I have mixed feelings on the Saronite nerf. I get it, and definitely needed. However, it ruins my Shudderwock fun in Standard (Wild still has Doppelgangster if I really want to OTK with it), but more importantly, this kind of ruins my Wild Val'anyr Buff Paladin. I can still do some of the same shenanigans (again, Doppelgangster as well as Echoing Ooze) but I used the card in that list to get a Val'anyr buff on a copying minion, then deploy it to get the weapon back a few times before sending out another copying minion with the buff... or in some cases sending out Zilliax with 2x Val'anyrs on it (+8/+4), It wasn't top tier, but really fun to play none the less. May have a slightly lower fun level now... Maybe not seeing a billion Kingsbane Rogues in a row will make up for it though.
Also they should have nerfed Spreading Plague same reason they nerfed leeching poison. Class identity.
Druid was weak against wide boards. This card kills it, also the reason why we have lots of otk druid decks.

It saw some play several expansions ago with Coldlight Oracle, now to be at its prime due to Raiding Party giving it more consistent draw for 2 weeks, now to be nerfed again. If this card never sees its prime, why bother even releasing it? The other nerfs are justifiable, but nerfing Leeching Poison just doesn't seem about right to me.

The old wording is to summon a copy. The new wording is "another Saronite Chain Gang". So it's going to just summon a base stats Saronite (2/3 taunt) without any buffs on the one you played first.
Change is likely due to things like Soul Infusion and other buffs, as well as cards like Shudderwock and the OTK combo caused by summoning copies that then get Grumbled back to hand for a bunch of 1 mana Shudderwocks. The new SCG battlecry in Shudderwock will just summon a 2/3 taunt, not another Shudderwock. RIP original Shudder OTK combo (still possible in Wild with Doppelgangster though).
AND probably good for the mental health of some people ;)
Already seeing these announced nerfs lifted my mood by a gazillion miles! Of course there will then be "the next thing to hate", but losing constantly to these same old decks has had me searching for my own tomb stone and a land to dig myself into...
Good news here! The nerfs all touch the decks that are highly uninteractive - which is good! First Raza Priest, then (twice) rogue quest, now shudderwock (which is not that OP but still not fun to play against).
I don't like these nerfs. They literally killed two archetypes.
Kingsbane rogue was kind of busted, so fair enough. I think they could have weakened the archetype rather than kill it, though. They had to do something if they wanted to nerf it's worst matchup in odd pally, but jeez.
Shudderwock nerf is terrible imo. I totally understand the reasoning, but the timing is terrible. All they did is make sure the card will see 0 competitive play until rotations happen. The rotation was going to kill the combo anyway. You need something like the combo to compete with the power levels of year of the mammoth cards. They just killed shaman's only consistent tournament deck after it's been around all year.
Not to mention Saronite is a lot worse in general now since it loses handbuff synergy with keleseth, valanyr, soul infusion, etc.
Odd paladin is fucked. It'll still be around but it will no longer be a top aggro deck. Level up was the best card for the deck, nothing else will give the same level of finisher or ability to protect face against other aggro.
Not too sure about Druid. They will probably still be good but they might have to actually play some early cards. This really makes their curve weird since you can't WG into one of their many power 4 mana cards like Oaken summons, Branching paths, WW, etc. Might be worth it to just play the 3/1 ramp dude instead of WG. Odd druid is ded before it even lived.
Hunters are going to have a field day with this. Shudderwock, Odd pally, and Kingsbane all kept them in check more or less. I'm not sure what's going to now.
I can't believe that Blizzard is listening to the community and nerfing the problematic cards. This should have been TBP nerfs, along with GI but better late than never. Thank you Blizzard :)
While I'm pleased Blizz is being more proactive on the nerf front I'm cynical as to the reason these cards have been nerfed. None of these cards are really OP by themselves but are enabled by others (which all happen to be legendary or epic - eg. Shudderwock, Kingsbane, 10mana 5.5.5.5.5.5.5 UI). Why not nerf those ones instead (other than the obvious dust refund cost). Also - Prince Keleseth remains un-changed...wtf. Imo he's as badly designed as Patches was - no thought, no skill, super impactful on the game outcome on the flip of a coin.

Ithink they need to add 2 dr hunt triggering drs here, i mean, 3 mana guy and 2 mana play dead spell. After this it will be awesome
This is an absolutely huge nerf! Druid got kicked in the nuts big time. I understand why these changes had to happen but I am kinda bummed since Druid has always been my fav class by some distance. Thankfully I already have a Golden Druid Hero because the class is going to have a seriously hard time recovering now!
The other changes are all really good imo. Kingsbane was something that needed to be dealt with eventually and this was the perfect way to address it. And this is a huge help to the wild meta as well which is great.

Couldn't be happier. Also I have 2 golden saronite and a golden nourish. Shame I dusted like 2 or 3 extra level up tho :/

That Saronite Chaing Gang nerf also hits Zoolock hard. No 2x 4/5 with that 1 mana cost +2/+2 Spell (or 5/6 with keleseth) minions anymore.

Kingsbane is still viable card, but it's not that easy to use. 8/4 weapon is still good and can heal 32 hp with 2x Doomerang.
