People keep talking about Mage/Warrior but forget that Divine Spirit and Prismatic Lens are both big problems that need to be addressed
Blizz is watching divine spirit and that card hopefully gets it's cost bumped to 3 or 4 mana this upcoming balance patch. Prismatic lens also needs a +1 mana bump.
Gonna nerf BIG PRIEST????? Increase mana cost on ALL spells by 1
Resurrect from 2 to 3
Eternal Servitude from 4 to 5
Shadow Essence from 6 to 7
Diamond spellstone from 7 to 8
Blizz said a few weeks ago that Barnes is the top choice to nerf in order to address big priest. Consider any additional nerfs to be a nice bonus, one that might not happen in the same balance patch as Barnes, but as something down the road if big priest is still OP after Barnes gets nerfed.
I wouldn't be surprised if Barnes isn't touched. They looked at it before, and decided not to nerf it. Nothing has changed. Also, a nerf to Barnes wouldn't make a huge impact to Big Priest. The deck is capable of functioning when they don't draw it anyway.
I wish you would stop spamming the same thing over and over if every thread. We get you don't like Big Priest. But repeating the same thing over and over isn't gonna make any difference.
*sigh* for the millionth time, barnes is not the problem many competitive BP decks actually forfeit the card, Eternal Servitude allowing the priest to dodge transform tech is the real problem
why is everyone still crying about control warrior? it gets annihilated by every not-trash-tier deck in this meta. mage, shaman, pally, hunter all beat warrior easily.

Damn... It gets beaten so easily? Prolly the reason why it is the 2nd best deck in the meta.

I can't imagine being that salty and triggered to the point that he wastes his time spamming the same message over and over again as if that would be of any benefit to him.
Perhaps some therapy and a new hobby sounds like a healthy change of pace for this chump.
let's hope they will not nerf some stuff only to please flock's will. in general standard is quite balanced
edit: ok, i was wrong, ladder is full of wineasy decks, game becomes less and less interactive, that's result of higher power level of this expansion, we'll end up like kobolds & catacombs, GOD SAVE US
That escalated quickly!

i hate nerfs...wish they would just buff more stuff. nerfs feel too participation trophy-y. wine and complain enough about losing and eventually you get your way. so may ways to beat prismatic the scales, basically any board clear. divine spirit inner fire usually gets stopped by a single taunt minion. luna's is kind of bs but not unbeatable. same goes with boom. they win or lose by their top deck of a single card out of 30. surprise it's a card game top decks are a thing. every strategy has a counter it's just whether or not you're willing to change decks or your own strategy to try and counter them. sad thing is we as humans suck (me included) and we rather bitch and moan instead.
If they nerf priests only viable core minion to 2 mana (northshire cleric) and unnerf extra arms back to 3 mana, that totally destroys priest's early game. Without that pseudo taunt in cleric, then priest die so quickly to aggro it's not funny. Priest get a tier 1 deck for 5 mins and all hell breaks loose.
Yet druid, shaman, hunter can flood the board and do full board buffs (compared to priest single target buffs) and whale on you at turn 4/5 .. paladin get minions on board and buff faster than priest with better healing options.
It's just ridiculous. Devs have a hardon for keeping priest as a bottom feeder.
Cleric is not even used in all priest viable decks, just mostly IF/DS or nomi decks. Leave her alone, and leave extra arms alone, it rotates soon anyway. 8 months left.
Extra arms at 3 was not playable due to priest not having a board to buff at 3.

And what exactly do you think they will do about Divine Spirit? The only treatment they could give it is HoF and that's not going to happen. Especially since Shadow Visions rotated out.
I dare to say priest has the worst basic set of all classes. Recently Mind Blast got replaced and if you HoF Inner Fire too , Priest will barely ever have decent basic cards to build around. Meaning they will need OP cards every expansion to even have a chance in a current meta. IF they are going to get rid of Inner Fire, they better have a good card to compensate for it.

I am not saying I want to see this, but many people are complaining about it. It's the most overused combo that Priest has. It is the most powerful deck archetype there is. If you leave a minion on board in the mid to late game, they can simply win out of nowhere.
If Blizzard wants to get rid of this playstyle, but not the card, it will get HOF'd.
I agree, if they do this, Priest will NEVER have any good decks when rotation happens and every expansion will see more and more OP cards for Priest.
I think almost everyone agrees, let's go and fix some of the classic and basic cards in a way that they are strong enough to support the class between expansions.
You could take ANY deck, throw in card draw and some healing. Then play the Inner Fire combo and win with junk minions.
The only other card that keeps Priest afloat is Power Word Shield, and this most used for card draw and Pyro combos.
Bring on the common and rare nerfs!!

Vargoth somehow needs to nerfed along with him or there is really no point.

I'm more curious about what Ben Brode is up to and the Marvel CCG he is creating. That's far more important.

It's not remo mage specifically getting hit. Most likely conjuer's calling and luna. Dr Boom is probably finally getting looked at.
Legit Nerf leak: CC goes to 4 mana and Extra Arms goes back to 3 mana
Hey you just described the exact state of arena, except it rotates every 2 months. Give it a try.

This is some of the dumbest shit I've read. None of these nerfs make sense imo.
Barnes is still a stronger card than vargoth in the early game. Nerfing Barnes hurts a lot.
I can definitely see a handful of legendaries being nerfed or adjusted, particularly the quests and neutral minions.
Expecting them to be nerfed into oblivion, of course, but here's hoping they get something right.
