decks - Odd Rogue, Pirate Warrior and Aggro Kingsbane Rogue.
All the other cards don't see any competitive play. Of those, Vol'jin had some play in the past and has a synergy with Shadowreaper Anduin's heropower.

That's the joke. There are no druid decks, because they're not worth playing.
