What I think we need are specific cards that can solve problems with the game currently. I play control and midrange decks, so aggro I dont really care for.
1) silence a weapon minion or spell
2) card/cards that interact with your opponents deck or hand like gnomeferatu or dirty rat
3) another new deathknight? Priest would be cool
4) some cards to help mage a little, bring back big mage Haha. Help make mage great again
5) new powerful legendaries to base a new archetype or deck around.
I'd also love more Pirates fitting Rogue and Paladin (also enhancing the powerlevel of Golakka Crawler in my Even decks as a counter), but the above are the main key synergies i'll be looking for.
Totally agree with this. My thinking was a minion-based effect along the lines of "your other minions' aura effects do not apply to your opponent". I worry that the design team would view that as too complicated for newer players though, so I doubt it would actually happen.

Not really asking for a lot. I feel like the dev team can make some interesting cards. It would be nice to see some interesting interactions that Tavern of Time cards had.
While I would love a weapon silence as I mainly play renolock in ranked, I think it would just make renolock way too powerful, because you can just tech in said weapon silence and pretty much be unbeatable when playing correctly, there is not a lot of things that can beat that deck, so I think it would be unfair towards kingsbane, as much as I hate it.
I'm really hyped for the next Hero card, since common sence telling me it's gonna be either Rogue or Pally, and both are my favs. Some mechs for Warrior, to buff dat pesky dr.Boom a little bit. Anything good for Mage, she needs it. Warlock cards not related to Zoo, that would be great. Some decent-ish cards for Druid (yeah, unexpected), since after rotation he's gonna SUCC unsless hes getting something playable this expansion. Priest AOE would be nice, maybe some deathrattles for Reckless Experimenter, card is nuts. I also would like to see more Echo cards, but, unfortunately, this seems to be WW-locked mechanic, which is a shame. Windfury is pretty rere nowadays too, might be neat.

Not a checklist at all but I expect to see at least 2 of the following, or wont even expend most my gold in this expansion.
1.More armor card for warrior

-fun Shudderwock battlecry interactions (not ones that make the current meta version better though)
-maybe one or two more mechs or magnetic interactions?
-cards that might make Duskfallen Aviana or Harbinger Celestia slightly less terrible
-beasts that might be interesting for Deathstalker Rexxar and/or Dire Frenzy, some weak ones too to lower the consistency of build-a-beast
-minions that are good with Zerek's Cloning Gallery
-low or high cost paladin spells that could be fun with Prismatic Lens
Edit: After reading sneezingmeerkat's post I remembered I also want more fun cards for evolve shaman :p
Here's what I want to see in order of what I want the most:
1. Reno decks again. The effect needs to be strong and fun, while simultaneously staying away from the broken/ annoying category.
2. Dragons and/ or Dinosaurs.
3. More Evolve Shaman support pwease bwizzord.
4. Dirty Rat 2.0
5. Actual "deal X damage" spells for Paladin please. I want to make Malygos Paladin an actual thing.

Neutral tech card that can deal with combo stuf. I can deal with most of deck but god good.
I'm not an odd-rogue player so...
3 cards that buff deathrattle rogue. And a deathrattle legendary that is not shitty.
A card that makes thief rogue more competitive; also, can generate another class card even if the enemy is another rogue.
A stealth minion.
A card that makes faster, BIGGER and more rabbits.
Another THICC Legendary rogue waifu to add in my collection.
